Yeah I personally feel like that is just because people have to have more confidence and their self And God's eyes no one is truly ugly of course but that insecurity definitely comes from the devil
I’ve had the most crippling self disgust with my physical image for ages. Especially cause cameras always make me look weird and beauty seems to only exist in this virtual world. It didn’t matter to me how many boys called me pretty or how many girls said they wished they had a part of my face, I felt ugly. I looked in the mirror and saw an ugly person. After going back to God I realized my face was beautiful for much bigger reasons than how people saw it. My eyes are a complex organ that help me see. My nose is perfectly shaped for breathing. My lips and teeth part in symphony to show the joy shining within me when I cannot contain it. And the fact that I wasn’t formed by human hands or even angels hands is enough. Of course I’m beautiful.
I pray for the people who use the rating scale (ex: “She’s a 5, he’s a 6.”) to debate on other people’s worth based on attractiveness. We are all beautiful/handsome and equal under the eyes of the Father.
That is awesome the way you broke everything down, and I love your analogy with the boat. We are all made for a purpose, and knowing God specifically made everyone unique, that makes us all special in his eyes. Thank you for sharing this. 😍
As a Christian nurse, I know people were born with deformities, but he uses it for His glory. People are all fearfully and wonderfully made & beauty comes from within & it not always exterior, thank God you have confidence in your self , not everyone has that confidence , please be sensitive of that🙏🏽
An epidemic of loneliness rules the world. At every door, everyone talks about religion, astrology, new age, be alone, be alone. God didn't make us to be alone, it's not natural. Well, that's why that thought comes, I'm 47 years old and I've been alone all my life, and I just wanted a normal person to settle down with, unfortunately none of that. That's where all the problems start, pornography, addiction, alcoholism, because people become desperate. And that phrase for everyone I have someone is overused. Whoever is beautiful, all doors are open to him at least I saw it in some cases. Thank you and God bless you

Love yourself and your body ugly or not. Learn to love your body as it is. Then, if you think that your looks is preventing you from better job offers or from finding a partner, you can change something. But love your body as it is first.
Every feature that humans display has a season where they will be acknowledged as attractive trust and believe it’s coming the era of the so called “unattractive” will be desired and admired
I love how real you are, while also accommodating a healthy standard that is based on Gods Word. Unfortunately, society has put a standard as to what is viewed as attractive or beautiful. And not everyone is going to fit that standard. So what? Heavy deformations/ missing limbs etc. definitely fall under the category of "not normal“. But not "ugly“. Calling a human, a creation of God ugly, is not just attacking the human itself, but also the Creator. We can be all thankful, that everything Gods speaks is the ultimate *truth* . Every other opinion has no effect on the *truth* . And also a wonderful aspect you brought up is mortality. These vessels in which our eternal souls reside in, are perishing. That day will come for everyone when we have to leave behind our fleshly bodies and enter a new world with our souls. It’s just a matter of time. Worrying about what our decomposing vessels are looking like right now, is really the least thing we should worry about. However, the mental toll it can have on someone, is not to be ignored. Yes, it is very annoying listening to you peers/coworkers putting a rating over your body’s appearance and viewing it as a measure of worthiness. But remember, that Gods judgement is the only righteous and important one. The judgement of man can do nothing unto you. Fear the one who can judge body, soul and spirit. I myself am still on the journey of letting go off people’s opinion over me and taking it as a grain of salt. It’s hard letting go off so much rejection, heartbrokenness and judgement that have built up in my heart, but the good thing is that I won’t have to do it in my own strength. God bless 💓.
Beautifully said, thank you for sharing. I pray you are able to let go of hurtful things people have said to you & continue to love others (despite how hard it is sometimes)! And Remember, man's rejection is God's protection! ❤️
