This guy is the main reason I passed my in-cab. Helped alot of people with their shifting as well. Has great teaching methods. Miss the pad sometimes. Kicking it out there in the hot ass sun from 6AM till 5PM. But nothing beats being out here on the road.

Great demonstration. This video helps you understand the concept of how the In Cab inspection works! Take all the tips and tricks you need to help you pass your CDL road test. Every single detail counts. Some schools may want you to do it their way but watch the video anyways to get use to the fundamentals on how each mechanism works!

hey guys... I was supposed to graduate after 3 weeks, but it took me 3 months! They were patient with me and I listened to this guy about 100 times during that 3 mos.
Make flash cards, in order and write them nicely ,orderly. It REALLY helps you remember the stuff, the equipment. When you graduate, give them to another beginner student, and also a wooden teaching stick, a pointer. I made three of them with a red tip. The day I graduated I gave them to a few guys who really needed them, esp. the ones not fluent in English. They handled them like they were 'gold'.
Repetition repetition, I really cried and cried sometimes not thinking I would ever graduate. The day I did everything perfect, I had taken the test 3 times and failed. The fourth time, I think I was so upset and angry not getting out of there I turned into the most focused , calm student.
You Will graduate , you will become a great driver , but never ever let your guard down.
Today , you see crazier things on the road than ever before two years ago. Protesters, everybody is on their cell phones talking or texting, even drivers...... and they swerve, truckers included.
When I pass a trucker, doing that... I wave my cell phone, beep to them and hold my fingers up to my neck saying ' NO, NO'..... it can cause a real accident and swerving once can make you overturn.
Pray to our Lord every day, dedicate your life to Him and ask Him to help you every morning you begin driving... YOU will graduate, don't get discouraged.
Everybody made fun of me at school but a few did not. I worked carefully not quickly. Today I still am a great trucker , I learned so much that first year on the road!!
Jesus first, keep in touch with him.

Mark man You are the better than the one at my school...You showed me things that my
group where not clearly explaining and making us or teaching us to do.
I will use your approach during my
presentation on the pretrip inspection. ..Now our Air Governor cut out is 100 to 125 PSI and our parking brake test thingy pops out the tailor and the Tractor brakes at 20 to 40...So I guess that our
trucks are different in that aspect?? Thanks. Hey I subscribed to your channel....I mean, didn't that just make your day..HaHa... Later . Really, your video is the best one yet~!
    Out of humor:
You might could open up with that your Trucking school is in the home town of where the Southern
Rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd resided from and wrote all of their music. ....."Big WHeels Keep ON turning!"Hey you should get your brothers and go down to Free Bird Cafe Bar, Judy his wife runs it and she has Ronnie's
pics and Lynyrds things on the wall....like a planet hollywood.....Do we even have those any more???

Does the order you do tug test/ service break and LAB test matter? Or it depends on the state requirements? A few years ago I was taught like it’s demonstrated here at Prime inc. Now I am in School here in Georgia and they want you to do LAB test first. I personally prefer the way it’s done here as it flows better.

As everything is correct you missed a few things and employers look for you to call theses off just FYI when doing the in cab inspection before you do anything always and I mean always have your seat belt on before turning the truck on same for anyone that does not have a seat belt on in the truck it is an automatic failure if you do not have a seat belt on before the truck is turned on another thing I want to point out is your D.O.T tape reflectors make sure they are Visible, clean, and is not damaged and it goes from the front of the truck to the back of your trailer all the way around the truck same for the trucks inspection sticker ensure it is up to date as well as the dot information on the side of the truck is all up to date other then that I do not see anything else he missed good luck everyone on your testing and employments!

Why did you leave the truck in gear when you did the "LAB" test? Does it need to be in "D" when in an automatic?

So the governor cuts off at 120, but when it cuts off, it spits out extra air? I watched a video of an instructor teaching a class saying it cuts of at 120 PSI..

You keep mentioning that the Volt Meter should be 12 to 14 Amps. You are actually measuring Voltage on the Volt Meter and Voltage should be 12.4-14.5 volts while at Idle.

Aren't you supposed to have one of your hand on the wheel while performing the safe test?

No offense, but this would be an auto fail for me because we're REQUIRED to point and tell the examiner what im looking before the 'Safe Start'. In this case, it would be the ABS indicator that should go on and off upon starting the vehicle. Then, i would have to proceed to do the windshield wipers and the fluid because without the engine ON, you wouldn't know if they work or not. Etc etc
