    The reason why I stopped riding with other people is because they all speed. I'm done with that. I have so much more pleasure taking my time and enjoying the scenery and bike. There's a time and place for 170MPH, it's called a "track". Yes, I also ride a ZZR1400. 🇬🇧

    • @paulkmaster3231

      Yes I can understand that very much that’s why I have a Harley Streetglide Special as well. It’s by far my slowest bike but the pleasure I get from it just enjoying the wind the scenery that Vtwin rumble is the best therapy for me. If I could only have one bike out of my three the 2020 ZX14r the 2020 Vmax or the 2018 Streetglide Special it would be the Streetglide. It would be safer too

      @@paulkmaster3231 We have two bikes of the same! I own a 2011 VMAX unrestricted, 2022 ZX14r and a 2022 Triumph Rocket 3R Black edition. I traded my bagger for the ZX14r, I had a 2011 Vulcan Vaquero custom. The ZX14r is my very first sport bike and I am very happy with the trade. If you have not done so, have your VMAX ECU flashed, it turns a beast into a bigger beast! Less engine braking, more power, and removes the speed limiter. I got mine up to 168mph and backed off, just did it to see if it went past 148mph. It scared me a little because at 168mph it was begging for more. I was impressed with how well the bike handled at that speed.

      @@rocket3man371 that is awesome!!! Thank you for sharing my friend. The ZX14r is the most thrilling bike I ever owned I don’t think I would ever want more power than that bike has. Unfortunately my Vmax gets the least amount of seat time between my Harley Streetglide special for cruising
      And ZX14r for thrilling.

    How is it holding up? I just looked at one and fell in love. It's a 2022 with m4 carbon exhaust. I thought the bike was perfect for my riding style. Is the reliability there? I've read nothing but great things about the new Zx14.

    Is the seating position on this bike too aggressive for.daily driving?

    • @paulkmaster3231
      @paulkmaster3231  19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Well it’s way more comfortable than all the smaller super sport bikes and the first and second gen Hayabusas. It’s not as comfortable as the Concours or FJ1300’s but pretty close in comfort to a VFR1200. Specifically the handlebars are higher and rear pegs not too far back as compared to most super sports. If you’re doing commuting it’s comfy enough. If I do 150 plus miles in one shot i gotta take a quick break off the bike which i normally fill up at about 125-135 miles anyways. Longer rides than that luckily I have my Harley Streetglide for that. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      @paulkmaster3231 thanks for the reply. Rode a s1000 rr (modified foot peg for my 6ft 4 Mongolian body) after 100 miles my biggest complaint was wrist pain and then actively trying to sit up more was the solution but a problem all at the same time

      @@XyilerI am Asian too I’m Japanese but quite a bit shorter than you I’m almost 6 ft at 5’11. Taller people are more comfortable on the ZX14R because it’s a big bike and the rider triangle is not aggressive for a sport bike. Also you can buy bar risers for less than $50 on amazon or eBay that bring up the clip on bars 1”-2”. I would get the 1-1/4” risers because if you get higher than that the front brake reservoir will touch the fairing/windshield on full lock turns if I remember correctly. I had them on my 2020 ZX14r and they were great and should help get even more weight off your wrists. I can’t check because the ZX14r in this video got totaled in the parking lot at my job 😢.
      I wasn’t on it when it was hit by a hit and run driver. The good news is my insurance company covered the whole thing!!! I bought another brand new ZX14R the 2024 40th anniversary special which has no modifications done on it yet. How would you compare the zx14 to the VFR1200F? I have a VFR1200F and sometimes wonder if they are somewhat the same besides the power.

    • @paulkmaster3231
      @paulkmaster3231  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Well it’s been awhile since I owned my 2010 VFR1200f..but going from the VFR1200f to the ZX14r I can say I was shocked that I wasn’t blown away by the power difference of the ZX14r vs the VFR1200f. That is a testament to the power of the Vfr1200f..the VFR is more comfortable it just feels nicer seating on especially on longer trips but putting 1 inch risers on the ZX14r greatly improves its comfort..the wind control on the VFR is also better..if you have the factory cases on the VFR they are incredibly useful I wish they made something as slick and practical for the ZX14r.. getting back to the performance however the power difference is noticed when going head to head against other bikes that’s where the ZX14r really shines.. you simply won’t get beat on this beast against almost anything .. I miss my VFR it’s one of the few bikes that’s hard to forget and move on from..in almost every way it’s a better all around bike than the ZX14r but two areas it falls short against the big ZX that’s fuel range and all out acceleration and top speed…the ZX14r gets about the same fuel mileage per mile but has a giant fuel tank 5.8 gals almost 22 liters it’s about the same size as my Harley Streetglide!!! 6.0 gals
      If given the same choice I probably would stick with my ZX14r because I already have a very comfy touring bike albeit not as sporty but it erases miles with ease. The engine is almost as smooth VFR and has almost that same low end and midrange torque as the Vfr that makes it so enjoyable to ride..the driveshaft and single sided swing arm is a beauty and convenience I miss..really just thinking about it really makes me miss it..also the paint finish vs the Kawasaki is no comparison the Honda wins hands down..anyways if you have any questions you can email me anytime my email address is paulk.asemaster@gmail.com

    So, I am interested in this bike. Can anyone say if it is suitable for someone 6'3, 38in inseam, while also being comfy enough for touring? I need a touring bike that can do 150+ mph in an emergency. From what I have read, it is generally good for touring + taller men.

      I have a concours 14 that is modded a bit. Flashed, full exhaust, small windshield. It’s not a zx14r but it is pretty close (+80lbs stock, shaft drive, -35 hp stock, but the torque curve is more suited for the street.) I have ridden across the country on it 3 times and many times from FL up into the mountains and back. My bike has 130k on it and I have replaced the plugs, done 1 valve job at 50k and replaced the fuel pump twice. Great bike for long distance. I’m 6’3 33 inseam as well and feel comfortable all day. I want to get a zx14r and see how different it feels
