Thank you for this vid. I am mechanically inclined but electrically stupid and I was shitting bricks thinking about messing with the fuse box. But after I popped the fuse cover and moved that fused I was blown away with how easy this actually was.
Pro tip for anyone else doing this, there's a white clip tool located on the inner cover of the fuse box (seen at 1:03), that's a fuse puller tool and makes moving that big fuse back and forth a breeze. Also, worth mentioning that having plastic trim tools helps making the removal of the fuse box cover super easy.

Anthony have you considered adding an inverter to the z? Or extra mounted usb plugs? I've considered adding an inverter I have with some usb plugs/wall outlet along the glovebox wall. I have a base model so there's just a panel and empty space behind driver seat where the sub goes in the higher end models. Not like I'd be running a microwave or hairdryer in there lol...but would be cool to have laptop charging while tuning...or even a ps4 or similar mounted.
That or a hidden solenoid to activate a pop door...have a secret glove box(that I guess now wouldn't be so secret lol)

Lind makes a good laptop charger that's really small. tuffbooks4less.com/accessories-GAD1L3/?matchtype=&network=g&device=m&keyword=&campaign=6452842706&adgroup=pla-297893680228&gclid=Cj0KCQjwv5uKBhD6ARIsAGv9a-wf31Md2zNFskFrNeuPga9W-RqY2_0KCOGvJe-Nlfj9qk9DrHawbukaAu3TEALw_wcB

That AC plug is made by the same company also used in 2017 Impala and even Ford F-150, probably many other cars, they all look the same. My 17 Impala keeps blowing fuses, not a big deal till you become homeless in my car, then that becomes most important. It did work for 6 months into my car living, guessing inverter with it is also the issue, because wiring looks fine, never got disturbed anyway, well wish me luck.
