    Also, how about the led version for the F1 rim? :D
    Also 2: How would you wire the leds as well? - another dedicated board? Or change the board completely?

      Hello Vlad,
      As I can see, this is the most problematic point for the users. I will make a tutorial about this in the upcoming projects.
      Basically you will need two usb cables, that are connected to the 7 or 8 pin DIN connector.
      For the LED's the most easiest way is to connect them to an Arduino nano.

      Just wire it up like regular usb cables. You cut one end of the USB cable, solder 4 wires to the 4 pins, and do it with the second cable also. Make sure you solder each color to the exact same pin on the other half of the DIN connector.

  • @ryanokeefe12
    @ryanokeefe12 ปีที่แล้ว

    I wouldn't rely on dupont jumper style connections on something like this. They're horrible at staying in place and even if they do, the constant movement will loosen the connection.
    I'm sure it'll be fine for a little while but it won't take long to before you get intermittent connection issues.
    Get yourself some silicone wire, remove the header pins on the board and solder directly.. At the very least, use some hot glue to prevent movement of the connectors.

    • @hteksimulatorengineering
      @hteksimulatorengineering  ปีที่แล้ว
