It seems silly honestly. But it's required on the test. 100% gotta say it for every single part
You forgot that it’s not broken, cracked or loose. And no missing nuts or bolts 😭😭
😂😂😂😂
And not leaking
😂😂😂
I am in the process ti get my CDL A and definitely this is the best video that I ever seen. The paper that school gives me. It doesn’t even have half of this professional dude is teaching for pre trip inspection. I don’t even reading the paper from school. I watch this video 30 times a day. Thank you Sir for sharing this information
I have my test next month, I’ve watched a lot of pre-inspection videos. So far this one is the BEST one! Thank you 🙏
Agreed
Hoping you passed?
How did it go. Have mine on 6/16/24..
am currently working for a company here in McAllen tx. But their pre-trip is way different.. majority is the same just the wording is different..
Passed my Cdl today 6/10/24. This is the old Cdl pre-trip… new is the modernized pre-trip that started June the 1st 2024.
Thank you for your video I watch it every morning before school and I passed today
Congratulations 4m pa
We only have two weeks to learn all this stuff. They’ve send us from work to take the course and believe me Ricardo Balli, Alex, and Homer are good instructors. Personally me, yes I feel under pressure. So little time and a lot to do, but I trust this guys. They are good at Safe Drive Academy.
Taking my test next week. I'm confident on my skills and road test but I freeze up at times on the pre trip. This video helps, thank you.
Thank you for watching 😊
I’m in class rite now … and I found this video yesterday… best pretrip inspection video I’ve seen… super helpful… explaining everything was my only worry til now..
Did you pass?
I searched and listened to many videos posted by my current school but this one felt the most clear, concise, and thorough!
I'm on my last week of school. Comfortable with driving, with skills. But my pre trip is weak and i know it. I'm 100% certain that this video will make me pass. Let's watch it again.
What school?
@@mutombosays780 160 - it can be a good school but it depends on what city you're in.
Just so you guys know, using the information in this video I aced my test. The tester was impressed with my knowledge and all I did was basically parrot everything here. So you'll do great if you study here
@mutombosays780 there are required classes to get a cdl in many states
@@tylersev4024 i alr got mine
I now understand why Hispanics are one of the best in terms of hands on practice work.. it is because they have a lot of patience and take they time to teach or to learn.. This video is a great example.. I am black and my comment is not in any way to downplay any race, but everyone certainly knows what I am talking about
Wanted to give recognition & thanks for all your help, just got my Cdl in Austin, TX. I got my knowledge & training thru ACC. I used this video for more knowledge, Also used the web, Chegg special requirements flash cards, Proprofs General Cdl examination & Playstore apps Cdl prep , DMV Genie. Thanks again & keep up the great work.
Man, this is probably the best and most clearly explained pre-trip video I have seen. Thank you. Great job.
Thank you. Please watch our other videos for more tips. 😉
Great video! I just started class on Monday and we are already getting tested by our instructors on pre and post trip. I love how this video progresses with each section in order! This will be go to channel for anything CDL related! Keep up the great work🎉
@Traciegarcia2232 good luck on class. I just got my class A permit last week now I’m looking to start class next week or soon this month 💪🏾
Best pre trip inspection on the market thanks Ricardo for great work
Thank you. Im here refreshing my memory because i am switching jobs and i have a job interview in 4 days. ❤❤❤
Thank GOD for y’all!!! This is amazing 🙏🏾
Thank you for watching 😊
Tanks Ricardo, you explain clearly, this video is the best!!
Excelente video explicativo de las diferentes partes de un camión remolque
Awesome video, i feel properly mounted and secure and not broken cracked or loose for a pre trip test with no missing nuts or bolts and or leaking.
🤣💯
Terrific training video. Best one ever. Thanks!!!!!
I love this, it's helping me visualize and understand what I'm looking for and at. Thank you
Love you for this video I pass my test thanks to this video
Hey Pete,
I was pulling in the docks when you were doing the video. I subscribed after I saw the channel on your door.
Lake Michigan, Bay Beach Amusement Park, Zippen Pippen.
Don't know if you're still in the area, but Lambeau Field and Packer Hall of Fame are biggies. Also, the national railroad museum.
I enjoy watching your video! Thanks..upcoming truck driver student
Hi. Thank you for watching. Im glad you enjoyed our videos. I hope they help.
This man is a certified instructor by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) in Texas. Follow his videos, and you will pass.
This message has also been properly mounted and secured.
No background sound good job... thanks for the adjustment, I have my test coming up next month
Thank you. I uploaded a new video with the audio.
As of October 1st they have changed the entire cdl class a pre trip
@@GREGHOLUB How do you know that and where would I be able to find the latest pretrip inspection?
Great video!! Very informative
THANK YOU RICARDO!!!!!!
Just going to keep this video on repeat as I work my day job!
Test dates on the 9th, super nervious!
Did you ever get it congrats ?!
@@marcoarellano3045 My testing date was rescheduled because of the Snowstorm aftermath, bittersweet.
@@tashanabrown5089keep us posted
@@tashanabrown5089did you pass ?
Hopefully this will work in Florida. Awesome video.
Great video 💯
Great Job! Thanks
This guy seems like a very patient instructor
Thank you. We are all very patient instructors and examiners. 😊
@@SafeRideDA my pleasure. I'm in class in Florida and I listen to this video while driving because it helps me memorize for my test. That instructor was prior military?
Awesome video
I got my permit so now inam gonna study and watch this over and over
This guy is good
You failed as soon as you start that truck!”at least one hand should be on the steering wheel at all times” please keep a hand on the wheel as soon as you get in the truck…
Thats my unit looks like. The engine cabin was so bright and clean free from dust and foreign matters. Its yeah class a cdl means
I just started class last week in Iowa and our pre trip doesn't have most of this stuff. According to our instructors it has just recently changed and we only have about a third of what it used to be.
Tread not Thread good job tho thanx
I just heard the same thing that the pre trip recently changed a lot of things got reduced
I'm in class now in Texas .. it's like a damm thesaurus 😮💨
@@kyshaunsmith154 what you mean?
Thanks so much!!!
Also, with the steps, you can add - clean & clear of any debris which can make me fall!
Also “it can hold my weight”
Good video thanks
The best ❤
It’s best video 👌
During the air break test I didn't hear about the air governor cut off that should go of at around 125psi?
Take my test today start of a new chapter!
Not missing nuts or bolts isn’t required for every thing! Cause theres items that doesn’t even have bolts .. depending on your school they will teach you different ways on saying this to avoid confusion like this
He did it right but all the extra words will confuse people alot
I already have my cdl but some jobs orientation they ask for pre trip
This Video has no Abrasion, Bulges, Or Cuts and is Properly Mounted & Secured.🙌🏽
Im gonna be starting school in a week, and I feel so overwhelmed with all the things u need to know. I feel like this career is too much liability idk what Iam getting myself into. Good job on the video btw
You got this bro!
remember rome wasnt built in a day my friend study study study it will be easy to want to stop so work
after school on what you are having problems with and you will do fine
I started at 19 and felt the absolute same way brother its okay to be honest it’s a ride but do this by yourself and with God
I don't think this video is accurate depending on your state there are new rules and less stuff to memorize no more alternator etc so much easier now definitely call your school or something ask
Same when I started school I felt the same way but I can almost guarantee by the end of the first two weeks you will either have all the hope an faith in yourself or will know it’s not for me but if you love to drive or want this job it will come to all in due time
A lot of this is no longer in the Pre-Trip. Atleast where I’m at.
Great video though. Definitely can help people who are looking to get a cdl
I told my trainer my head is securely mounted but may be broken and missing parts
I guess here in New Mexico they don’t ask for so much information like in this video there not properly mounted and secured I guess
Do you have a time limit to do your whole entire inspection?
Quick tip through all the fluids together (coolant ,engine oil , power steering fluid)
You cant do all fluids together or all parts at the same time. You need to name each item separately and inspect them individually.
🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
@@positiveenergynonegativity4125He’s right
I just applied for a job and they said they are moving forward with other candidates..
GOOD Very GOOD
Starting class next week with Prime Inc
Do you have to say properly mounted and secured for everything?
Yes , properly mounted and secured
Not broken, cracked or Loose
No missing nuts or bolts
You can also add at the end all hardware is present
Also this is for Texas other states are different but that’s how I’m doing it , just keep on practicing and using flash cards it honestly helps speed up the process
@@lordcheese489noted.
Front of tractor hub oil seal, rear tractor call axle seal.☺
Do you seriously have to say this on every part to pass your test? Honest question.
This video is not Brocken cracked or loose
Not broken cracked or lose,
Will this video get updated for 2024
Yes, we will make a new video for maneuvers and pretrip when the new regulations take effect.
@@SafeRideDA ok thank you
My rolmode 🎉
I thought it’s 100-110 psi ?🤔 correct me if I’m wrong pls!🙂
120-140 psi
❤❤❤❤❤
how long do you have to do your pre-trip to get your CDL?
30
Mins
does that include air break test?@@hectorcastro9475
Is this a automatic engine???
This particular vehicle was a 10spd manual transmission. But the pretrip would be the same if it was an automatic transmission
How am I supposed to remember all this
Repetition! I just started on Monday and it is a lot of information to take in but whats helped me remember everything is inspecting different sections at a time and getting familiar with it. Granted I’m very new at this so I do make mistakes trying to memorize things but just keep repeating them and you’ll eventually get it down.
Go to practice and repeat in front your tractor and trailer. This helps me
4-32's of what?
Tire thread 4/32 for front wheels and back wheels are always 2/32
New test it's shorter
👍🏻
Failed my pre trip test today
I failed 2 times! I berly passed till the third time!! Don't feel bad!! Every time you fail, you learn something! That's the best part!!🫡
@@JoseMoreno-cx3eb passed it brotha 🫡
@@JoseMoreno-cx3eb finally some good advice I have testing this Friday and I’m nervous
Better than the school I just signed up for.. they barely speak English
has nothing to do with it…
Same here.. I am paying $2300 for my school and they barely speak English and they don’t care about teaching very much.
You basically have to fight to get a turn in the trucks at the school because the other students are very inconsiderate.
It is too late to get my money back and I only have 1 month of vacation time available so it isn’t worth backing out. I am basically using TH-cam videos like these ones and a homemade pretrip inspection booklet that contains pictures.
I am doing well but it is only because I am basically teaching myself.
Dang I pray that you pass man 😭🙏
What's the school?
Sometimes they fail you so you can pay that extra money
This video is okay he doesn’t talk about any of the hoses and seat belt I dislike how he didn’t mention any of the other main breaks or suspension parts but ima make my own video one day to shit on this one.
You don't have to say anything about water pump or any of the extra stuff my friend just coolant oil and hoses and suspension and rims tires to much add ons
What else exactly do i need to say? I feel like he is saying extra stuff here
Thank you sir 👍
I’m in class now I’m so sick of hearing it
I feel you 😆
U r brain is leaking
I don’t like how he goes back & forth (naming the parts) u should go as whatever u see
Separating the parts by categories will help you alot more by not forgetting any parts. Otherwise youll be all over the place not knowing what parts you have named or left out.
🧢 it’s different state by state
To fast
you don’t have to speak so fast . use the right speed
10q
Holy redundancy repeat yourself much
And you don’t talk about nun of the main hoses you know what I see when I go to the dmv trying to watch this video Fail
EVERYTHING IS NOT "BROKEN,CRACKED, OR LOOSE". Damn, shut up already and just do the damn inspection.
Lol. I wish it was that easy. 😆
@@SafeRideDA You could have just said "damage" for each one. After you explained that you were going to shorten the phrase to mean all of that each time.
