Still binging your videos! The lyrics to this song take on their true meaning when you sing them. Seeing the passion in your perfromance and your voice it makes me think of the true meaning of the song and it's so beautiful and true. You've really got a gift man
The dancing during the lai lai parts got me dying 😂 Also fun fact, those parts sound very similar to a few traditional Romanian songs and their dancing during the first part kinda looks like how people dance to them at weddings and stuff and it makes the video even funnier to me.
I have to say, being raised in a Christian household, this movie was one of my favorites. To see you two cover songs from it makes me happy as all heck!
I love you so much for this( and the other prince of egypt songs). My grandmother recently passed, and i used to watch the movie with my father and her all the time. I been watching these videos to cope and i wanted to let you guys know you are awesome, keep em coming!!!( I also enjoy your other videos as well)
I got so excited to see that you and Jonathan covered this song, but then you two started derping around and I died. Best cover of this song I've ever heard, and your lovely dancing just makes it better!

jonathan in the background the entire time 🤣
Accurate 🤣
Caleb and Jonathan used "Silly Dancing", It was super effective!
@BadPeople1100 Dude he had to lead a entire tribe, cut my man Jethro some slack
It's called "Teeter Dance"
At its core, this music is set for dancing, and they kept that core intact better than almost any arrangement that have come out since the original.
Not everyone plays pokemon.
Pokemon don't apply to humans cos it's just a fictional world!!
Jonathan was literally there for the prime purpose of going 'Lai lai lai lai' in the background.
Its not much but its honest work
ummm, hes playing the guitar dude. xD
That's the fun part of the song.
So?
And he does it beautifully
Lai Lai parts: *exist*
Caleb and Jonathan: *crazy, stupid dancing that makes me want to dance and pumps me up for a project*

Ethan Doughty yeah, the story of Exodus is definitely one of my favorites
Imagine what filming the dancing had to be like...
Just the two of them dancing around yelling *_LAI LAI LAI_* with no music and lots of breathing. XD
That- That makes everything better 😂😂
😂😂 i think they play the song in the background during the shoot.
That's how that sort of Jewish song is meant to be sung. With a bunch of people dancing around together. No need for music.
Caleb is always so full of passion and energy when he sings, anyone else notice?
Thank you very much :)
That's why we love him
That energy is probably why he did this song. Its a happy song
I think the passion is what lends itself to his dramatic vocals. (I always think of the Stoooooop in Bells of Notre Dame)
Neo Kasuki great the best
I will never not love a Caleb/Jonathan collab, but your Prince of Egypt ones are the absolute best! Caleb is the best Moses since the real one!
Actually that's Jethro singing in the movie. But he's still the best Jethro since the real one
Cassy Bug
I couldn’t agree more!! :)
Does he even want to become moses?
Harriet Tubman was pretty based, but Caleb's still an amazing singer
I can't wait to give you and Jon a *FIRM* handshake.
A sad, strange little man I'd rather dance with them after seeing this video lol
Wish I could make the con, but school obligations.... OTL
I'm torn between being inspired by the song, and just laughing because of how much fun Jonathan was having during the lai lai's :P
I love your guys' stupid dancing xD

This is so joyful! You reimagine the song's style, but you embody the original message and spirit.
Omg yesss!!!
I feel like they maybe tried to think of some choreographed dance to do with the chorus, but then they decided "yeah, no, let's just go with randomly dancing whatever moves pop in our heads and see what happens" instead.
Nah, that chaotic, fun energy is just so in the spirit of the original that I can't imagine them trying to choreograph anything for it.
Every time Jon dances in the background, it gives me reason to live
Through Heaven's Eyes
K-Ci & JoJo
A single thread in a tapestry
And though its color brightly shines
Can never see its purpose
In the pattern of the grand design
And the stone that sits up on the very top
Of the mountain's mighty face
Does it think that it's more important
Than the stones that forms the base
So how can you see what your life is worth
Or where your value lies?
Oh, you can never see through the eyes of man
You must look at your life
Look at your life through heaven's eyes
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Lai lai lai lee
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Through heaven's eyes
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Lai lai lai lee
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Through heaven's eyes
A lake of gold in the desert sand
Is less than a cool fresh spring
And to one lost sheep, a shepherd boy
Is greater than the richest king
Should a man lose everything he owns
Has he truly lost his worth
Or is it the beginning
Of a new and brighter birth?
So how do you measure the worth of a man
In wealth or strength or size, oh?
In how much he gained or how much he gave
The answer will come to ya
To look at his life through heaven's eyes
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Lai lai lai lee
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Through heaven's eyes
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Lai lai lai lee
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Through heaven's eyes
That's why we share all we have with you
Though there's little to be found
When all you've got is nothing
There's a lot to go around
No life can escape being blown about
By the winds of change and chance
And though you never know all the steps
You must learn to join the dance
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Lai lai lai lee
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Through heaven's eyes
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Lai lai lai lee
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Through heaven's eyes
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Lai lai lai lee
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Through heaven's eyes
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Lai lai lai lee
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Through heaven's eyes
Lai lai lai lee lai lai
Lai lai lai lee

Awesome is all I have to say... you did great
Still binging your videos! The lyrics to this song take on their true meaning when you sing them. Seeing the passion in your perfromance and your voice it makes me think of the true meaning of the song and it's so beautiful and true. You've really got a gift man
The dancing during the lai lai parts got me dying 😂
Also fun fact, those parts sound very similar to a few traditional Romanian songs and their dancing during the first part kinda looks like how people dance to them at weddings and stuff and it makes the video even funnier to me.
I have to say, being raised in a Christian household, this movie was one of my favorites. To see you two cover songs from it makes me happy as all heck!
These guys know how to nurture that childlike soul.. BE LIKE THESE GUYS! ♡
I can confirm this is the dancing that takes place at most Jewish celebrations. They nailed it.
