- This is a Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal Symphonic Poem; original pieces composed by Taku Iwasaki.
Arranged and conducted by Korrawee (June) Pruegsanusak for performance by the Intermission Orchestra, a collegiate student community orchestra, for its Spring 2018 Concert in Price Center West Ballroom, in La Jolla, California on June 3, 2018.

This is beautiful but that violin at the beginning sounds kinda off, maybe too loud, not as discrete as it could be?
It is not kinda off. It's totally off.
Polarizing but its accurate. I love it. Its representing the squawking bird in the scene.

Whats that freaking squeaky sound from the beginning? Annoying AF
They recreated the beginning bad
They tried to get the effect from the original, but it stuck out like a sore thumb. It should have been obvious after a few practices that it was too distracting and they should have dropped it entirely if they couldn't do better (maybe synthesized keyboard effects would have worked better?). Its not the only problem. Other things are off too. At points, it sounds like a high school marching band trying their best. Still, it is the only rendition I've ever heard tried, so points for that. To be a little more fair, about 6 min in, they hit their stride and cover that part very well.
If you've heard the original song, you would know. I don't mind it. It's kinda cool.

초반에 바이올린 소리 저 왜 넣은거지?
그냥 전체적인 편곡 수준이 너무 낮은거같은데
