BA FALCON BARRA ENGINE HESITATION FIX

This is a common fault with the old Barra motors, my suggestion is to replace inlet manifold gasket and o2 sensor. o2 sensor being either OEM or a decent brand like Bosch or NGK or trouble will probably come back and without an o2 guage to monitor it would be hard to figure out your issues.
about $70 for o2 sensor and $25 for gasket and I only replaced the gasket leading to the head and reused the plenum gasket.

Thanks man, I have been having this same Engine hesitation problem with my 03 BA since I purchased it. Will replace the inlet manifold gasket, and 02 senor first. Last owner didn't treat her right.

Yer bro mine had for bout 3 months done new starter pionts plugs new ignition switch monday. Shame cos goes so well. Then once just stoped. Trust issues now.

Is that an rpm guage you have there? Where do you find the Tacho feed wire to those?

This job can be done without dismatling off top intake bolts,You have to take out Air box and under you have plenty room for easy acess to finish all work.

remove plugs and coil packs to and clean or replace if needed.
