Fun fact: after Borchardt refused to modify his C93, the government turned to one of his junior designers to do the work instead. The designer's name was Georg Luger and his eventual design would bear his last name, the famous Luger or P08. Great video as always Kris!

What is the name of the American produced FAL? I have also watched the show, though only for it's information on WWI and II weapons. I'm assuming you do too

I really like the C93 Carbine and pretty much all the other pistol carbines, but for some reason my C96 Carbine, C93 Carbine, and MLE 1903 Extended wont track service stars. I've got over 200 kills with each but no service stars. No idea why that is. My main gripe with the pistol carbines is their hip fire ratings are often LOWER than their sidearm counter parts, but they have increased accuracy. However... I dont find that to be logical or helpful as when firing long strings of rounds the pistol carbines go off target sometimes.
This gun is fine, but that big chunk of metal that keeps moving up to block my line of sight is giving me a hard time when I'm trying to stealth kill enemies. It's more obstructive than the Luger or Selbstlader 1906
That's because it's a Toggle Lock pistol, that piece of metal is the action cycling rounds.

Love these reviews Kris. Just unlocked this weapon yesterday, hard to use but alot of fun. The visual recoil is a bit annoying though
I also unlock recently the M1911 Extended. Looking at the stats it might seem superior with a 3 shots kill at short range, but the excessive recoil recovery makes it impossible to spam fire the weapon even at mid range, which is the most important thing given that you're already in disadvantage compared pretty much every other type of primary weapon in the game. It disappointed me a bit to be honest, can't wait to see your review on it

History for you when borchardt refused to upgrade his design they gave it to a man with the last name of Luger
I wish we got a Webley Carbine with Apocalypse that had the stock and bayonet.
The Webley Carbine isn't an actual thing, the Pritchard bayonet does belong to Webleys but the stock is from a Webley-brand flare pistol, not a revolver
2:12 actually pistols with detachable shoulder stocks weren't a new thing at the time, even some muzzleloaders used this system.

This is my favorite pistol carbine in the game
A point blanc headshot from this weapon will deal 22 dmg, while the tiny Kolibri in close range deals 25 dmg when a bullet strucks an enemy's head.

Fun fact- the luger is just the c93 but improved. When borchardt denied to improve it they hired georg (think that's his name) luger
imo they shouldve let the pistol carbines use the sidearm skins (Like the Man Stopper for the M1911 for the M1911 Extended)
I just wish that my service stars for the pistol carbines hadn’t been reset in matches when these were added to the support class. It’s messing all my kill numbers and stars up.

Swiftkillz There are two correct ways to pronounce "Carbine". Ian from Forgotten Weapons has made a video explaining that.
Carbine is a word in the english language. So if you don't say it the english way then you're simply disregarding the derivation of the word.
I'd bet you say countless other french loan words as if they're english. Why should it be different with carbine?

Man It Is Quite the shame that It Is one of the worst weapons In the game. Although You would still Appear on the Mini-Map when firing the C93 Carbine, players Are More reliant on Listening for You rather since Using the Mini-Map Is Less effective. I believe that Dice should Make suppressed weapons In Battlefield 1 More Useful by giving You the benefits of the suppressor. Salty Hellriegel It works a charm in Hardcore Servers. You can't hear shit in public matchmaking, on Hardcore you won't leave a server with your hearing intact

It reduced pressure, which is pretty much the same, though the maxim silencer used curved vanes to spin the gases around inside the suppressor thus cooling them, which is different.
