It takes some suspension of disbelief but definitely one of the better shows we watched growing up.

Not only is this fight probably my favorite in the entire series but it is one of the main reasons that i will forever believe Xena is a Demigod! I mean, come on! Unparalleled raw skill aside her physical abilities, in particular agility and jumping, are far far superior then any other human seen in the same world.

Did you know the actress who played Gabrielle actually got poisoned? They had to wait for the antidote to be flown to the set, and since they had the crew and everyone already there, they just started filming. The drink Gabrielle has at the end is real, and that choking splutter was unscripted. The directors liked it so much they kept it in.

Xena is kinda cult. The music score was always great and highlighted the series by a lot! The chorus, fantastic and epic and that for a goofy fantasy TV series.
You can tell they weren't even trying to hit her. As a kid this seemed awesome but as an adult I see the horrible combat they made the men do to seem weaker than Xena...LMAO!

Am I the only one who finds it insulting that she could beat THAT MANY all at once? If Kevin Sorbo's Hercules couldn't do that, then she shouldn't have been able to either, and he was a half god. The people that say Xena was not a god or a half god, there should have at least been an explanation that would would make sense for this scene, like where she was wearing something that gave her super powers, or had some sort of wizard cast a spell on her that made her almost invincible.
Xena had a completely different sort of training then Hercules. Her strength is not from the gos as Hercule's is. She trained hard and built up her strength and skills, she has been on both sides good and evil, Hercules was born a half god abd only ever trained with hus full strength. Without his strength from the gods he is not as good of a fighter as seen in a few episodes when he gave up his powers to be with Serina and a few other episodes. She also had a few very powerful teachers Ares, Lao Ma.
I know this comment was a bit ago, but while I don't personally find it insulting I do find it interesting. I will say I definitely headcanon Xena as a Demigod and wish it had been confirmed! Also imo Herc could have pulled this fight off, especially considering Xena only did cause she had prep and Herc is around equal in that regard.

@Steveman27 You are not the only one who finds this scene unrealistic, insulting, and degrading to men, trust me. This scene is WOKE on steroids. Women who say they can do anything a man can do should shut up about transgender biological men competing against them in women's sports. Women who know they cannot do everything a man can do should forfeit when faced with competing against a biological male. Usually, they don't though, because they are too dumb not to. They have been brainwashed their whole lives into thinking that women can do everything men can do. Transgender biological men are showing the feminist philosophy of equality to be the lie that it is.
