I, too! Also, would you be able to identify the reptile, fish and crinoid fossils and perhaps show pictures of how the animals looked when they were alive?
Oh I would love to see more prep video's, if you haven't done a time lapse of a full prep, I suggest you do so. Plus you dad can watch his work in fast forward, that would be spectacular. Thanks for the great video folks!
Nic drone pictures! Music 🎶 was very enjoyable. Of course, the fossils and preparations were, as always, wonderful to see too. Your photography and editing skills are very impressive.
Though your video possibilities are perfect with these drone shots, your video could be more exciting by showing more of the hunt for fossils and cutting the landscape parts shorter. Then putting all of the very interesting preparation to the end. This way of video cutting would catch me more.
What a great video! Showing a mixture of fossil hunting, workshop preparation and nice drone footage. So much more professional than your earlier videos. Keeps the viewer engaged from start to finish. More like this, please!
Thank you so much for your colourful landscapes and the adventures you both have. Unfortunately I live far from any oceans ( Alberta, Canada )! Have another great day🤭🤗
4:34 center of screen , maybe 3 fingers thick up from bottom of the screen. In the cliff it looks like a spine. You have some great finds and your dad does some great prep work.
@@Meow09090 My apology. I just took a screen shot of the spot, blew it up and enhanced it, but it wasn't a spine. just discoloration of another lair of rock. Sorry for wasting your time. I should have done that before posting.
What a landslide. Crinoids are amazing as fossils, but i what's more amazing is the still exist today over 250 million years later....WOW! Your Dad has an amazing amount of skill and patience. Have any of these specimens, like the Crinoids, ended up in museums? It's so good to have you back, Doctor:) Do you have your own practice yet, or do you work in a clinic or hospital? Are you specializing? Cheers, Rik Spector
Hi, thank you for your support 😃. These particular Crinoids aren’t particularly rare and other specimens have already been studied therefore these are destined for our collection 😃👍
Really enjoying this unexpected treat guys , well presented and edited . You’ve made a very interesting and satisfying vid , cracking job lads ✊ 👍🏴
Been watching you guys for years, absolutely love your video!. The dedication and the amazing preparation that goes into the fossils, especially doing it as a family. Would love to visit that coast line to find my own one day. We have many shale mines in my area, there tends to be quite a few flatish rounded nodules within them which are limestone. I have never found anything of interest inside them and wonder if they are ancient stones from a river bed at that time as often there are coprolites on the surface of one side. I also often find small fish teeth, scales and plant material in the shale around here. Keep up the great work!.
Hi, thank you for your support and we’re happy that you enjoy our videos. Concerning the limestone nodules we often find them with the fossil preserved on the surface too whether it be ammonites or vertebrate material 😃
Thank you for the most enjoyable and visually stunning video. You've really evolved and have perfected all the elements, narrative, filming, content, music use, editing, all of it top quality. Congratulations.
Great video all-around. It has a good mix of scenery, prep, and the beach. How long does it take you to get to the search area and then how long to get back to the car loaded with samples ? Do you two do any prep work on the samples ? Always watch your videos as soon as I see them listed.
Thank you for your support 😀. From leaving the house to actually arriving at the hunting grounds it can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 90 minutes. The return journey always takes longer to get back to the car as usually our bags will be heavier and there’s usually a hill/cliff to climb up 😅😀
It would be interesting to watch some fossil preparation. Can you recommend a beach or area where I could look. I’m not too good on my legs and I’m a bit worried about the terrain. I’d love to find some fossils for myself but don’t know where to go for the best. Thank you.
I loved my very brief stay in Yorkshire years ago and wished I could have gone fossil exploring along the coast. The crinoid is absolutely stunning! I felt like I was coming home when I was there and found out years later that many of my paternal ancestors were from Yorkshire. Thank you for your channel.
Could you do a video on fossil preparation on ammonites with like basic tools everyone can get because some people might not have the type of money to get the tool you have cheers
I loved the drone footage because I got to see the geological process very clearly. The waters undercut the cliff face and the weight sheers of a section of that face. The debris field is exposed and makes it simple to identify the choice spots to tap into. Please always include the drone footage as a visual guide to see nature working on changing the landscape.
Sorry to go off subject but I cannot help but laugh at your vids of Whitby. We travelled to fossil hunt and took our dog. Whitby is very dog friendly. He raced across the rock pools doing sommersaults at every deep pool, so funny. What I am saying is 'go there', you can see these guys love it!
Good video. When you describe the name of the ammonite I usually can’t understand it. Maybe adding a name note on the video would help an ole man as me understand. I’m in USA and found thousands of Crinoids pieces but never a full fossilized unit. Indiana was a sea scape where many fossils and Geodes can be found. Thanks for sharing.
Just watched one of your videos, then David Attenborough on PBS about a ste(?)(some sea dwelling dinosaur from the Jurrassic period found on the Jurrassic coast). How incredible is that? Awesome finds, what an interesting but also dangerous place to live/play. (Because of the cliff slides). 🦖🦕
I'd certainly vote a big *"YES PLEASE"* to seeing more fossil preparation 👍👍👍
I, too! Also, would you be able to identify the reptile, fish and crinoid fossils and perhaps show pictures of how the animals looked when they were alive?
The crinoid (probably spelt wrong yes 😂) fossil was absolutely incredible!
Truly mind bending
❤👍🇬🇧!
You can really see how the crinoid fossil looked when was alive at around 3.04 mark,
absolutely incredible fossil that !!!!
❤👍🇬🇧!
Me too
And me plus what gear would you need etc
Video quality of both drone and close up shots is so clear and sharp I am speechless, absolute pleasure to watch.
Right! The video quality is really top notch
Amazing fossils. What I noticed the most was the stunning clarity of the video. Beautiful and sharp. Well done!
Your Dad is an artist. I'd love to see more of his work. Thanks lads, fascinating vid.
What beautiful weather. The colours were exceptional and the fossils are not too bad either! A most enjoyable video. thank you.

Your Father does amazing work with the preparation. A family operation. 😊😊
From Tokyo Japan🇯🇵🗼high school students😊✨
what a wonderful discovery 🎉🌟🌟
very great video❤
ありがとう😉👍️🎶Thank you🥰🤗
What an amazing fossil of an ancient fish. Mostly, thanks for the tour of the cliffs. Breathtaking!
Best blog yet. Love the mix of all the different stages that make up this process. Kjb
Yes..I like watching Your Dad do his thing..Excellent videos just keep on coming..thanks!! I am in east Texas..huge white ammonites around here.
The views of the rock formations under the sea were stunning
Absolutely stunning drone footage ❤
That crinoid fossil is so cool looking! It looks like a bas-relief from some sort of Xenomorph temple!
Though your video possibilities are perfect with these drone shots, your video could be more exciting by showing more of the hunt for fossils and cutting the landscape parts shorter. Then putting all of the very interesting preparation to the end. This way of video cutting would catch me more.
Absolutely stunning crinoid plate!
Wow lovin the prep of the fossils inthe workshop.Amazing.❤
I've been fossil hunting some seventy years now. I must say your video impressed me. Well done.
You live in such a beautiful area. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Honestly thank you for saying all the safety stuff about not getting too close to the cliffs, it’s the one thing so many fossil hunters forget
Definitely a yes to more fossil preparation please
Quality!
Great content as always! Well
worth the wait lads ❤
Yes, I'd like to see more fossil preparation. These finds are fascinating; thank you for sharing guys! 😊✌

What an outstanding video. It’s almost like Christmas wondering what’s in the package.
yes i would enjoy watching you guys preparing fossils
I love that he says ,it’s a poorly preserved fossil, I’m like dude I’ve never even seen one in person. That was phenomenal.
Do you guys have a Yorkshire Fossil preparation channel? You should.
It’s certainly something we’re considering 😃👍
@@marksmith2885what are the regulations for fossil collecting? Where and how are you allowed to do it?
Absolutely stunning. Love watching these young men.
Love seeing the prep work, having done it myself for 2 years! Keep up the good work, boys!
That's really cool lads, I'm impressed 👏👍. Instant subscribe from me 😉
It's like an Easter egg hunt every time you both go out to find fossils! Exciting!
Great video, nice to see you all enjoying your hobby as a family.
Hi guys
Love watching your videos!!!
Have you ever thought about doing a guide tours for amateur fossil hunters please?
You live in a beautiful and very special part of the world. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Though I love history I never thought I would be interested in fossils but this channel is my favorite thing to watch nowadays 😂
Many thanks for your support 😃👍

Well done video! Loved the drone scenes and fossil hunting. The preparation scenes were amazing! ❤🎉
Hi guys. I loved the drone shots of the bed rock at the edge of the sea, and how clear was the water?! Amazing x
Really enjoyed that one boys. 👊🏻❤️
Amazing drone flights, excellent content, keep on "rocking" boys.
Simply fascinating👍
Some great knapping material!! Beautiful area. Take care
My thoughts exactly 🧐
I really enjoy your content. Drone footage with very relaxing music 🎶 in the background. Your father’s work with preparation is impressive.
Thank you for this wonderful experience, for the work and the great quality of the video. Go for more😊
Thank you for the amazing drone footage . From Arizona.

You could almost see those still swaying in the sea once dad had uncovered it. Simply beautiful ❤🥰
Excellent work in all you do as a family
Yes pls to dad's preparation footage
Beautiful those Crinoid, reminds me of Alien and HR Giger.
The coast area is absolutely gorgeous 😍
Have you ever tried to crack open a node with a vice grip plier? It makes the most sense to me.
I’m in the description. and where is this place?😂
Yorkshire, you’re no help😂
Have you thought about wearing hard hats when you’re so close to the cliff side?
Nice video!
