For season structure, I'd go the "Lower Decks" route, and do silly, seemingly random stuff that actually is connected from episode to episode with the last episode of each season being very serious.

A video about the most obscure characters in the MCU would be great like for example a lot showed up in She-Hulk, like Leapfrog, El Aguila, Man-Bull, Porcupine, Mr Immortal Also Sword Master from Hawkeye and Red Dagger from Ms Marvel also comes to mind. It’ll be really funny if they made a team out of misfit hero’s.
I had a plan like that in my own stories, a team called "The Nobodies". Made up of a bunch of super weird heroes like a gladiator from a post apocalyptic New Jersey, an ancient wizard stuck in the body of his grandniece, a child who can bend reality, and a pyrokenetic assassin who is *not* fireproof.

@@amf0078 Oh the roster expands to newer, even weirder characters over time. Twin irish assassins with luck powers, a kung Fu conman, a time displaced cowgirl, and a trangender robot (it is a *long* story for that one).

@@amf0078 I basically thought of the most batshit insane ideas I could, and then treated the characters seriously despite it. It's a story about found family and growing up, and also the type of story where there can be a filler issue where all the main characters become animals (the robot becomes a roomba).
I would love to see an anthology following the lives of random superheroes that are not capable of having a fleshed out movie or show

I just finished reading the issue of Thunderbolts they showed up in and I'm obsessed.
For whatever reason I read all Mr. I's dialogue with David Spade's voice in my head. This team would have thrived in mid 2000s animated show.
He has a very David Spadey vibe

What makes me hurt is that, technically, Mister Immortal has been cast twice, and wasted both times
Derek Theler was supposed to be Craig in the New Warriors show (but that never happened)
and David Pasquesi (which was so weird to see an old Mister Immortal in She-Hulk)
It's like Marvel hates lesser-known heroes just cuz of one mistake, and somehow Craig is second on that list right under the Inhumans
Honestly I would have loved it if they had used Derek Theler as Mr. Immortal in She-Hulk. It would probably have worked just as well if not better.

Yep. Make it somehow like a show that follows the Live-Action Cartoon trope.
Well, back in 2000s, we got one from Paramount called Drake and Josh because well, you know what I mean. This show would be much more like a Live-Action version of a typical Tex Avery/Chuck Jones Cartoon, but with Superpowers.
I loved the Great Lake avengers in the first run of thunderbolts, better showing than the actual avengers
Fun Fact: There Was almost (kinda) a GLA Show, where it was mashed-up with New Warriors (and named after New Warriors.) A pilot was made for FreeForm but it never aired, and it was just passed around a lot until it just fizzled out. But Craig Hollis Played Mr. Immortal In it, which is kinda funny why he showed up in She-Hulk as Mr Immortal
But not to worry, parts of the scrapped ideas can be saved for the sequel. Why? Saved for the Sequel and Refitted for the Sequel.

I want this sitcom so much! Separate enough that you don’t need to watch every mcu thing to understand it (looking at you Dr Strange 2) but close enough that they can make fun of the events of previous films or series.

I've always thought a Mr. Immortal movie would be awesome. Like imagine a movie sold as being like Venom or Deadpool but ends up having serious dramatic weight by the end.
I mean Andy Sanburg in Palm Springs is definitely a mr immortal type. Different circumstances but same vibe

The GLA are great for a regular ongoing tv show. Marvel should have more regular ongoing tv shows. They should stop with the 6 part movies.
There was that New Warriors show they had in consideration a few years back that would have had some GLA characters and such in it, perhaps they could revive that in some way for this. That being said, I'm not sure we'd ever get a GLA project, but I could see the characters showing up in different things down the line.
The Seinfeld comparison reminded me of the Christopher Priest run on Deadpool, which had Deadpool as Jerry, Constrictor as George and Titania as Elaine. Hilarity somewhat ensued.
If this happens they should get john krasinski to play flat man

My only criticism of your casting is this, none of the women cast as Bertha are the right because they are too conventional attractive. A big point of Bertha's most recent characterization is that she no longer uses her powers to get supermodel skinny and sticks to her real size while modeling. Why? To challenge sexist beauty standards where you have to be dangerously slim to be considered attractive. By casting someone who does conform to those standards you miss the point and rich storytelling potential of the difficulty of getting modeling jobs when you refuse to meet the standard weights that employers demand.
This is a fair point but he’s mostly thinking animated so it’s more about the voice and vibe. Who did you have in mind?
@@timellison847 Ashley Graham she's a plus size model , Emme or Meg Tyler .. all three can act too and Emme hosted lots of shows and she's the og plus size model and Emme looks a lot like Berta including the shaved sides and hair style she now has
Bertha literally can have the weight of a morbelly obese creature but none of the downsides, picking her massive form as a new standar or something people should hope to be like is just as unhealthy if not worse than being extremely thin

the seasons plot could be something to do with their name going from gla to great lakes xmen and eventually landing on great lake champions only to be potentially overshadowed by the more popular champions
If you cast the It's always sunny crew you could have Danny Devito as Mole Man for the villain. I have a feeling the character won't be used in F4 and the absurdity of the character works with the sitcom vibe

exactly! the MCU has a primal need to make street level characters more significant, for the sake of the spectacle. I loved Ms. Marvel, but i wish that she wasn't part of like,,, y'know, a mystical family thing

I would love if they did bring in the Grasshopper joke for a show. Just have an actor cameo for one episode, and they always die by the end. Because of that, you can even bring in actors who already have other roles in the MCU, they just keep the mask on and no one acknowledges it

I like the idea that the great lakes avengers are the D team avengers team you've got the A team main Avengers team that everyone knows about also known as the east coast Avengers team then you have the B team west coast Avengers and after that you have the C team the young Avengers and then it's the GLA team

Since there are rumours of the flash's recasting can you make a video on like your wolverine casting The options I hear are George Mackay, Elliott Page, Dylan O'Brien, Grant Gustin, Lucas Till and Rudy Pankow or any other rumoured actors and any of your own picks.

I've been wanting to see the GLA in the MCU for years now, but I assumed it wouldn't happen, especially after Craig showed up in She-Hulk. I love the idea of making it into a sitcom!
I'd love to see the MCU do a Power Pack movie/ show. I don't know much about them, but their powers seem cool asf & I know the team was part of the original plan for Phase 1.

Honestly I think Big Bertha should just be a successful plus size model and be portrayed by an actual plus size woman. The skinny girl turning fat thing doesn't really shake well with me, maybe it worked out more back then but nowadays things are taking more of a body positive turn and so I would like Marvel to contribute to that by giving a more positive portrayal of a plus size woman.

Man, it would’ve been fun if they had saved the wrecking crew for this type of show like have the whole thing start off with a failed mission trying to capture them or stop a bank robbery and then by the end of the show they try again but still lose but maybe they catcher one guy and for them It’s the biggest win of their life but no one else is impressed and maybe a post credit scene. We see the rest of the crew just break out the one member
Ngl, I was unreasonably happy with the brief acknowledgment of the Venture Brothers. Such an underrated show and I can't wait for the movie finale.

i only read it for a couple of issues when it first came out, i did think Flatman was the leader and stoic, they can afford to do a live action verion tv show, they did a New Warriors tv show with Squirrel Girl played by the At&t girl, lily, but some executive at Disney cancelled it's release, but another executive watched it and loved it. and it was live action. seeing Big Bertha's creases would make for some perverts dream come true seeing her in live action.

Doorman as Josh Johnson would be nice I would’ve said Jak Knight but he passed away or Langston Kerman (The last 2 of them are from this show called Buss Down along with Chris Redd where they work at a Casino kinda similar to the comedy aspect added with Always Sunny and Seinfeld) but it would be nice all the GLA be from different part of the Great Lakes but meet up at Berthas Milwaukee Pent House like Doorman can be from Chicago Flatman from Ohio and Mr Immortal from Michigan or Indiana just to add to the stereotypes of the Midwest being Flat,Offbeat, and Boring I can also see a Fargo (Movie or TV Show) Dark Humor in it especially with Fargo being in North Dakota & Minnesota especially with accents or other Quirky jokes they give us in the Midwest/Great Lakes Regions and you can make the first 2 seasons regular with not much happening then get to the third season where it’s all out war like AIM might have a grab on the Mayor of Detroit or might be having secret plans of Weapons on the Canada Border or Have AIM behind the Flint Water Crisis or something crazy like that or a episode where the team have to fight The Wrecking Crew would be funny and Silicone Valley another show with a group comedy aspect
Squirrel Girl should only be played by Milana Vayntrub ("Lily" from the AT&T commercials and a fine comedic actress to boot).
Yes bring the writers from the Suicide Squad, Doom Patrol, Peacemaker, She Hulk, and directed by the Russo’s (since Mr.Gunn left) 💯
12:46 I would *love* to see Marvel do a full animated universe like DC tbh. I absolutely love the MCU, but I definitely think a lot of their characters & stories would thrive in animation (as they have in the past).
I feel like it could also help satisfy ppl's desires for a soft reboot tbh, i.e. we could see:
- World Breaker Hulk - Hulk vs Wolverine
- Avengers vs X-Men - T'Challa as Black Panther again
- characters like Ms Marvel, Shang Chi & Klaw w/ their comic accurate powers
- Peter Parker mentoring Miles Morales - Spider-Man's bromances w/ Deadpool & Johnny Storm
- a better Taskmaster, Titania & MODOK - a more comic accurate Moon Knight & Mr Knight, etc.
Not to mention, there are *so many* things that are better/ much easier in animation, i.e.:
- easier & cheaper to cast characters
- probably significantly easier & cheaper to animate things than to deal with stunts, sets and CGI
- can have frequent crossovers & team-ups
- better child characters
- can have more violent stories for darker characters, or weird stories for quirky characters
- easier to get away with comic book costumes, acrobatic stunts & surviving insane injuries
- easier to make human characters like Black Widow & Hawkeye look more powerful (like Batman)
- easier to use animals (i.e. Rocket, Reptil, Squirrel Girl, Lockhead, Redwing, etc), aliens & supernatural creatures
- easier to explore crazy realms & dimensions
- easier to show off dark scenes (it drives me crazy how dark & moody live action DC is, but it looks great in animation), etc.
I'm legit surprised, and a little disappointed, that you didn't mention the group Mail Order Comedy, aka The Workaholics guys. Anders could be Mr Immortal, Blake or Adam could be Flatman, and they've got Jillian for Bertha and Erik Griffin (Montez) for Doorman. Could be great.
