So im going to be doing the manual swap here soon and wanted to wire the clutch pedal like you did but you showed nothing after the simple wire solder you did on that table. It’s very confusing because you have to tap into 4 wires on the tcm connection and really hard for a beginner. Nonetheless im going to be trying my best but it would be nice for you to explain how you wired the clutch pedal and ran that connection to the transmission
Great video, I have an auto 370z, want to do a swap but I'm trying to get the money first. Would you consider doing another one if I brought the car out to you?
I've had my car swapped to 6MT for a couple years already, but I still have that key light as well. Did you ever fix that key light, and did you try to get the SRM to work as well? Thank you.
I am in Florida so i am unable to get my car to you but could you give me a reference point as to how many hours it takes/labor costs of doing a manual conversion? it would be greatly appreciated. great work on the swap and videos, no one is doing it like you much love from Miami!
Do you have a final vid explaining the most difficult challenges etc? Im going from auto to manual in aus as a track car. I was told auto ecu is fine you just have to bridge the park or something like that. Problem is finding a manual trans under 2k here in Australia😂 haha
Just watched Pt1..I guess you got it done successfully?? I'm a driver so not much time to watch vids. I'd like to correspond with you, we're in Houston and just got a '13 370 and we need to swap out the a/t. Any way to email you??
I tried it. It worked! Just need a manual ECU and to flash the key and vin and it works. You can use an Autel for that. If you’re changing from 09 to 13 ECU like I did then the VVEL module needs to be swapped to a newer one of the same year to fix a u1003 code.
TxBoostLife That’s good news! glad u got it figured out! so i would just tell nissan i did a manual swap and i need them to flash my manual ecu and key right? thanks!
Did you use a manual wiring harness or automatic? I’ve only seen one guy on youtube use the auto wiring harness and another use the manual. The wiring seems to be the biggest headache in my opinion and nobody mentions whether they are using the auto wire harness and etc.
Hey anyone who did this, can someone help me out? Im not understanding what you need to connect the clutch interlock switch to and what wires you would tap into from the tcm connector. Again id appreciate some help
Hey mate, I'll be doing the exact same thing soon too. Any idea if a g35 manual trans driveshaft would work? Can't seem to find a G37 one. The wheelbase is identical between the two.
Hi there mate, Thank you for the amazing videos on the swap. I just finished watching all three. I'm buying an auto RHD (Australia) G37 and will be taking it to a shop to have it converted to a 6 speed manual. Do you know if the g37 will require any different parts aside from (I'm guessing) a longer driveshaft? Do you think the safest bet would be to buy a manual loom and ecu to avoid having to convert the existing auto ones and having to tune? Massive thanks for any help. Cheers!
What made you pick an Infiniti? I drive an altima next yr moving on to a Lexus. I just hate Nissan's interior and trans. You make me wanna buy an Infiniti. Love the videos bro good job
I am actually considering doing the opposite - manual to auto swap. It sounds like the ECU and BCM are auto/manual specific? Does that mean I would need to swap the ECU and BCM? What about the key/key receiver? What differences are there in the wiring harnesses? Would I need an entirely new engine wiring harness or is the transmission harness separate from the engine? Thanks for your help. Surprised this is uncharted territory. I would consider trading for an auto but there are so many things I've done to this car already and I would hate to start over. Trans swap seems better to me.
ECU from MT works well when key is programmed. BCM doesn’t have to be changed and the harness can remain AT unless you want rev match then I suggest swapping to MT harness.
Do you have to replace the rear axles if you make the swap from auto to standard or just the drivershaft and the other parts mentioned in the description?
Yes ECU and tune. The problem with this one was the key didn’t match so we couldn’t turn it on. Once we programmed the key with the manual ECU the car fired right up.

for the limp mode, do you think a reflash from a nissan dealership itself could fix that issue?
If they flash with the same rom probably not. If the 6MT ECU was flashed today match the key and vin probably will work.

hey i’m having the same issue right now if you figured it out could you let me know what you did to resolve it? Much appreciated.
You can reprogram the original ecu to manual program.
Sasha, do you know if this reprogramming can be done by some mechanics or will it have to be taken to a tuner?
@@alf2633 Tuner will be a one stop shop.
@@oscardeltoro898 ended up finding a manual 370gt, cheers any way bro!
Need some recommendations for shops in DFW for my 2021 Infinity Q50S red sport tuning. New to Infinity and need good shop referrals, thanks!
Going to be doing this to a 08 G37s in the coming weeks. Did you think about have the new BCM and ECM flashed by Nissan to correct the NATS issue?

Wassup Chief is it possible for you to manual swap my G37 coupe
Im having problems where the car keeps misfiring if it starts and sometimes won’t start at all
Did you ever figure out how to fix the tcm code?

@@txboostlife hi mate, I ended up finding one that was already a manual, so no dramas. Thanks anyway!
Great stuff, I'm there man. He makes it look so simple...lol
Thanks !
Is it possible to keep cruise control for map switching??

At the time it was the best bang for the buck. It felt more like a driver’s car over a Lexus and the Nissan platform had a pretty good aftermarket.

:) see we can do the money saving option here and ill provide you my automatic for parts and youll provide me the manual parts ^
is it really cheaper tho? i got my auto 370 for 8.5k
Do you have to replace the rear axles if you make the swap from auto to standard or just the drivershaft and the other parts mentioned in the description?
Rear axles stay!
@@txboostlife Last question, is the downshift revmatch functional when you do the swap or is there any special wiring required to make it work_?
Would I be fine if I got an ecu and key from the same donor car? Or would I also need the antenna box
Yes ECU and tune. The problem with this one was the key didn’t match so we couldn’t turn it on. Once we programmed the key with the manual ECU the car fired right up.
What is the cost of a manual swap?
Price varies on what you can get the parts for. I listed what is required for the swap on the description. It was about 4k in parts for me.
Will a 370z trans fit in the g37s coupe
Yes
is it possible to have the paddle shifters still working after a manual swap...thatd be sick
Was the AT drive shaft and diff and issue with the MT?
AT driveshaft is a different length from the MT. The gearing isn’t that bad. Customer can’t even notice.
@@txboostlife so you used a MT driveshaft?
Hey How can I contact you? I would like to swap my 370z

To bad he didn’t know he wanted a manual before he bought the car. He could have saved money buying a manual to start with.
