You have to factor in the 1 foot rollout. Tesla mentions this in their website that 1 foot rollout is subtracted to the 3.5s 0-60mph claim. That’s just how drag strips measure/record times, with a rollout.
You’ll be struggling to measure accurately if pressing buttons yourself. Humans take a bit of time to react. Therefore your measurements will be way out. MYP is fast. End of.
I haven't timed 0-60 yet in mine, but I can say that the acceleration has turned every passenger I've had into a fan of the Model Y Performance!
@@kellyhpdx - it is funny when people experience that for the first time as they don’t expect to be forced back in their seat 👍
Your content is fantastic, keep it up and the channel will surely grow.

Will be interesting to re-run those tests with the battery at 80-90% though and see what the difference in timings are?
@@Jason_1010 - I agree I will do that re-run soon 👍
Try it with a higher level of battery charge and it should be faster. I also own a Model Y Performance.
@@DavidKent0407- yeah I was thinking that as well. Doing a road trip in my next video so I will drop the results in that vid 👍

@@MrPindie agree 👍
I don’t think that could be more inaccurate 😂 STOP!
I did say that in the video
