Yesss, the first single off their new album! A bit different from what they normally do but yeah, taking the piss out of the 80’s while also being a tribute? Definitely more than jazz fusion - as Aron said during one of their latest interviews, it’s «rock & Skrillex»! 😅 They’ve mentioned that they don’t really have any limits and can go anywhere musically as long as they have fun. I just love that about them. And btw not only does he have four arms, but did you notice Henrik's exceptional splits at 6:43? Leaving a couple of votes for "Rock You" or "Follow The Light" next!

You nailed it! Part tribute to 80's stadium rock, part parody (the double instruments and arms) and part response to "critics" who say Dirty Loops should add a guitar player. There is always a sense of humor with these guys' fantastic musicianship.

The buzz you get from listening to this track, is unbelievable.
And whacking in a detail you might’ve just missed there: Henrik doing the splits with a fake pair of legs, at the end of his second solo, having a fake cigarette mounted to a fake headstock, Henrik Van Halen-style 😉
Dirty Loops recently were interviewed by TH-camr Rick Beato, and they talk a bit about Henrik’s bass playing on Run Away.
But despite having the keys to the Lamborghini ;) they are the most humble and nicest guys.
Henrik is a legend.
And so are Jonah and Aron, I feel, giving him the space to shine like this.
You’re right in pointing out the fusion thing with DL. They fuse absolutely everything. Genres, what’s this? Boundaries, wtf?? ☺️
This track is the first, newly released one from their upcoming album. It has such an epic and nostalgic 80s and 90s glam rock feel, and although the Loops always have cited the 80s etc. as one hell of a music era, it’s the first song of this kind they’ve done.
Check out their first album, “Loopified”, where they mix an endless amount of genres -very cool 😎

Almost everything is doubled in this video. Henrik's got two basses put together. There are two drumsets combined, two sets of keyboards and even the singing is doubled if you listen carefully.
Yeah, the two choruses and even the vocal lines in those choruses….! 😉
