    is the m4a1-s overpowered? is the awp overpowered? csgo balance changes i would like to see or changes that valve should make to improve csgo. matchmaking needs to be fixed, the m4a1-s is a bit too strong, and players are saving too much. also s1mple is literally too good at the game.

      So could you introduce a system where the loss money is also depending on how many opponents you kill? Like as a team and not only the individual bonus… could bring forward more aggressive play and make teams more hungry for money. Will make saving your weapon less viable. :)
      Also to the AWP, you could increase the ADS time, so that it isn’t instant. This way, the AWP becomes more of a sniper than an agressive oneshot weapon. So promote holding angles/more passive play as an awper :)

      I've been working on a gun balancing mod. To keep people from buying the auto snipers and mowing down everyone, I significantly reduced the rate of fire down to 160 rounds per minute (which is more in line with DMRs from other games) so at least it gives players a fair amount of time to kill or trade.
      Lots of other changes like slight decreases on FAMAS and MP7 prices, and a very slight damage increase to the deagle (base from now 52 to 55) so shots from a medium range will only consistently need three bullets to kill instead of hitting for ~96 in 3 before dying. I also think the p250 should be $200 so that players can always buy it and have a chance to get a kill without 2-3 headshots.

    One alternative to save penalties is give CTs more money per kill once a bomb has been planted. This incentives action but doesn't disadvantage the Ts any more than saving does

      Good idea. I hate that even if we win after retake and i have bought my bank empty i have barely enough money for m4 no armour :D

    Kit at $200 also makes retakes slightly more viable on average, which wouldn't be a bad thing.

    Yo, so since the CT win percentage and the T win percentage are complementary, you could have used just the CT win % pre and post M4 buff on the same graph, omitting T win. It would have been easier to see the diference

    I actually like the random spawns. It adds forced adaptiveness and unpredictable timings. If it was known when the b player would get a spawn, then the opportunity to use it is taken away

      Not sure about pro-scene, but for ranked MM it sucks, because you may be unlucky to be spawning in bad spots the entire match (has happened to me way too many times... like not having a good spawn for A long in dust2 as Terrorist)
      It could be pseudo-random though, that would be slightly better

      In 1.6 you were able to call a b rush with a 75% succesrate. If ct were spawned on a line, every t were spawned close to b

    I really like the idea of having the majors at the end of the season. It just makes more sense. I'd also like to see a maprotation with different maps cycling in and out even if there without any changes.

      i kinda disagree with this one, major is like a big deal for the pro scene having it after the player break gives them more time to regain some form, think of new strats, to analyze the demos of other teams and give them a better chance of winning a major.

    I think making kit $200 would also potentially make saves less common. Easier to rebuy them and if more people can have them, better chance of actually being able to win the round.

      I don't think a kit being $400 is the reason why people save. I think it's because certain bomb sites are impossible to retake if you're at a 1 player disadvantage. Especially teams that love to save AWP

    Let us buy either m4 during a match. Also 100% first bullet accuracy to make this game a little less random and a bit more consistent. 100% first bullet accuracy also buffs T side a bit making ak's deadlier with perfect aim rewarding good aimers. This would bring rifles up closer to awps, and good rifle aimers could compete for being a top player alongside awpers.

      lmfao, you can already beam people with the mp9 across half the entire playable area
      i was able to do it regularly for abit against full kevlar, you can even see it in the CHAOS games on mirage, i couldn't imagine what perfect first shot accuracy would be like, and personally i appreciate the complexity of effective engagement distances and the increasing randomness associated with being outside that area

      @@tyleralan1470 Would you rather be 2 tapped by a tec 9 now from that distance knowing it was completely random or while knowing it took actual aim from other player? The game is far less frustrating when you feel like you were actually outplayed and didnt die to something based on pure luck... Plus this is only for 1st bullet accuracy, the odds of a 2nd shot landing perfectly too is low.
      Besides, you would also have the same advantage of having 100% first bullet accuracy, so really it would come down to who has the better aim instead of right now where it feels like both players just tap tap away and pray to god the game registers a random headshot for you.
      Pistols could also be balanced by giving them lower damage numbers to compensate for higher accuracy too...

    How about there is a "save money pool" that gets divided between all alive players of the losing team? This wouldn't hurt a solo save, but surely prevent 4ppl saving.

      ​@@ZachDxn When you lose a round everyone gets the same lose money: 1400 + lose streak bonus regardless of how many players saved. If 5 people saves you get 7000+ in total currently and plus the equipment you saved from the previous round. He is suggesting that this 7000+ is too much and should be lowered if more people saves. For example let's say 3 CTs are saving, he is suggesting that rather than everyone getting 1400 they should divide the capped 1400 into 3 and each gets 500 or something. If 1 person saves then it is ok he still get's the same money as everyone else but if 4 people saves then they lose a lot of money

      The reason people save is to save equipment and weapons for the following round. I don't see how a survivor bonus would make people risk their equipment on a retake, because it's only paid out (in your case) if they survive and LOSE the round.
      Imo, if it was to be fixed with an alternative extra income method, it would have to be a death bonus for CT's. You go into the next round with more money if you die, than if you live = You split round loss into a certain payout and an on death payout. That means it's less punishing to die, and less important to save. It's very close to how T's don't get any money if they survive a round without a bomb plant, but it's the only solution I can see to nudge people into retakes rather than saving. But it would also have to be modest, so you can't just throw yourself at every bomb plant without a net negative loss in equipment.
      Example: Splitting a 1400 loss bonus 50/50: 700 guaranteed loss bonus, and 700 extra only on death.
      This was quickly brain stormed, so there's definitely negatives in this method, so feel free to point them out.

      @@ZachDxn but that was the point, though. Making sure CT saves are only worth it when really necessary. And 3 or 4 CTs saving doesn't seems necessary from the eyes of the public/audience. However, letting 1 or 2 CTs save in a vs 5 Situation still needs to be a thing.

    The way to solve the problem of pros always saving is to make retakes easier by map design. You can also have bombsites where the CTs can hang around even if they lose the site itself. That way, even if the bomb is planted, the CTs don't lose control and can get a couple of kills to initiate the retake. This is what happens in Vertigo A and Ancient A as an example. Which shows that the designers have taken this approach in their more recent maps.

    I would love a lot more map variety in MM. I miss ~2014-2015 matchmaking which had Office, Italy, Assault, Militia, Agency and Aztec. So much fun to queue all the lesser played maps. Or have all the active duty maps plus something like office, and have everyone freak out that they actually managed to get an office match. There's a lot of problems with MM right now but for me it just seems stale.

      This to me just makes it seem like you never learned other maps where as other people never learned the maps you mentioned. Of course you would be having more fun on those maps when you sweat them out and play against people that are just thinking what the fuck the whole time when you're shooting them from a clapped angle.

      @@ewanm8995 I know most of the main defuse maps, Dust 2, Mirage, Cobble, Cache. They just aren't nearly as fun as office to me. I don't like lurking very much, and you can't really lurk on Office like you can on defuse maps.

    This one is more of a personal thing, though it's not balance related:
    Red outlines on visible enemies, or better visibility at least. I've generally always had a hard time picking players out from the background (no I'm not colorblind) and this would be very much appreciated. It would also mean that custom player models wouldn't matter as much since everyone would have a red outline around them.
    A similar thing for smokes, and dust from HEs and molotovs: It would be nice if there was a more clear contrast between what's see-through and what isn't. This is something that valorant got right with its smokes. You're either visible or you aren't, and the angles are extremely clean.

      Red outlines is such a crutch, reduces skill. I had the same problem when i was first playing the game, but now I don’t so I don’t think it’s that much of a real issue

    Go back to classic warmup, change the join window during warmups from 5 minutes down to 1-2 minute, actually penalize griefers and throwers more. Those small things would vastly improve the MM experience.

      This might be controversial but also change the buy time, make it 5 seconds shorter. I hate sitting in spawn every single round. This incentivises MM players to actually use timeouts instead of using them to grief.

    Imo if they're added option to choose between m4s, cz/57/tec9, mp5/7 in game, not being stick to your "loadout". I think it will be good idea especially for eco pistol rounds, depending on what I wanna do I'll choose 57/tec9 or CZ

    10:25 In CSS, although the spawn points were random, they had the same pattern. As in you got spawned randomly but it was the same for both teams. So if you spawned in a certain location, the enemy player will spawn at the same spot they did the last time you got that spawn, well the entire server. So even if the pattern wasn't the same as the previous, and the location you spawned in the enemy player spawned at the same spot as well. So if you got a certain spawn point, you could be sure if b player on dust had a good b spawn or not.

    For the spawns, CSGO can learn a bit from Valorant. Allow the players to move around INSIDE the designated spawn area, not like Valorant where you can run to either side of the map, but just within the buy area of spawn. Teams can buy within the 15 seconds and set up perfectly for any set up they would like to run.

      I liked that system in the beginning, but the problem is it incentivizes too many plays based on timings. Remember how effective some wallbangs were on Cache? You could just aim at a certain spot and shoot at a certain time to have a high chance to kill someone because of the bottleneck in the spawn that meant there was someone on the other side almost always. With the Valorant system there is no almost. If you take the perfect route you know there's gonna be someone shooting at you at 1:51.

      The random spawns add such a nice variation to the game and matches and how it's played. It gets extremely stale when you go the exact same path every round and have the exact same timings. It also increases the skill ceiling considering you have to be aware of possible timings based on spawns so you don't get caught off-guard. And yes I sunk like 300 hours into Valorant in 2 months when it was new.

    Priority spawns in all maps. Vertigo and Ancient in competitive only have 6 possible spawns, the time differences are minimal.
    Dust2 on the other hand has so many T sided spawns you can get like a 4 second difference.

      yeah I referenced this when talking on stream tbh I'm not sure if I like priority spawns entirely (and I'm not sure 3KP even thinks that based on the way he talked in his video). I think having differentiated spawns makes the game more interesting, adds variety, and adds complexity and I'd rather have them than not. Dust2's problem IMO is that some spawns are just SO much better than others. if for example B was as effective to hit off of good B spawns as A is to hit off of good A spawns, it wouldn't really be that bad to me. A spawns are just insanely good and B spawns are kinda semi useless

    People always complain about new maps on mm but when they release people dont play it.
    Maps needs some changes to be more balanced , if people dont play it enough it wont stay in the rotation.

      There honestly would not be more tactical depth because both teams followed the same pattern. Would be easy to figure out like ”wow he got to the corner on long so quick, must’ve had this spawn and will have again in 4 rounds”. just avoid it next time. Or use it every other round you know they do not have a long spawn.

    Love the idea of cl_minmodels. I think it still allows you to show off your custom player models, while maintaining competitiveness by not showing your opponent's custom playermodels. cl_minmodels would probably only make your team's equipped agents visible (if they have any equipped).
    The part where the A4 and A1-S (at their current state) must swap prices is kinda reminiscent of the M4 from the good old days of 1.6 and Source, costing $3100 and having a silencer. Odd that it has less bullets, but would be a nice change to nerf the CT side a bit.
    The FAMAS is this shit. I don't even have skins equipped for it. The spray pattern is scuffed, not to mention the MP9 (with the benefit of smgs and shotguns being the higher kill reward). I would honestly prefer a Bizon over a FAMAS. It definitely needs a buff to help it compete with the SMGs while not being stronger than the other rifles.
    I used to play 1.6 back in the day when I was a kid (and I still do) and defuse kits there were 50% cheaper than they are in CS:GO. Since they were affordable, you can still be able to buy them even if you lost the pistol round on CT side. For the price of $200 you have an easier opportunity to win the round. $200 defuse kits would definitely be a good change to the CT economy, especially since their guns (especially rifles) and mollies are much more expensive than what the Ts have.

      Im definitely in the minority, but I actually really like enemy agent skins, despite the fact i will occasionally miss somebody who blends into the background very well.
      Enemy agent skins can give you a lot of info, for example, you could be holding an angle and you see somebody jiggle. Then you see another skin jiggle, you have only seen 1 guy on your screen, but can definitively say that there are 2 people there.

    Cheaters banned is not a good metric for measuring cheaters you've played against. There are many cheaters who are simply never banned outside of a serious VAC wave.

    The spawn thing was great in source and as you said you'd only notice it on a very high level, but it was a nice element to be able to calculate what time someone is crossing a certain place or what round a team might rush a certain site.

      it's because there aren't enough ranks playing or they play premade. i was waiting for almost 40 minutes to get a game. eventually i went to looking for option and got into DMG/gold nova game as silver 2. i managed to stay in the middle of the table. but that is not the point. the point is they too were waiting for a long time to get a game, so they just randomly pulled in some people to get a 5 stack. when i went unranked i could get a game in 30 seconds up to a minute. but there is way more kids there. i don't mind to much, you just need to expect the will be running arround and talk loudly (there is a mute button for that). ranks are messed up and ranked matches are strangely hard to get now that operation has winded down. before in december and even at the start of this month i could get a ranked game in minute or two as well.

    Kind of a weird one but I wish there was a callvote to forfeit rounds. Like pistol saves where everyone just rushes something. You could call a round forfeit and it would give the other team the round win and you the loss bonus

    Regarding your pistol round suggestion: that actually sounds pretty interesting. If they bump the P250 to 350 then the T's would still have to choose weaponry or utility and a 50$ change shouldn't really be noticable the rest of the time.

    These are my suggestions:
    [Match Making]
    - Add a level or progress bar so you will know when will you rank up or down similar to Valorant. Because I hate winning 3 games and just lose 1 and it will instantly derank me.
    - Scrap the 360 Stats monthly subscription concept and revamp the Premier MM system. They should make Premier MM into a monthly subscription similar to the 360 Stats. You can play in 128 tick servers, you will also have access to the 360 Stats, and you will only players who are also paid the subscription. Sounds familiar? It's because it's basically Faceit or ESEA, because alot of my friends don't want to play on third-party clients, I don't know why...? But I understand them.
    [Weapons]
    - Buff the M4A4. Because many people are using the M4A1-S and from my opinion and experience it kinda lowered the skill-ceiling of the game.
    - Buff the CZ-75 Auto, because it was nerfed to the grown and since then no one uses that gun anymore, I missed the gun so much.
    But I don't agree on nerfing the AWP. As a rifler, I can easily beat AWPers. You already have smokes, flashes and mollys to out stand an AWPer. But nerfing the gun it will totally ruin CS:GO, similar to the M4A4-S crisis.
    - Nerf the Scout. Because that sniper rifle has crazy movement speed and crazy accuracy, even in no scopes. From a cheap price, you can buy it even in eco rounds, and getting tagged by on is like a death sentence.
    [Miscellaneous]
    - Fix the spawn positions. I hate it when I spawn far away from my teammates, others may say that it's a good thing so they can easily either site much more quicker but for me it's just BS RNG. Just change the fixed spawn positions and make it you can run around and chose your own postion to rush/push, and add a timer barrier similar from Valorant. I honestly think Valve will be adding this feature in a operation. You heard I here first boys.
    So yeah these are my suggestions man, feel free share and express yours.

    I feel like indicating how much money you will get at minimum (unless u save) as well as adding the ability to sell back during buy time, both like val does, would help making the game more beginner friendly (and avoiding such things as losing rounds because of a missbuy).

    I would like to see a buff in the CT reward for defusing the bomb to $500-800 maybe even higher. Lower price for the defuse kit to $200-$300 would also encourage CTs to retake without Buffing the side. Also we could also add maybe 5 more seconds to the bomb timer, it is very tricky to buff Retakes for CTs without also Buffing that side of csgo. This maybe calls for a economy overhaul but I don't think its necessary yet.

      This whole issue is pretty much self made tho. If they didnt change loss bonus and def kit price, people would save less. If they hadnt made smokes so ridiculously bad, Ts would have a harder time holding off a retake. Then come mollies, also take more time out of a retake.
      At which point does it start getting ridiculous adding more and more bombtime? We already added TEN seconds a few years ago, which was basically a big big hint that something deeper was going wrong. Imho 1.6 had a much better balance and MANY changes/inventions of CSS/GO were not for the better. Cycled spawns probably were tho.

      @@Zoddom i think the way utility and bomb time are adds more variety to the way retakes work, but also pre-plants: fake or mid-round too much as a T and you won't have as much utility to deter the CT aggression post-plant. You also have to pay more attention to not dying, which is a form of skill in itself.

      @@omster_ ct's already get a bonus for defusing. They get $3250 for winning by time or kills, and $3500( +$300 for defuser) for defusing the bomb.
      So the entire team gets a total of $1550 extra for defusing the bomb vs killing / time. Maybe this could be buffed slightly, as the majority of the time CTs win by defuse, some will have died and will need to rebuy.
      Maybe 3600 as a team reward, as it will still allow you to buy armour + m4 at a bare minimum

      I will never understand this nerf. It was super rare to see some one win a duel with 2 shots from a deagle to the body. Not only is the fire rate too slow, the hit reg a joke and the recoil random, the accuracy would make it super hard to achieve specially at long range. Some maps force you to take duels against rifles and awps from afar, the deagle was a good value pistol for the T´s to use, so they could peek at long distances and actually get a kill or at least do proper damage. Now with the nerf there´s literally no point in buying it, you can basically only aim for the head, and even then you will miss it cause first bullet Inaccuracy is a thing. I understand having Inaccuracy in some weapons, but a pistol like the deagle that has so many cons against it, deserves to be first shot accurate. CS has a lot of rng already, and MM servers are the biggest offenders of this with hits being registered on client side but not server side.

    I found myself agreeing with just about everything except when it comes to pistol rounds. That's just because I love the chaos of pistol rounds. Though I would definitely be one to default buying p250 and armor though if the was such a bump in starting money.

    I feel that valorants OT system is way better than the one in cs. It's just first team to win 2 rounds in a row. You start with 5k and you have to win a round on attack and defense. I really don't see the point in 4 round wins in OT.

    Not to mention M4a1-S' massive amount of bullets, allowing for the OP spraying through smokes without tracers. Limit the mag so spraying through smokes isnt unpunishable for cts.

    I feel like what is really missing is clarity.
    I appreciate that not telling the public about any impending changes is the "valve way" and it's how they've always done it BUT things have also changed dramatically since they started. Ideally there would be a team in place who are available to respond to any queries as soon as they come up. They should engage with the fans and top players and make adjustments to the game accordingly. Frustratingly, the majority of the big issues surrounding the game could be resolved if the developers sat down with the concerned parties and made changes. Or even acknowledged that certain parts aren't working.
    It's incredible to me that this is the most popular e-sport, yet nobody knows what the next update will bring. You're talking about huge uncertainties over people's professions due to valve being too self absorbed to expand on the service that they are delivering. I can't imagine how many people would jump at the chance to take over all CS:GO media duties from valve, the majority would probably even do it for free. Yet we are left to look at a joke of a twitter page for any 'updates'. This is unbelievably disrespectful to the fanbase of so many years. If Valve can't be bothered implement a more open door policy, then I urge them to recruit someone who is passionate about it. Enough is enough! We deserve more!

    for the 'fix too much saving issue.' I like SPUNJ's idea of expanding bomb blast radius and blast damage. CT's will still save in unfavorable situations but may also elect to punish T's by containing them within the site to have them eliminated by bomb blast and doing economic damage. Saves would still happen, but round endings would still have some watchability.

      I feel like the problem with that idea is that it would make ninja defusing too easy. Since the T's would have to start running from the site much earlier to stay alive, the ct's can find an opening with more time to defuse since the T's are likely long gone by the time the defuse starts

      @@aura809 I think the saving is inevitable.. this at least serves to create meaningful post-plants in obvious save situations. The 40 seconds in a 5v3 post plant may no longer be dead air, but instead watching how CT's setup to punish T's exiting site. Saving isn't a problem (imo), it's that the 40 secs during a save is boring/unwatchable, this aims to remedy that problem.

Additionally, it puts the onus on the T's to clear out surroundings upon exiting or risk a man going down by keeping him close to site. Either way, the goal is to make obvious save situations more watchable. A bigger bomb radius encourages the likelihood of more tactics, engagements, and gunfights in post plant situations, which is a better viewer experience.

    I think they could improve pistol rounds by changing pistol running accuracy. To me the main reason pistol is so random and not fun is that pistols are too accurate while running which leads to a lot of full sprint spamming hoping to hit a headshot. I also like the 950 starting cash as well if you tack on a $50 price nerf to the p250 and duallies to keep them from being buyable with armor. You can still have 1 person double drop, but that's already viable with the current system.

    The most important change for me right now would be the minmodel change. I play low res so a lot of agents blend in way too much and i dont think its that bad on 1920 but i dont want to be forced to play that res just cause Valve brings in pay to win skins. After that i think the 1400$ loser bonus should be deleted. You lose too much money when you have low loser bonus so you have to save more and you just have one round where you basically have to force or double eco. Also the awp is imo a bit too strong right now. Maybe slowing the awp a bit more might do a good job i think awps are too strong in retaking angles and shotgun awping is a bit too strong aswell. You basically play close range with an awp and you have the best shotgun in the game cause it actually kills things when you hit something. Strafing into angles with an unscoped awp is really fast so people cant really do anything against it other than praying it will miss. Also fuck pistol rounds they are completely random and no one can change my mind about that. You roll the dice and get 3 free rounds for it. I had enough games where i lost the pistol and the 2 rounds after and then won 12 straight rounds because the enemies were actually shit without RNG

    So could you introduce a system where the loss money is also depending on how many opponents you kill? Like as a team and not only the individual bonus… could bring forward more aggressive play and make teams more hungry for money. Will make saving your weapon less viable. :)
    Also to the AWP, you could increase the ADS time, so that it isn’t instant. This way, the AWP becomes more of a sniper than an agressive oneshot weapon. So promote holding angles/more passive play as an awper :)

    great video! About your idea of bringing back cycling spawns: If (like you said as an example) you could tell that somebody had a good timing and deducted from that, that 5 rounds later they would have this good spawn again, doesnt this effect get diminished by the fact that the player who gets this good spawn is still random?
    And then also, just because people have a good spawn, it doesn't mean the other player will take advantage of that good spawn again. There is too much uncertainty to predict with all the other factors in play.
    In my opinion the only thing this would do is this:
    Let's say you're playing on Window CT side Mirage. If you got peeked very early by a T on mid, you could from that point be sure that nobody will appear like that for 4 rounds. So you could peek top mid from the left side, jump down and push up or push under. This shows, that this change would (in my opinion) only help CTs, since they are the ones posted on angles waiting for Ts. There are very rarely scenarios where a good CT spawn leads to something unpredictable from them.

    to solve ct saving too much:: they recieve half// three quarters of round money for the next round. ct players who save still get a bit of money for next round but gives a little more incentive to go for clutches.

    I supposed to be an AWPer but M4A1-s feels so powerful and easy to use at the moment that I prefer it when not super confident with AWP. You can't nerf AWP much or it will become unusable. But one thing I'd like to see is making noscopes a lot more inaccurate. Not a big change but it will make AWP harder to play for example when preventing rushes (getting multikills harder) and it will punish your bad positioning a little bit more.

    AWP nerf: make it inaccurate when (fully) flashed. It would mostly benefit T side but also make retaking easier. And as a bonus I wouldn't tilt as much for getting killed by full blind awper hitting a lucky timing.
    Stats: Now the stats are all about kills and K/D. It would be good to put the emphasis on impact - kinda like leetify rating. Show stats on maybe entry frags or kills that turn the odds of a round around. I think this would make people play more for the round win and not just for kills - we've all had that guy in our team who sits in T spawn with his awp as a last man alive, kills couple hunting CTs and thinks he's the best because he has the most kills.

      The 2nd point of yours always crosses my mind, specially considering that the in game scoreboard doesn't care at all about deaths when calculating a player's score. A small change which would be a significant improvement would be adding 1 point to a player's score for either "every round/every won round" that he survives. In CS, not dying is about as important for winning as killing, and because 2 points are awarded for a kill, it's only fair that at least 1 point is awarded for surviving

    my suggestion is that if a clutch situation is won, the winning team should be awarded bonus 200$? for example when Ts lose a player quickly, if they can eliminate the whole enemy team or win on bomb, give them 200$ to each player?

    I agree with the price switch up of m4a4 and m4a1-s, then put them both available for the CT side, and yeah I remember the R8-revolver existed and kinda abusing it nowadays because it is still busted (2 shots to the body and the damage is like you are using a scout no matter how far you are against armored peeps you deal 70+ damage to them) and is a better option for me than the deagle for now.

    One cool thing id like is giving the Ts another pistol and rifle like the CTs have, Suppressed Tokorav and a Suppressed AK-74. The glock feels so insane when you just spam it and it has 18 rounds so having a more accurate and hard hitting pistol would benifit certain playstyles on T and hopefully stop the usp pick ups every time. the 74 would be a faster firing 2 tap gun with similar spray like the 47. Just something id like in the game

    Idea about the saving situation: equally to T's surviving after not having planted the bomb get no money, the CT's should get only half (or even none) of the money IF the bomb has actually been planted and they survive the blast. Incentive to retake, even for Jame. Or their loss bonus gets reset or sth similar.

    About the circular spawn thing, i think they should just add a spawn barrier like Valorant, but the barrier is still around CT spawn and T spawn so there is no such thing as one guy having a bad spawn every round.

    the map pool consists of 3 maps, Inferno, Overpass and Dust2/Mirage count for me as 1, residentsleeper pugging maps, Inferno and Overpass are goat, maybe -vertigo or -ancient and +train, cobblestone wasnt that bad tbh

    I find the spawns to be a bit of RNG that's still randomly fun while not being incredibly broken. Its a small temporary advantage that doesn't break the game (except for Dust 2 long spawns, though its unlikely to never get a workable long spawn every so often)
    Speaking of tactics, I feel that cycled spawns could potentially make the game more static/stale. Like if you're on CT Mirage and you don't get one of the three god window spawns, that's not round-losing on its own since there are still other valuable spawn points and ways to support the guy with the bad spawn like flashes.
    Not knowing where you'll spawn and using the freeze time to work off that is fine to me.
    In the case of T side Dust 2 though, the spawn lottery could be improved by cutting a few of crappy spawns that dont favor B, A or even the jump down to spot middle cross.

      I like the idea of kit being 300 or 350 to make them more possible to buy but not so affordable that a CT may never have a kit. Droppable kits would be a sneaky busted buff for CT side.
      Pistol round is fine even if it is stale and random, especially in current economy where second and third-round force buy wins can make pistol round matter much less. No more 1400 loss bonus seems like a good idea to me considering the force buy wars that turn the econ upside down.

    You could divide the loss bonus with players left alive at the end of the round. So the impact of four player save would be much less.

    the thing about those dust2 spawns is they're actually bugged, you're always supposed to spawn in the same 5 places on CT side but if you restart the game (for example to make a match go live like many servers do), the game ignores the prioritised spawns because they've already been "used", and instead puts you into the other spawns that are only meant to be used in casual. You can see this yourself by launching an offline game with bots, at the very start of the round you all spawn in the correct place and if you restart the match during buy time you all get put into random spawns. This is only a thing that happens when restarting a match during buy time, it's not an intended thing and it's a side effect of how going live works

    When you rank depending on your match performance and not wins or loses and they stop averaging the ranks in game it might be more balanced

    in mm (matchmaking) i would like to be able to win a game or lose not draw i think thats also kind of an annoying aspect to me, making the m4a1 cost more money could be a good idea but for me personally i would go with the cheaper one (if valve decides to flip the prices) i like that idea of dropping a kit that could be useful similar to dropping nades & other utility what about a new version of cs? csgo 2 or something that could be insane as well but than wtf would they add to the new game ya know?

    - Mappool needs 9 Maps, decider in BO3 is randomly picked out of the remaining 3.
    Its booring to see Inferno, Mirage and D2 played every game. There were great maps in the Game allready. Bring back cbble, bring back season if you have too.
    - casual Game mode gets thrown out and replaced by non ranked mm 5v5. Also oldschool Maps get brought back for that gamemode only.
    Italy, Aztec. Community Competition with 100k for the bester Mapper.
    Gameplay :
    - A1 / A4 Priceswap i agree with 100%
    - CT Loadout accepts all CT main rifles on all slots so people can choose 3 out of Famas, A1, A4, AUG they.

    - No loss Bonus increase for CT saves. (you safe, your Lossbonus stays at what it was)

    Man when you were talking about the awp nerf, I was like no that wld kill the weapon usage, but honestly the 5 mag capacity just makes sense. When was the last time anyone had to reload the damn thing, basically never. When I first played valorant this was the first thing I thought was good, the op only has 5 bullets. Good players will capitalise on the 5 bullets, and it would also create a window when the player is forced to reload.

    Double M4s, m4a4 to 3k or 2.9k. Kit to 300 or 350 is fine, 200 is far far too cheap and makes CT retakes a lot stronger when economy is not that strong. 1 reason Valve doesn't change too many things at 1 go is the unintended balances (eg aim to buff t side but many changes result in ct buff instead?)
    Awp has no issue. Saving is the mode of play due to CT equipment being more expensive.
    Famas deserve a proper buff. It's shit

    Maybe 2x or 1.5x kill reward after the bomb goes down would incentivise both teams to go for it more often, if cts are saving your mac and galil players would gain a lot by hunting, if youre a ct you can kill t eco whilst getting a good return for yourself even tho you might lose.

    The skins definately should be changed to default for enemies and also the awp magazine to 7bullets perhaps? And also the movement spread for pistols should be way higher so there wont be bullsht lucky headshots ^^

    I had the 6k OT thought too. What I also thought though was if you start each round with nothing regardless if you survived the previous or not. No CT sided AKs, no saving, no economy build up. You don't get the mid auto snipers and you don't get jame time. Double awp is a risk as you'll be light on utility but still doable. The only bad thing I see from it are the no CT aks but the A1s is so strong now anyway who cares.

    Money for A1s and A4 needs to be changed.
    Ability to disable enemy skins needs to be added.
    Less RNG in spawns will increase skill ceiling.
    I never understood 10 shots in the AWP with such a small mag it doesn't even look like you could fit 10 rounds in there. I rarely have to even reload with it either unless I'm spamming. Five shot AWP mag would be the only nurf I can agree with.

    A team playing double AWP consistently won't do well.
    A team playing no AWP won't do well.
    The AWP is pretty much perfect as it is. It has to be significantly better than other guns in certain situations, that's the entire point.

      Don´t really agree, double awping was once common in Tier 1 teams so it´s really more of a recent change that the secondary awper role is getting killed. Some teams prefer to keep only one awp on their arsenal so they don´t make the mistake of giving a free one to the enemy, since we have a lot of amazing awpers now a days that can break a game with it, and the economy would be harder to manage. But this is mostly on Pro level, in MM dual awp is kinda broken. On some maps you get a lot of CT´s buying dual awps and spamming the shit out of the smokes and baiting each other, even if they only get a leg shot, a simple nade to your face will insta kill you.

    For pistol rounds; What if you are given a 50% body armor at the start of the round. p250 for most (maybe all) T but some utility on all players + CT's get more utility to counter. can't buy helmet due to 50% armor. Could be that starting $ should be balanced a little in this scenario.

    I think with saves, keep lose bonuses to an extent but remove money for every person that saves (either CT only or both)
    E.G minus $100 for each person who saves.
    Or change it to stagger like :
    1 person saving : - $100
    2 people saving : - $250
    3 people saving : - $500
    4 people saving : - $1000
    Full team save (lolwut) : - $1500 (obvs no money for 1 round loss )
    Or this could be calculated by minusing a fraction of the next round loss money depending on how many have saved
    E.G. from one person saving to five :
    - 1/10, - 1/6, - 1/4, - 1/3, - 1/2 (rounded down to nearest hundred or fifty)
    This way a 4 person CT save on a 2 loss bonus may look like
    $1900 - $1000 = $900
    Or
    $1900 - (1900/3) = approx $1300 for next round.
    [obvs this variables would/could be changed to account for balance]
    That way a whole team save probably wouldn't happen and a save would be something to evaluate in game depending on context of the current situation.
