Hey guys, I hope you've enjoyed this shorter video. I wanted to talk about Monster Jam Showdown for a bit now, and my allergies have made it hard to work on my regular videos. So, if my voice sounds off, it's due to my allergies!
Everyone needs to come together and let Devs know we want just.... one hardcore "Sim" style monster truck game Everything about an arcade monster truck game is unsatisfying unless youre an 8yr old!
@Soul-st1ce Wrong! I like a good arcade game! However monster truck games are not what they used to be Physics were better on N64 and that was arcade! MJ games are clunky if it's gonna be an arcade game polish it! I hate clunky feeling games! Ridge Racer is a arcade game and imo it's way better than NFS! Nfs is a clunky feeling now yet in the early 2000's it was smooth the game that lost its way! I appreciate all kinds of games but arcade games now days feel cheaply put together!
I’m not a fan of Monster Jam like I was back then, but I’m intrigued that Milestone is behind this one. Also still got to play Gravel since you mentioned that as well.
floatiness reminds me a little bit about Motorstorm 1 and 2. whats interesting is that when i talked to the dude responsible for the physics and stuff for those two games, he said that it was virtually the same, and that they just changed the camera FOV and angle and such. for anyone whos played MS1 and MS2, they know the first one feels ALOT more floaty compared to the sequel. i guess they could fix it here too by letting people adjust the camera settings?
It could be possible that the camera is making it seem floatier than it is. Milestone's 3rd person cameras haven't been the best, so maybe it will look better on release.
Mattel might have been the one to blame for the insane amount of dlc in the first Unleashed game, so we hopefully won't see that in other Milestone games.
@@GamerAlexVideos i understand you care a lot about physics but as a former game dev im less of a snob cause ik that shit is hard and i have to disagree about the graphics i think the game looks really good and they did a great job optimising it for the nintendo switch. i feel like the physics were fine for freestyle but the racing modes were definately quite halfbaked
Do you have any concerns for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown? Because from the demo that released several days ago many people especially an old fans of the series was dropping the hype because of how disappointing the first impression is
I've had concerns with the game for a while now since KT Racing hasn't made a game of this scale yet. After playing the demo, I don't have like any hope that it will launch in a polished state. It's extremely rough.
@@GamerAlexVideos Giving a responsibility to KT Racing for reviving TDU is already a big mistake for Nacon since KT Racing never handover a open world racing games in their development history most of racing games that KT Racing developed was a closed track racing games and TDU itself has many complex mechanic heck KT Racing can't even put a basic mechanic on the game judging from the demo (House mechanic) Nacon should consider a another developer to develop the game in the first place rather then handing over anything to KT Racing and not to mention that KT Racing is a small scale developer
If your 9 years old yes this can be a good game for a few boring rainy days. But overall. It's another patch on every other monster jam game ever made.
Monster Jam games can be enjoyed by teens and adults too. I think developers forget about older fans at times, though... (Looking at you, Rainbow Studios)
kinda sighed when I heard the name Milestone after Hotwheels unleashed but maybe il be pleasantly surprised honestly i think I'm going to pirate this game as i don't have high hopes and then if its really good il consider buying it
Hey guys, I finally made a video talking about what I think about the game. Make sure to watch it! th-cam.com/video/Z5-JVtmbq9k/w-d-xo.html

I can't wait to play the game I'm excited
It’s awesome I got an interview from one of the Monster Jam commentators at the Sun Bowl Stadium for the new Monster Jam Showdown Video Game

Arcade racers aren't only for kids you know...
People like you are one of the many why the more arcadey and creative AAA racing games died off.

@@StreetRacingLifeStyleCheck out Bigfoot King Of Crush. It's very fun and has aged like fine wine
Gravel 2 looks crazy. I WILL be buying this.

Wait, you're on reddit!!! Also, nice video. I also can't wait for this game!
Yup, I've been hanging around the Monster Jam subreddit recently.

Steel Titans 2 was definitely better than 1. I found a lot more playability in the sequel and still enjoy it to hold me over until Showdown.

if u have time u need check the OG game Monster Truck Madness for win 95 👌👌
honestly i quite enjoyed monster truck championship and it was a lot more fun than steel titans imo
From a gameplay standpoint, Monster Truck Championship is definitely a better experience. I just wasn't impressed by the graphics and physics.

@@GamerAlexVideos I'm looking for a racing game that uses dubstep as the foundation for its soundtrack
@Zynet_Eseled Ridge Racer Unbounded has some dubstep in its soundtrack.
At least they didn't give the job to Team 6 Studios 🤣
*Please don't remind me of Monster Jam: Crush It* ☠️
@@GamerAlexVideos 🤣
At least they're listening to the fans by bringing fan-favorites, like Higher Education, Avenger, Brutus, DIGatron, you name it.

@@GamerAlexVideos no
I think Unleashed 2 is better than the first, so it's worth a shot
@@GamerAlexVideos alright il try it soon
