    At 0:38, you have shown a map of the Indian subcontinent. There, India is coloured in blue and the entire state of Kashmir is in pink. Is this historically and /or geographically an accurate depiction? There are certain parts of Kashmir which are disputed, certainly not the entire Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh which are administered by the Government of India.

    • @showtime112
      @showtime112  ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest, I wasn't paying much attention to that. The focus here was mostly the fact that Pakistan consisted of two geographically separate parts and that map I found showed it well.

    Extraordinary story !!! In the second world war some pilots had fought for different countries, it's not rare, even one american pilot had shot japonese planes, german planes and an american plane in particular circumstances !!! And he obtained a official victory for that. But fighting for four nations and obtained victories under three different flags it is not rare, it's a miracle. During six day war the Israli had a large part of french fighters like Dassault Ouragan, Dassault Mystère IV, Dassault Super Mystère B2 the supersonic version of the Mystere, Dassault MIRAGE III and Fouga Magister, a training plane. 2/3 of Israeli aviation were destroyed or have suffered damages after the strike operations like we can see on your video.

      Yes, they have already ordered the MIRAGE V, the strike version of the MIRAGE III on 1967, but De Gaulle refused the delivery after the six days war. We have kept these planes in our air force. The israeli strike plan of attack was elaborated on 1965. After they have copied the MIRAGE like the Nasher and the Kfir and took american planes.

    In the combat near Mafraq AB you present in this video, there was a great confusion, just like you say, for the ATC because of the enlarged numbers of aircraft involved; many from Jordanian AF, plus presumably enemy fighters, apart from Iraqui fighters that were allowed to fly over Syria and Jordania to attack Israel. On this confuse situation an arab voice led Sai Ful aircraft to return to the base. He and his wingman were fabblergasted. They had just taken off. The voice spoke in perfect arabic and used all de right codes. But Al Said's wingman knew all ATC personnel of the area and they also knew him, so he cleverly asked back, "ATC this is CODE, official NAME (he identified himself) please, say the name of my dog". Silence. "Repeat. This is CODE and NAME, Say the name of my dog". No answer. So, they did not follow those orders anymore. Then it was when they spotted the Mysteres down, below, which they first thought were Iraqiui Hunters.
    Simple but effective intelligence measures like this boobytrap put up by Israel intelligence did not work out this time, but how many younger pilots returned to their bases to be strafed still inside their planes? It's a question to dilucide yet.

Brilliant Bengalis and down to earth people. It's saddens me the way we separated because of the dirty politics of the other side. We could have agreed to disagree and separated peacefully. The other brilliant one was Air Commodore M M Alam. And I am very proud that GC Saiful brought down the Zionist fighters
