- In tonight's edition: Over the weekend, Kinshasa accused Rwanda of using a drone to attack a plane at an airport near Goma, in eastern DR Congo. Protesters have now taken to the streets of Goma as tensions escalate. Also, Somali terror group Al Shabaab says that two Cuban hostages abducted from Kenya almost five years ago were killed in a US air strike. And more protests take place in Nigeria over crippling 30 percent inflation that is leaving many struggling to pay for food.

Not with the blessing of Mobutu. Mobitu was accepted to receive e refugees that Kagame military was actively pushing to the Congolese frontiers. Let's say the truth. They made sure that all hutus refugees be pushed to the Congolese frontier and killed any refugees that were going into other neighboring countries like Tanzania. The whole thing was planned by Kagame and the west, even the genocide was planned by the same people. This is the truth. File took advance of all these refugees forced to go into Congo and blended in.

it is a shame that the journalist can’t specifically say that the Europeans mercenaries who are from Roumania and France have been fighting and actually dying. He does not speak about deliberate killings of civilian Tutsis in Masisi and Rutshuru or for that matter, 3000 Tutsis in jail in Kinshasa at Makala and Ndolo with no legal proceeding. The conflict stems from Operation Tourquoise that allowed genocidaires from Rwanda to enter Congo in 1994, killing DRC Tutsis. They were protected, rearmed and DRC never desarmed them. When the journalist says Fdlrs are not strong, it is that narrative that has kept peace to come to DRC.

The USA and the International Community are behind Rwanda, which is behind the M23. If the war ends, then the UN loses its job in D.R.Congo although it does not do its job of protecting the people. The forces that sent the UN (MONUSCO) to the DRC are backing up Rwanda and that is the biggest confusion.

@@Krisexcellence I think u need to read history. DRC welcomed people commited Genocide in DRC during Mobutu's time. Allowed FDLR to function and actually be part of the DRC army. These FDLR have been hunting and killing Tutsis in DRC. Adding on that the whole DRC started a propaganda to hate Tutsi and everyone who speaks kinyarwanda I DRC, calling them enemies. This is ethinitic cleansing propaganda is being done in even in primary schools. Very young kids are being taught to hate everyone who speaks kinyarwanda In DRC. Why is this being done ? You should ask DRC government. But I believe the main part is FDLR genocidal ideology has entered the DRC system. Another problem with DRC is that it has somehow accepted all rebel g4oups to be formed and work in DRC. This is not safe for any neighbor. This is a bit of misinformation. M23 is a Tutsi military group formed to protect Congolese Tutsis after the genocide. Rwanda and Congo continue to fight because the truth is never told. There is so much that is hidden about these governments which is why it is hard to find a diplomatic solution. Sadly civilians pay the price. Pray for Congo and Africa in general

Sadc is fighting with people who want their rights and that is why they are fighting when they have nothing to lose.
M23 rebels are majorly formed by eastern congo tribes like Banyamulenge and all Kinyarwanda speaking tribes who have been victims of so much segregation and have been systematically ethnically cleansed just because they speak Kinyarwanda as their language. In the past they've been denationalised and have been called Rwandese yet they ended up under Congo's jurisdiction during the partition of Africa just like other crossboarder tribes. The rebels fighting the government want their people living in poor conditions in refugee camps across greatlakes and beyond to be resettled back in their lands but the government doesn't want. To understand their cause, u need to read more about the agreements they signed with the Congolese government in 2013 but the government didn't implement them thus justifying their fight. They're literally a people who are fighting for their own survival and genuine causes that need to be addressed as soon as possible but the world don't normally hear their side of the story.

FDRL is a major player in these conflicts since the 1994 genocide of Tutsis. After failing in Rwanda they continued their killings in DRC on congolese tutsis and chased them from their home you should not forget that.
