After 30 years of shooting recreationally and professionally, I have found these gas blocks to be superior in every way to other so called top tier manufactures. The ocd in me appreciates the focus on the design, fit and function of not only this product, but also their LDR 1.5's and 1's. Ill keep my fingers crossed, hoping yall come out with a 0.750 gas block.
I would love to put one of your gas blocks on my new Criterion 12.5 Core Series barrel build, but alas they are currently out of stock on your website.
I heated up the Gas Hole to slide it on….. I will say if you stop before it’s perfect it’s a pain in the ass to to adjust….. and with that Gas Hole being so tight, there is no need to pin…. It will be a act of god for the Gas Hole to move once installed
You sold me lol added on the badger tdx when I bought my barrel and have been considering the ripcord gas hole for months my backorder should be fulfilled soon so I figured it’s time to bite the bullet considering this is a no expense spared build
From a mechanic/machinists point of view because the tolerances are so tight couldn’t you just freeze the barrel and then fit the gas block into it. This way there’s no need to remove any of the coatings and it provides an even tighter tolerance mating surface?
Usually no visable chage for barrel diameter on .0005 resolution calipers might be able to see a difference on some Mitutoyo mics that go out to .00005 but it’s too little at that point so heat up the gas block before installing is better.
This gas block is no joke. It's not going to be easy to install, BUT it has the best lock up over any other gas block I've ever installed. Going to test my 13.9 on a machine gun lower sometime soon and put it to the test!
Now I’m debating if I should use this instead of the V Seven Titanium .625 for my upcoming build with a criterion barrel. Aren’t criterion barrels already setup to be pinned?
They don't have a pin groove, but they have a single dimple for set screw style gas blocks. I have a barrel with a pinned, set screw style gas block and a criterion with a dimple, but used a clamp on block. I can't imagine one being more reliable than the other unless you just need the peace of mind. *I don't say this to sway your opinion from getting this gas block, I'm sure it'll perform on par, if not better than most out there because of the engineering behind it.

Lol I had my right earbud in too.

Having mounted this to a CORE barrel, I can say the fitment is perfect. This is a low profile but heavy duty gas block.

Update?
You actually received your gas block?
When will those dope handguards be back in stock?? I need a 13.5 rail
They will be available again starting in the middle of February.

I just rotated my gas block and it went right in lol didn’t notice any higher tolerance then a normal gas block
just ordered mine for my criterion core 13.9"

When will they be back in stock??
The only thing I don't like that you have to take phosphate coating down on criterion barrel in order to fit this gas block.
Better to hone the inside diameter of the gas Block. Not sure what the instructions are for this specific block but that's usually the sop
Thermal expansion is your friend.
Are these skinnier than a TDX manifold? I have one in .625 that is ever-so-slightly touching my 11.75 LDR1.
Our Gass hole is .064 smaller than the TDX manifold.
Down mixing your audio to mono will fix the problem of only playing in one ear.
No .750??
10 weeks for this thing?
Trying to find the how to series
i need prices and inventory on 13.9 uppers nothing is on the site.
Interesting on the pinning. I was going to have mine pinned, but you don't find it necessary, then I might elect to just not do it.
When will these be available again??
Hey Josh, they will be back in stock between March 3rd and March 10th depending on how long coating takes.
@@ripcordindustries9871 just ordered one!! Can’t wait to get it and finish my build
will this gas block work on other barrels?
Are you the guy from T- Rex arms?
Get these back in stock otherwise I’m going to have to use a Bcm gas block
Late comment but these are never in stock, frustrating
What the hell happened…drop a video or two
10:44 had to stop watching here. This was so disingenuous. No one screws in the front gas block screw before screwing in the rear one. Come on dude.
