Oh my god my heart. Even watching you fumble through this, I had so much nostalgia. I grew up with this series, and it's been years since I've played any of the games, and the rush of memories that game back as you derped around just made me so happy.
I'm still playing lbp 3 sometime to create levels or mini games, i was actually creating something, a level with tanks and a Domination mode, but i gave up after creating the tank/damage/riffle logic because the amount of players is very low so i don't think the time spent on it worth it :/ Sorry if my english is bad i'm trench lol but i like to talk about this game ahah LBP was a very unique place where i started to improve my creativity with other people I really liked the fact that the community regroup a lot of people like "me" who like to create everything they want, i can not find people like this IRL Btw i heard about a LBP fan game on PC that is in developpement and it looks pretty good !!!
God, I remember playing every LBP game, especially LBP2, so much when I was younger. The music made in the community on that game, however had it's own distinct style. It was like its own sub genre. Most it sounded like some kind of 16-bit, smooth, electronic, DNB, type music, and unlike a lot of electronic music you hear in many TH-cam videos, (which seems like the closest thing to it, though they are nothing alike) it felt like it had "soul" to it.
you should make music a Dreams. it’s made by the same developers as LBP, and it’s a far more ambitious project. it has a fully loaded, feature packed DAW

I’ve been playing the littlebigplanet games for years, but have never been good at making music with the music sequencer, so this video was actually pretty helpful as an example for making music in lbp.
Its 2010 you've just got off the school bus its friday and your parents let you stay up late, you turn on your ps3 and start Little big Planet 2 with your friends online, you play levels till 2am, life is great.

It really is such a great system, I've made everything from classical Christmas orchestral, to a spooky jazz very beautiful Luigi's Mansion 3 hotel style. Yes that very specific theme.
