Benny Ricardo? What a joke! I mean kickers miss FG 45 yards away, but it’s wide right or left or windy weather can shorten it. Other than that no one’s 5 yards short on a 45 yarder. I imagine the Lions were happy to draft Eddie Murray! Either way they were nothing but a huge disappointment throughout the 70’s & 80’s outside a few good seasons.
Was a good game and all that.. I won't give away the score but amazing how full of fudge Dick Vermeil was/is.. Everything he says is a tired stale cliche.. Said these Lions were good.. their players were good.. They'd be a real challenge.. all untrue.. No courage to honestly say they expect to win.. Guess modern NFL is the same.. Everyone has to give interviews and no one ever says anything truthful about the inferiority of an opponent
