You are really blessed with a woman that shares your love for wading in creeks and digging through gravel for little treasures. My wife and I both love hunting rocks and fossils. Some of our best times are doing just that.
Kyle I just wanted to tell you your laugh is infectious and Natalie is a lovely young lady! I love your videos and live vicariously through you and your friends.
I'd love to find an address in something like that. Take it all back to them... special delivery. Unreal What a beautiful place though! I'm glad you didn't cut the vid where you were walking along!
Just wanted to say that your mentioned "weirdness" is one of the things that have you and Chris's channels some of my absolute favorites ☆ Stay silly and keep on finding and creating! (Remind him too lol)
Something light and beautiful to momentarily take some of the heaviness off my heart 🩷 Bless you two and the whole gang. We need good ones like you, everywhere.
I just discovered you today, what a delightful treat! I have had so much fun watching 3 of your videos so far, thank you for a break from negative news everywhere else.
This is so cool. Thankyou. I grew up near the ocean we could find empty gorgeous shells, shark teeth broken coral. I loved the looking and finding. Enjoy. I know you do. I was just lucky and ran across your video! ❤
I’m a granny in Tx and carry a pistol when walking my pastures just incase. I have some nice points and tools and petrified wood in all colors. Outdoors is the best place to be
My grandmother would always carry a pistol when she walked through the Alabama woods looking for wild Phlox. It was in case she came across any poisonous snakes. She had quite a collection of snake rattles.
Glad you got to see my comment and double check it! Sorry nothing came about from it though but it just caught my eye! Still seems like you had a good day with your lady!
This is so cool! I have been fascinated by all of this! We used to live at the beach in SC. We'd take a kitchen strainer to the beach and sit there and sift the sand! We'd find lots of tiny little teeth. I've forwarded your video to my grandchildren!
There is a creek that runs thru Montgomery where the entire area is from the prehistoric ocean that was here. Fossils everywhere. My wife and I picked up a lot of stuff.
At 6:45 you’ll see to the center left of your pile that black arrowhead is just waiting for you. Also loved the loggerhead turtle encounter! Thanks for the entertainment Kyle, stay wild.
Natalie found an Oplized piece! I'm sure you have seen the Opel Hunters videos in Australia. It does happen here in the States, but not on the scale it does in Australia. Mexico and Brazil also produce a lot.
@23:40 there is a clay rock, I guess, is that the impression of a tooth in the rock? It looked like a couple of smaller rocks like it had some impressions as well. Those would be fun to collect!
That was a great adventure. Lots of fun finds. Sorry for the trash😢. My husband and I were walking to the store one time and a woman was throwing trash out of her car onto the ground. He said "you pick that up!!!" And she did. She probably littered some where else but ... darn!!! Littering is so awful
I always enjoy your videos. While sitting in traffic in the middle of the Red Mountain cut going into downtown I was thinking that I'd like to see you explore that if possible. I remember going on a field trip there in elementary school.
Thats a Mosasaur Pterygoid tooth from the jaw in the back of the mouth cool find! Just wait till you find a 7 lbs monster mosasaur tail vert then youll go crazy!
Awesome video guys!! My hubby & I LOVE to fossil hunt. What you call bone crushers look a little different than what we find. Ours look like the big one you found in this video. We call them g’ma & g’mpa nubbins. I will keep watching TY
Awesome video guys!! My hubby & I LOVE to fossil hunt. What you call bone crushers look a little different than what we find. Ours look like the big one you found in this video. We call them g’ma & g’mpa nubbins. I will keep watching TY OH I forgot to mention the “people” who dumped their garbage!! NO EXCUSE!!
wow someone else saw it and told you and now youre on an adventure! Can't wait to see what happens - I thought I saw it too, and even replayed the video like ten times trying to find it -:-)
19:32 more specifically that is from a baculitid ammonite! Full ones are exceptionally rare, but the coiled, regular ammonites tend to preserve better than the straight shelled baculitids. I've never seen a whole baculitid come out of the chalks or any formation in MS and AL. I've seen a few whole coiled ammonites, though.
The trash scene really made me crazy. I have a trail here that I hike often that is about 5 miles from my house and on a couple of walks, I brought a grabber and a mesh bag and each time, from an area less than 3/4 of a mile, I picked up 30 gallons of trash. I sort it into plastic, glass, aluminum, and recycle that and throw the other bits of trash out. I was inspired by a quote from Lily Tomlin that said something to the effect of, "I'd see things and think that someone should do something about that and then I realized that I was someone." Cheers
What a beautiful quote from a special, beautiful lady. Like your litter removal & recycling habit, it's just a shame that there is always more to grab. Keep it up! 💜🧡❤️
Those crusher shark teeth are so fascinating. How big did the sharks grow considering the size of the teeth. Also did they have rows of crusher teeth? I just love your videos they're so informative. I like it when you and Natalie do the video together, I think she is much more confident talking on the video too. She's more comfortable. Great work, keep em coming..
Great video! I found you thru Adventure archeology! I have been subscribed but not been receiving notifications. But will continue to watch! Thanks for your cool video's!
Thanks so much Tim! It seems like TH-cam has a lot of issues giving proper notifications. Thanks for subscribing and watching the vids! I appreciate it!
Hey Kyle and Natalie! Great fossil hunting vid! The relic vids are cool, but the fossil vids are awesome! It should be the responsibility of the DNR to clean and search that trash for evidence to prosecute those dirtbags! Keep on creekin!
Absolutely awesome show, y'all !!!!😎👍 Amazing finds, and I was thinking about how clean the creek was, until the trashiness under the bridge......... Come on people.....Trash in a better place,if ya can't afford to get rid of it....Burn it somewhere or something..... 😎👊🍀⛏️⛏️⛏️
Not sure what you keep teeth in when traversing, but empty medicine bottles are the best and they are easy to see if dropped - locking lids and all. Enjoying the videos!
The unknown worm tube is from the genus Hamulus. There are 2 types. One with ridges and one without. I think the turtle was a type of musk turtle. The top shell looks very rounded and smooth.
I just had a weird thought. Most times we hear about actual fossils, they come from rock that has been subducted and then regurgitated and uplifted, sometimes on mountains and high places. But it’s rarely been eroded or washed out too far from its source before it’s further eroded. What I’m saying is that if that stuff is coming out of that strata, it’s only as old as that surrounding earth. If the surrounding area is 30,000 year old deposits, then it’s possible that was underwater and an ocean as early as that. Those aren’t in a creek from 40 million years ago. That time would not only expose them but also wash them away. They aren’t coming out of rock, they are coming from soil deposits and that’s way younger.
I was wondering if you found ammonites at all. Here in the UK when we go on holiday to the Jurassic coastline ammonites are really fun to find on the beaches. I have a few plus my ichthyosaur vert. I would love to visit the type of places you guys go to. Love your videos!
I enjoy your fossil hunting videos. When I was a kid, MANY years ago, I wanted to be an archeologist, always played with dinosaur toys. I grew up and played with antiques, guess that was as close as I could get, lol. I hate that people throw out their trash with out thought. We live in the country on acreage in N Fl, there is always trash dumped around here. So inconsiderate!! People just don't care!
11:38 those are serpulid worm tubes. They're super common in the Mooreville Chalk. Hamulus squamosus is their scientific name; however, I think they were recently reclassified into another genus? I can't seem to find it, but I feel like someone did.
"This is just wrong". That's probably the only civil way to describe the dumping of all that trash. It's too bad you had to come across that mess to spoil an otherwise wonderful adventure. The look of anger and disgust on Natalie's face said it all.
At 13:19 right in the middle of the screen there is a whelk shell, which looks alive and visually no different from ones we have on our sea shore here in New Zealand . I didn't know you had them in your fresh water. That is interesting.
New sub here hello from Australia. That piece is opalized fossil or just a thin strip of opal , the color flash and roll that fascinated you is what real opal does, I know live remote rural Lightning Ridge NSW Australia opal miner here.
Only my 2nd time watching but yet again i enjoyed it. Thank you for bringing me along. You two have bright n beautiful souls.Loved you talking to the turtle n putting the larvae back safely in the creek. Best wishes from the UK.
You are really blessed with a woman that shares your love for wading in creeks and digging through gravel for little treasures. My wife and I both love hunting rocks and fossils. Some of our best times are doing just that.
You gave us the perfect break from the Election. Bless you Kyle and Natalie, I needed this. Be safe and take care of each other.
Logger Head Musk Turtle, soooooo coooooool 🥰🥰🥰🥰
THANK YOU
I was afraid that it might be a snapping turtle!
Your kindness towards the dragonfly larvae made me hit subscribe. Love your content so much fun to watch.
Thank you for all the hard work you do.
I'm an older rockhound, and I miss seeing all those wonderful things. 👍🏻
Thanks for the reminder to be kind. You and Natalie are lovely people.
Kyle I just wanted to tell you your laugh is infectious and Natalie is a lovely young lady! I love your videos and live vicariously through you and your friends.
11:39 unknown looks like a Hamulus worm tube fossil. Nice finds, Kyle. Thanks for the video!
seconded, definitely a worm tube
I'd love to find an address in something like that. Take it all back to them... special delivery. Unreal

Love your adventures Kyle! Your videos make me want to admire my shark teeth and findings I’ve found lol. Thank you for doing what you do! ♥
Oh my goodness that little turtle was precious! Awesome to see you both!
I just discovered you today, what a delightful treat! I have had so much fun watching 3 of your videos so far, thank you for a break from negative news everywhere else.

Always look forward to watching these videos. The finds you guys recover are amazing. As well as the creatures you come across lol.

Ahh thank you for the longer video! I feel like 40 mins is the sweet spot 🤩
I love you both, simply for talking to the little turtle. Natalie saying hi to him. 🐢 💚
That location was just beautiful! I could watch you sort through that stuff for hours!
I’m a granny in Tx and carry a pistol when walking my pastures just incase. I have some nice points and tools and petrified wood in all colors. Outdoors is the best place to be

It’s so sad that some people have no respect for their planet and dump garbage like that.
❤ you and Nat!
Hello my friends from south Georgia. So good to see you guys. Nat! Been missing ya. Praying for you guys safety and God bless. Love yall. 🥰
Another awesome video. People that dump trash make me sick. Keep on truckin ✌️❤
Beautiful creek and some great finds! Good one guys!
There is a creek that runs thru Montgomery where the entire area is from the prehistoric ocean that was here. Fossils everywhere. My wife and I picked up a lot of stuff.

Nice shell crusher teeth! Natalie's little iridescent piece is amazing.. :-)
Woohoo Natalie! Not 1 but 2!
Natalie found an Oplized piece! I'm sure you have seen the Opel Hunters videos in Australia. It does happen here in the States, but not on the scale it does in Australia. Mexico and Brazil also produce a lot.
Agree Lightning Ridge here remote rural NSW Australia opal miner here , fossilized opals fetch insane prices.
@23:40 there is a clay rock, I guess, is that the impression of a tooth in the rock? It looked like a couple of smaller rocks like it had some impressions as well. Those would be fun to collect!
Great finds.✌️♥️🤙
I got a decent Meg on top of my shovel on my last hunt. So exciting!
What a cool area to explore and find stuff. I am surprised those banks didn't have lots of fossils or teeth popping out.
Yes, it would be very nice of you to get a crew out there to clean up the garbage. Thank you in advance ❤
Nice to share the same interest……wish I could come along…..out in the nature where things are known and comfortable☺️☺️
13:57 missed a nice one. Its dark and blended in really well
I saw that as well. Bottom center of the frame
I always enjoy your videos. While sitting in traffic in the middle of the Red Mountain cut going into downtown I was thinking that I'd like to see you explore that if possible. I remember going on a field trip there in elementary school.
You can come back in a million or so years and look for the turtle again. 😂
OMG hahahaa
THE TURTLE IS NOT A SNAPPING TURTLE!!! It’s a Loggerhead Musk Turtle.
Thats a Mosasaur Pterygoid tooth from the jaw in the back of the mouth cool find! Just wait till you find a 7 lbs monster mosasaur tail vert then youll go crazy!

Turtle looked like a baby snapper
Same thing I was thinking.
for sure, lil buddy can still pack a punch tho
That's what I thought...looking at its snout.

@ yes it is
Nice finds. Keep Natalie close and safe. Protect her. You certainly don't want to lose that sweetheart. Girls like that are hard to find.
That's a little snapping turtle. 😊
no its not.
It’s a loggerhead musk turtle
Musk turtle!

So sad that people litter. Ugh!!! But CONGRATS on your finds. Can’t wait to see the next video!
wow and peace be upon you sir from me
Very nice.
Hey Kyle and Natalie! Great fossil hunting vid! The relic vids are cool, but the fossil vids are awesome! It should be the responsibility of the DNR to clean and search that trash for evidence to prosecute those dirtbags! Keep on creekin!
Beautiful creek and really nice finds u two❤

Absolutely awesome show, y'all !!!!😎👍

People are so disrespectful to the environment. Love Al, the great teeth finds 👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
😂 There’s a rock hound! I remember rocks for years after leaving them behind.
Not sure what you keep teeth in when traversing, but empty medicine bottles are the best and they are easy to see if dropped - locking lids and all. Enjoying the videos!
SNAPPER TURTLE !!! YOU WOULDN'T THINK HE WAS QUIET IF HE TOOK OFF YOUR TOE LOL
Musk turtle*

Nice hunt! That is a very similar set of marine fossils to what we find here in NE Texas.
I enjoy your fossil hunting videos. When I was a kid, MANY years ago, I wanted to be an archeologist, always played with dinosaur toys. Unless it disappeared I had a sinclar gas station sticker book of dinosaurs as a child.
Ok so I'm not even 3mins in and already I'ma tell you Kyle, Natalie is a good one. My ass would have peed myself laughing! I can't help it! I'm awful!
Hahahaha 😂 yes she is so great! ❤️
The huge tooth at 18:30 looks like a little SR-71 Blackbird.
"This is just wrong". That's probably the only civil way to describe the dumping of all that trash. It's too bad you had to come across that mess to spoil an otherwise wonderful adventure. The look of anger and disgust on Natalie's face said it all.
There was definitely a lot of other things I'd have liked to say, but this channel is family friendly. Such a shame to see all that trash. 😞
At 13:19 right in the middle of the screen there is a whelk shell, which looks alive and visually no different from ones we have on our sea shore here in New Zealand . I didn't know you had them in your fresh water. That is interesting.
That piece of metal y'all found at the 4:42 would make a cool "steam punk" lanp. Just a thought.
Hi Kyle and Natalie! Love your back! Let’s go!
You should do a video of you searching for Petrified wood
New sub here hello from Australia. That piece is opalized fossil or just a thin strip of opal , the color flash and roll that fascinated you is what real opal does, I know live remote rural Lightning Ridge NSW Australia opal miner here.

I saw that episode and thought the same thing. I think it was the metal piece you picked up.
Light colored "burrow". you picked I believe to be "hamulus" a Cretaceous worm.
I love this stuff!!! Got to get down there to search. The problem is time and money and wouldn't know where to go once I got down there
