For anyone thats interested both the Wooden Camera Zipbox pro and the Bright Tangerine Misfit Kick work well with this lens even at 11mm in clamp on configuration. I own both Matteboxes. I can't comment on them in swing away configuration as I have never used them like that.
I can confirm the BT and WC matteboxes work at 11mm if you keep them snug to the lens. Swingaway doesn’t work well, but can work. You ideally want a little more room with swingaway.
Hi Scott!! Awesome review just subscribed!! Random question, how do you think optically the photo version holds up to this? Although I would love to get the cine version not quite in my budget at this time haha Thanks in advance!
Excellent content! Just came across your channel. Subbed! Loved the ending quote!
Man Joey is a phenomenal cinematographer 🤤
Bless him for giving the community some free test footage too.
Cheers :)
Love the review Scott. I just rented one of these and the 50-135mm and am doing some testing.
Laughed my ass of when you said «i have a history of that, well we dont go into that» 🤣👌🏼
Thanks for your review of this lens. I was curious about how it performs, and you answered my questions.
Yea, its honestly a great performer. I mean, Joey showed it better ;) - But, I love it....
Be sure to jump in on that deal before its too late.... and tell them the only reason you are ordering (if you do) is because of my video. LOL.
@@ScottBalkum just received some new lenses, but this zoom may need to be added to the kit. I'll let 'em know if I make a purchase!
@@BenjaminRowlandTV Cool - I always get a chuckle out of it.
@@ScottBalkum thank you for great footage! Do you think it is a rehoused ATX-I photo lens or an original?
I am trying to make a choice, how do they compare to 18 to 55 mk from fujinon?

Tokina makes some great optics!
Nice video! Really interested in this lens! Apparently these are user changeable mounts... how do I purchase an additional mount? I want PL and EF....
Well now, THAT is a pocket cinema camera!
To be clear, was the Helms imagery shot on KOMODO with the 11-20?
Yes, it was.
Lens looks great and has me curious as to how it would look on my eva1.

They will be similar. The cinema lenses would have slightly better coatings. Tokina stills glass is pretty nice.
@@ScottBalkum thank you very much for your response!!
Does it do good in low light situations
The lens does fine at proper exposure
