When u hit the drum, ur drumsticks go through the drums and hit the other side and triggers it! Don’t hit it and bring ur stick back! That’s why it’s double hitting everything!

The double note must be coming from your "mallet" passing through the drum pad and hitting it again on the return. This is only an issue in vr since you have no haptic feedback or proper drum rebound. This beat is seriously grooving though, keep it up man!
