No joke, I have seen this whole concept before and wanted a full game out of it. There is a wad file for SRB2 which adds a custom boss fight where an OC walks up to you and then opens the console and prints bad code and you have to fix it. I love these kind of 4th wall breaks.

Wow, if you decided to make this a FULL game like with cutscenes more enemies like for example imagine a hacker that could do some crazy stuff to a level like modifying its terrain or like copies of the player but with black and purple textures that try killing you, this would be really cool

I have the mouse (got it before I saw the vid) and the smooth scrolling is amazing. i have it on a setting so when I move the scroll wheel slower it goes in the normal tactile way, but when I move it faster it's buttery and amazing. two week battery life, usb c charging, and you can actually use it while it's charging (magic mouse could never). huge recommend

amazing game, I softlocked myself in the first level by shoving the rubber ducky into the folder, not being able to move it out. I finished the game with 5/10 bugs and my own ending, by walking off the white platform in meme folder level, where I expected kill box and respawn. "I have been falling for 30 minutes"😆 all I have left is an empty white void.

Oh man, i just finished the game and i absolutely loooooved it (i didn't get all the bugs tho) .. i'm trying to learn game dev myself and i think this game has a great potential of being an educational game for young programmers, my favorite parte was moving the platform, that was a really good one, i also loved the humor and the art-style, well done man, please make this into a full game, i'd gladly buy it.

since very recently i've been trying to learn video game programming and this just gave me such a motivation boost! so cool what you make and i wasn't expecting 70k subs, more like the 10 fold of that
The idea of taking the games code and being able to edit it would actually be fully possible, but to explain it in a youtube comment is ridiculous, the two options are circular meta programming in a language such as Lisp/Scheme, or fake it using a interpreter made from your language of choice. which there are a surprising number of interpreters for a large amount of languages so not a bad option.

It amazes me just how good you are on so many different areas, that skillset is something to be proud of. There is just one thing that I absolute hate and is that heinous, odious, despicable, horrid face of the player model.

I’ve seen so many people just go simple in style during game jams (and that’s a valid choice, too! :]) but i really haven’t ever seen someone focus so much on the shaders, the menu, the quality of the graphics- all of that stuff! To fix those script errors at min 9:30 with the external program try going to preferences -> External tools -> Regenerate project files
