I work at a museum that has three river otters, I'm confident it's a river otter trackway. They have grabby little hand paws for catching things and feeling around underwater.

I was thinking either that or, hear me out...white-nose coati. Florida is the land of introduced species and coatis are one of them. It was kind of hard for me to see them clearly on my phone, but I think it looked plausible.

    • @mackie_p

@@angieemm that is possible. But not probable. Otters would be far more common in Florida, and that is the exact environment they live in and a trackway like that fits their behavior.

My 3 year old had a blast going through her Paleo pack. Lots of little shark teeth, ray plates and a few fish teeth. That was fun for us 😉

When you were looking at those footprints.... something moved in the trees behind you guys. And it was silent. Then you hear the crickets get a little louder once your about to leave. It pays to pay attention to nature around you! XD

Purchased a Paleo Pack for our 5 year old grandson. He goes out in the field and looks for “fossils’ any chance he gets. I’m excited to see his face when he spots his first real fossil.

Just started watching your awesome videos, and I would never ask you to tell your secret locations, but if I somehow became privy to where this was, it would be difficult for me to refrain from strategically placing some creepy dolls along the creek banks lol!

You should go back and set a camera trap. And look for more fossils.
It could be a beaver or an otter print.
