    Even pros do this, especially someone like Grim but on ct sides. He will often wide swing into 3 opponents, kill one and get instantly traded. He probably developed this issue in the early days where he would probably get all 3 because his mechanics are ridiculous. But against tier 1 it just doesnt work.

      Not just strategy but personal peeks and personal decision making. It's just god awful. Whenever the MM system decides to que me and my friends up against LEMS or LEs, or even DMGs ( we are all global ), it's so clear that they dont necessarily shoot horribly but they make peeks and decisions and hold angles that make them EASY targets compared to even your average global.

    best example of this is a deaf guy I used to play with - he was around lvl 4-5 faceit and used to be able to 100 kills in aim_botz in 45-50 seconds. We used to watch him as he clutched and if the enemy peeked into him he'd win 90% of duels. However there were countless times where the enemy would make noise, or pull the pin on a flash or even start spraying at the guy and he'd just be shiftwalking around completely oblivious while we're all desperately trying to type info to him. No joke if this guy could hear he could be 3000 elo - we once played a 10-man on our discord where we turned our game sound off and he got like 35 kills against mostly lvl 8-10 players.

    This is how i try to think of it.
    Work on your aim, as much as you want, get your mechanics up there.
    But DON't rely on it. use your aim to get the initial pick (then stay alive) bail yourself out of bad situations, push confidently when needed etc
    rely on your game knowledge, aim is to take advantage of that/win a higher % of your gunbattles

Soon as I hit around 2.5k elo I was getting shut down basically every round, because my gunfights that I took against these players were just disadvantageous and barely thought through. Good philosophy. Underestimating your opponents is the quickest way to lose a game. People turn off their brains for their aim routine but never remember to turn it back on.

I have terrible util usage so i use this account(which is currently LE while my main is at LEM/supreme) to work on util and deagling... it has helped substantially at my confidence in eco rounds and a little bit to my util but i think the util will only come once my aim isnt enough to outfrag people which I still havent reached yet but I know will come soon... atleast when I start on faceit... As someone doing this on faceit lvl 10 I really struggle with the "keep your gun out" concept, where I in many situations just don't want to pull out utility that could have made the situation easier for me/harder for enemy because I don't want the enemy to get the drop on me. Often dying with around 360$ of utility both CT and T sides. Although the CT side has more to do with not throwing utility out too early, which still results in a similar outcome.
    Not to mention that I do overextend in many situations just like Fala.
    All In all great video voo! Although I did realize I relied on my aim too much before, this helped me realize that my gameplay really is sub-optimal for someone on lvl 10 and really hammered it home.

    as a lvl 10 my biggest rec for this guy would be his movement, half of aiming and fights is putting yourself in the best position possible. he's practically running at them no matter what key he presses so his movement and when he strafes will be hella predictable. mix it up, add extra strafes, walk and crouch peek angles, mix up taking fights wide vs close, jiggle strafe corners, mess with the timing of when you peek. like there's so much you can do and having good aim only makes being a slimy movement player MORE effective.

    This is exactly my MM experience. There are people who are ok overall, but then there are those people that will win a duel against me 100% of the time, yet I am usually able to beat them because I never have to take a straight up duel against them. Interesting part is this is not just a cs thing. LoL game that I was semi pro at has the same exact players. Bonehead mechanical wizards who do everything wrong but somehow it works out for them.

    With the better mechanichs this guy getting 0.0x second advantage everytime. However, except rush rounds, players with the better positioning, nade knowledge and gamesense always kill him because those skills take that time advantage from you.

    I tried to find some arguments for his playstile. He did not duell them in pistol round. He had 2 Teammates at 1:05 and his teamates are really not ready for anything however, look at the third player in front of pit. What was his plan?. At 1:40 he got unlucky. I would say its not common to reagress as CT at this corner(with no flash like this and just swing) because its most of the time suicide. There could be more Ts like him and swing the CT instead. And it cost the chance to win because they did not trade again. Look how far they were spited away from each other. They fight 1 by 1. At 2:50 he heard the scout shot and had a real chance to win the fight. The Scout shoot, he strafes out to catch him of guard after the scout could get a bullet in the chamber. Look how close he missed him. Scout clip was really his fault. Why did you not criticize him when he went out mid at 6:20 ? You most criticize him when he dies. And its easy to say he did only then a mistake when he dies.

    • @sonder006
      @sonder006 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He does explain why the scout battle after the pistol round is bad. Because they have only won the pistol round so far in that half, instead of taking an aim duel that you should only be taking in a more desperate situation to get an advantage, he should have played on a bombsite with the advantage of better guns, utility, and CT side.

    • @tamasberente7740
      @tamasberente7740 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Good points, but I think the second example where the ct repeeked long is not really that weird of a play. He couldn't really do anything else in that situation as the other terrorists were peeking cat and dueling them is a pretty bad fight for a ct rifler. Also the general idea on dust 2 A site on both sides is that if you lose control of either short or long, go back and fight for the other, cause otherwise you can't really win the round. I think this makes it a reasonable play.

    this is literally every player in lvl5-10(up to 2.4k elo) they all have decent aim mostly but have 0 understanding of the game in any other category. Don’t know how to setup teammates with nades, don’t know how to get setup by teammates, doesn’t know how to efficiently tradefrag, doesn’t know how to play proper afterplant or advantages overall by just standing alive etc etc etc. and don’t get started on giving proper information

    I mean, its quite easy to have great aim on lower lvls and extremely easy to hit 40-50 kills on faceit lvl 5's, so i would say that he should work on his both strategies and movement, because as you show in the first clip, in any faceit lvl 7+ he would get insta blasted out of this game by pushing long like that. Other than that i wouldn't say that his aim is amazing. Sure, he has some cool actions but those are just highlights and highlights doesn't win games.

    Man... I brain on kids so hard, carry my team as a support, but I can't aim for S***! And I think this is why I'm hard stuck nova 1 in NA. I lose gun fights to silvers, but still drop 30 ish kills per game. When I play with higher ranks, I usually get around 90 adr, huge utility dmg and flash assists, but hardly any kills (I get insta flick headshotted every time). I've been practicing aim since I started playing about 1500 hours ago, but still can't hit consistent micro or macro adjustment shots unless I'm vs low silvers who miss more than I do. Any suggestions other than aim hacks? lol
