      114 would eat the 107 in real life

      @@loweredyote8416not huge difference. Only reason to get the 114 is a longer stroke crank that can get a bigger motor at build time. A 107 with a bolt-in cam will smoke a 114/117.

      @@freebehindbars8654 I’d hope so lol. It’s all the same base motor. Stock for stock or even stock 114 vs stage 1 107, the 114 eats it

      @@loweredyote8416 it’s like saying a 383 and 350 are the same motor, but the crank, pistons, bore… are different. A true stage 1 (air, exhaust and tuner) will get you to the 114 output, no problem. My comment was aimed at the difference in cost is more than the output difference. That short stroke with a bigger bore makes a faster reving motor, that produces different kinds of power.

      @@freebehindbars8654 it’s not enough of a displacement difference to really matter lol. I’d rather spend the few more grand up front and have the faster and more desirable bike vs a few grand in aftermarket to make it keep up

    Why did the 114 not win?
