One thing about the launch and r/t… it’s more about anticipation of the green dropping. A standard tree has half a second between lights. So you need to be dropping the hammer before the light turns.
I'm 74 and just bought my 10th bike, a 2011 FLHTK with a stage one 103. Watching you guys has inspired me to go ahead and get a cam and a tuner to see what mine will do. Great video!
So great seeing the boys help each other improve on two wheels. First Lance imparting his wheelie wisdom on Juan and then Juan bringing the science and skills to the strip 👌
Awesome. Fueling Parts cam + install with the custom dyno tune woke Juan’s 107 up. Sure Lance’s CVO upgrade day is coming soon. Putting both on a mild diet will aid in power to weight metrics too. Nothing lots of $$$ can’t fix. Great channel.
Cool video! I learned years ago not to take treaded tires into the water for burn out. Tread holds water letting tires spin on launch. Made me remember my street night at Sears point northern CA . Good times
Lances reaction is the same for EVERY guy that I have ever brought to the drag strip on a bike!! Everyone thinks its no big deal, that it will be the same as taking off at a light or running your buddy on the street....ITS ABSOLUTELY NOT!! There is a TON of technique involved, a ton of skill, and it gets your adrenaline pumping just the same as if you were at a track day. Its off the chain fun to race at a strip under professional conditions and if you are the competitive type of person, you just literally get sucked in. For your first time Lance, you did REALLY GOOD!!!! Juan had a HUGE advantage since he had raced on a dragstrip before. So glad you guys swapped bikes....that was the race to watch to see if more experience could overcome the cam....
Big G'day to all at Team Thrashin' from Down Under 🇦🇺 Another epic video from Team Thrashin' yet again 🖤🧡🖤 Drag Racing isn't just about having the fastest bike on the day.... All comes down to the 🌲& being able to get that power to the ground without smokin' the wheel. May all your days be Harley days🖤🧡🖤 Safe travels 🙏♥️🐾🐾🇦🇺
Best video ever! It was a blast watching you guys on the track. The 107 is killer. Gotta get that 117 upgraded. Can’t wait for the comeback! Thanks for sharing.
Wish I caught the live drop! Well done Juan and the awesome set up from Feuling! Nothing like a night at the track to get you pumped up for more HP, even if your just a spectator! Great balance Lance coaching Juan for wheelies, and Juan coaching track time!
Great ad for a new cam and tune-up for a Milwaukee 8. Guess what I'll be saving up for over the next few months? Great vid. Let the competition between Lance and Juan begin.....
Great video. Pretty badass you guys went to a track. One tip is when you guys do the burnout, if you don't have slicks on just do a small burnout to clean the tire. Street tires will overheat and give you less grip
Great video guys! Had a big smile the whole time. Brings me back to my racing days. Juan enjoy the victories, Lance is going to be hard to beat when he upgrades that 117.
Wheelie King vs. Drag strip Rey!!! Bikes make so much of the difference but reaction time is key. Tacos looked great and so was your night. Be safe yet fast, Amigos.
Great video. I did a stage 2 on my 107. I was making 104hp and 116 torque. I did a 30/30 485 star racing cam. But I have a 128 kit pushing 136hp and 151 torque
Lance’s bike probably still has the stock throttle progressivity settings, it’s adjustable in the FP3 and now Juan’s bike has it mapped adjusted by the dyno tune. Stock throttle is only 30% in the first 3 gears under 3 or 3500 rpm and gradually opens up.
The pitch of Juan’s bike sounds higher like it’s just ripping harder. That was cool to watch fellas. I look forward to seeing the CVO get it’s upgrade. 🤘🏻
Good one. You guys have to do this again, but needs to be the same bike class and same tuning to get see who is the track champ. Seems that Juan was on a personal mission here and taking no prisoners. Very possible the food weighed Juan down on Lance's bike because he was still pretty close. Lance was more upright which could have created some drag preventing that 90 from being realized.
2 things Juan can do. Either get Harley’s 119ci kit which bolts on with stock crank. Or get the Trask Turbo kit, which is insane. Buddy put it on an older Dyna and he puts safe 180hp to the wheel and about 180tq. Probably more on the M8’s with a cam.
Lance - are you going to tune the stock config and see if that makes a diff before putting in the cam? Seems like you could move your torque and hp curve up the rpm range a bit and be able to compete with Juan.
I can tell you from over 40 years of experience, in So CA, 76/ Unocal is top quality fuel. They were one of the last holdouts still pumping 93 octane until CARB shut them down. I've always gotten top MPG's with Unocal, Exxon Mobil and Chevron fuels. and I log every fillup. A fuel has to deliver top HP to give you more MPG"S . I avoid Shell and Valero branded fuels. They just don't deliver, despite the better price per gallon.
funny about the one with the higher octane gas somehow would give an advantage. I am sure that you know that the high octane is so that high compression engines do not have damaging preignition and knocking. no extra horsepower in hi octane.
RIP to thrashing’s budget. I used to race there with a stock 5.0 and after my first visit I started modding the car. Next thing you know we’re gonna see a Thrashin drag bike. Welcome the sickness bro
Another awesome video. Love watching you guys it’s inspiring and fun. It would be great to see a tune done on the Stock, CVO before you start adding Performance parts. It would really illustrate how much better a bike can run with a good tune versus the factory EPA tune. Also, you might as well go big with the CVO and throw a 128 kit in that bad boy!
I think there should be some research on the gas pump thing…I’d assume there are valve systems there to pump what you are paying for? Might get a bit but a couple gallons before you get proper octane? Clutch and compensator improvements might grip a bit more of that power quicker? Can’t tell you how fun this was to watch!
It was noticeable for sure. We liked the feeling of the cable more than the hydraulic clutch for racing but the hydraulic feels better for cruising for sure.
Juan is a natural drag racer. You could tell he was into it 👊
The look on Juan's face going down the track! PRICELESS!
I’m 67 years old and truly enjoy watch you guys. Great race Juan..
Glad you enjoyed it!
Anyone else catch them racing without the “rental” helmets and using their bell mods? 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Shhhhh...
Lmao!🤙🏻
Haha was thinking the same thing
I came here to make this comment!
Great Video, all the work on Juan's bike is paying off.
You got that right!
I agree. Great vlog. I was not expecting to see you guys drag racing at the track.
It’d be sick to see the carbon ST hit the drag strip
Maybe soon!
I was thinking it would be nice to see both ST’s race.

Juan is having too much fun smoking Lance. Can’t wait to see the 117 wake up.Great vid.
Us too!
This vlog had me smiling ear to ear I love the friendly competition between yall. Now bring on the cam installation on lances bike 🫡🇺🇸🤙🏽
Soon!
Awesome that 107 472 cam bike is spectacular , a lot of credit to Allen the guy who tuned the 107
He did great work!
Awesome. Fueling Parts cam + install with the custom dyno tune woke Juan’s 107 up. Sure Lance’s CVO upgrade day is coming soon. Putting both on a mild diet will aid in power to weight metrics too. Nothing lots of $$$ can’t fix. Great channel.

Thanks for the info!
Awesome episode!!!! Juan’s cammed 107 totally ate the 117 .Have a rematch when the cvo is cammed and put the carbon ST also against Juan’s .
Good to know all those track requirements
We should have done some research before going haha
Lance Juan is never going to let that go u will never hear the end!!! Never live that down bro!!!

We'll do another one soon enough!
You guys have so much fun. And thanks for doing it at a track.
More to come!
Glad you had fun 1/8 drags
I’m home sick and watching your videos. I feel like shit but I can’t stop smiling. These drag races were great
Thanks! Hope you feel better!
Cmon Lance build up that 117! So pumped for the coming videos!!
Soon!
Great ad for a new cam and tune-up for a Milwaukee 8. Guess what I'll be saving up for over the next few months? Great vid. Let the competition between Lance and Juan begin.....

That was so much fun to watch I can’t imagine how much fun it was for you guys plus the track staff seemed really cool and excited about their jobs
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a good time and the staff was insanely cool!
Can’t wait to see what happens next !
Us too!
Congrats Juan on your victory and enjoy it bc it wont last long once Lance does his motor work.
Great video guys! Had a big smile the whole time. Brings me back to my racing days. Juan enjoy the victories, Lance is going to be hard to beat when he upgrades that 117.
Can't wait!
Wheelie King vs. Drag strip Rey!!! Bikes make so much of the difference but reaction time is key. Tacos looked great and so was your night. Be safe yet fast, Amigos.
That was good to watch!!! Juan is boss
Glad you enjoyed it! more to come!
Best you tube video/ series ever!!!
Dang Juan is a beast on the track!! More drag racing episodes please!!
We'll have more soon! Just gotta get that CVO juiced up first!
Looks like Lance is going down the rabbit hole with head and cam work.😉
Soon!
Great video. Love watching new racers get their first taste.
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come!

What a great video! Loved seeing you guys rip the baggers. I really want to see that CVO get built up. Keep up the fantastic work.
Glad you enjoyed it! Soon!
Nice job Juan !! That 117 is a pretty big let down man.
Not for long!
FANTASTIC Video ! Awesome comparison . Imagine when the 117 gets a cam ?? Keep em coming !
Soon!
The pitch of Juan’s bike sounds higher like it’s just ripping harder. That was cool to watch fellas. I look forward to seeing the CVO get it’s upgrade. 🤘🏻
this was great.. can't wait to see what the 117 does with a cam
Us too!
Hang on boys, we’re going down the rabbit hole!!
hahaha its never ending!
That had to be one of the best video yet looks like you all had a blast
We did!
Them 2 into 1 exhaust sounds so good that’s what I have on my bike
Loved watching you guys! Lots of fun!!
It would be really cool to see how the STs do against each other on the track.
Maybe soon!
I think it’s time to bring the bikes to the gator nationals and have some fun! Great video guys

Great vid i was smiling ear to ear at the competitive banter 😂 👍
Glad you enjoyed!
The trick is to go when yellow lights turn off BEFORE green turns on
HAHA, you guys. Juan doggy, the 107 is no joke. Its a ripper. I was laughing the whole time. Thanks guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hell yea Juan was kicking ass. Now let's see who has more gold medal though
Word to ma boy lance for not being a sore loser but that 107 be eating
Juan and whole shot "lol"... Great information glad you guys had a great time. Really enjoyed the video. Keep it up guys and ride safe.
Glad you enjoyed it! You too!
Snow on the ground in Jersey
And the UK!
And NY upstate
Same in NM.
Bike description was great.
CVO: haaaaa
107: ja ja ja
😆👍🏽
Ya! Juan! The underdog wins!🎉🎉
For now he does...
@THRASHIN hells, yeah! That sounds like the race is on.🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🤙
Such a cool segment looks like a lot of fun!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice video , I'm rooting for Juan
jaun pulling away the whole time anyway, doesnt matter about the start even, I'm impressed how much that bike pulls away sheesh
Us too!
Awesome video guys loved track footage as always Thrashing doesn’t disappoint
Glad you enjoyed it!
It be nice to test out Stg 1 off the shelf tune and then custom stage1 vs Juan's cammed 107
Glad to know what my 2022 107 can be when it grows up with cams lol
Do it!
I highly recommend new cams. I have a 2011 96”. With new cams and only slip ons my hp and torque numbers are just above stock 107 numbers.
Totally awesome
This is top notch entertainment
Glad you liked it!
Yeah, I'm fairly certain no modular helmets have Snell rating.
Also, Juan's extra 10 hp really shows up on the big end. Gonna win every time.
For now he will... soon he won't...
Gotta bring the 131 LRST now
Soon!
we need the carbon ST vs juans bike next
Maybe soon!
Love it. I’ve got a cammed 107”, my buddies stock 117” can’t catch me.
in the 70's Bell was the only helmet with Snell approval . .edit: what a fun video loved it! thx
Glad you enjoyed it!

Also this was a great episode !!!! I felt the excitement 😂😂
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video guys and btw y'all make a great team together
Appreciate that!
That was a fun video.. Thanks Guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lovin the interaction with the police.
Gotta stay on good terms with them!
You guys should bring back the blue mechanics jacket 🙏🙏🙏🙏
You'll have to wait and see!
Thrashing drag parts coming? I CANNOT WAIT!!
Who knows!
@@THRASHIN you SOB’s! I AM IN!
Way to go Juan.

Any news on motor prts for the new Cvo 121
We'll have updates soon!
Sweet Falcon!!
I feel like launching with the cable clutch too helps. The hydraulic clutch is sort of unpredictable at times.
We noticed this too!
Good work men!!
So how much of a diff did the cable an hydraulic clutch make on the bikes? Which one was better 🤘🛵
It was noticeable for sure. We liked the feeling of the cable more than the hydraulic clutch for racing but the hydraulic feels better for cruising for sure.
I lik how u rented the helmets but used ur own still lol
Yeah I noticed that too lol
Haha
Shhhh...
Lance with the hole shot!
Well you know what we all want now ?! .. full drag build …. Do it!
hahaha the fire has been lit
