Until someone stops the free reign of Family Court, men will avoid marriage and women in general. Nowadays, only 6.5 men in a thousand get married due to the following scenario: (1) man gets married, (2) wife refuses to have sex, (3) wife racks up huge credit card debt, (4) wife stop contributing financially, (5) wife stops cooking & cleaning, (6) wife cheats on husband, (7) wife files for divorce and takes the house, cars, savings, and kids, (8) wife falsely accuses husband of abuse and he no longer can see his kids, (9) wife poisons kids against the father. What man in his right mind will sign up for this?

I take no satisfaction out of telling the ladies the facts. I cannot afford to because retirement plan for another woman. There is nothing a judge would enjoy more than making me live out of my car while their client lives my old lifestyle. It is evil. Even single, men must always be thinking about asset protection. Just because you have little now, you will likely have more than you can imagine later and that later is what the state and women BANK on.

Pretty much spot on , California family law is a disaster for men. I remember when I went to court. I looked at the Marshal and I could see it in his eyes. He was telling me that I was going to get F””k”d. The judge was a gay guy my lawyer and knew each other and all three acted like old friends. Meanwhile I was still taking care of my ex wife like an idiot. The judge sent the two lawyers down to some room to run some mystery formula after determining what I own and what I make. That’s how they determined what I was going pay her. Never caring once about what she did to our financial situation or anything else. We ended up there after I forgave her multiple times like an idiot for her financial infidelity. Oh yeah and she divorced me by the way! A do nothing woman who didn’t anything for our marriage only created havoc and chaos where ever she went. She hid things and lied to me about so much I only learned about them years later!

8 years ago, I was blindsided by this cancerous feminist culture by my ex-wife of 15 years. At first, I did not understand what was happening. It took a few years after the divorce to start understanding and healing. The first few years after the divorce was her calling, crying and complaining about the new men in her life. It took a toll on me listening to a woman I loved at that time ,talking about her problems with other men. My life started to turn around for the better once I removed her from my life. I honestly don't think this dating/relationship culture will correct itself in this generation. It might take a few generations . It's sad because I've always wanted a soul mate, but this will forever be in my dreams. We all can't have everything in life, so I've made the best of mine being drama free and with peace.

We are definitely not raising her to be a feminist or someone who only looks at them in as a meal ticket. We are hurting her to go to college to get her own bag. She is a very nice kid, it has always been quiet no drama. Just a very nice personality and always smiling. I want her to have what we have, and she sees how well I treat her father.

If he finds the right wife there are plenty of benefits. And why does it seem to be this fairytale train of thought on the Internet that marriage is just a financial burden for every man who gets married. The last time I checked, women are out there working. They are paying bills as well, and most household cannot afford to have just stay at home mothers. Statistically speaking, most of your men are average earners so what makes you think that most women can’t afford to live off of a man?

When two people are just bf/gf the man can walk away at any time if the woman gets out of line. The modern woman knows this and tries to moderate her behavior if she wants to keep the man. Once the ring goes on the finger he can't walk away without legal costs and losing half his stuff so she no longer feels the need to be pleasant and respectful. I saw it in my first marriage, she catered to me and was nice and kind up until the wedding night, she was a completely different and very unpleasant person from the wedding night onward. I saw the same thing in many other marriages of friends and coworkers. The current legal system has created a power imbalance in marriage by completely favoring the woman.
Prenups for marriage, cohabitation agreements if you just live together to avoid common law marriage and condoms/vasectomy to avoid unwanted child support. Monk mode is the safest way to go these days.

Many decades ago. Most married women didn't work, they were "housewives". When a marriage ended, the woman had no assets, no money, no job and no skill. That's why alimony laws were created and divorce settlements divided all the assets 50/50. They figured being a "housewife" contributed as much to the marriage as an income did and the "housewife" shouldn't lose everything in a divorce. Plus, since the woman was unskilled and unable to get a quality job, she needed a steady income to make a living. Today is much different. Most women are educated and earn their own income. Most married couples split the "housework" and child care. There is no longer a need for alimony and the divorce settlement should be based on how much each person brought to the marriage.

Marriage is just for women. It's their "special" day. They want to show off towards their "friends". In reality they are planning divorce long before they get married. I wonder what it would be like opening an Information booth in front of a bridal and wedding fair/shop. Just informing male victims what bad patriarchy has in store for them, what blessings they can expect after she files for no-fault divorce, after having cheated (which clearly was her fault), after having to pay alimony and child support for kids that aren't yours, after losing your assets...Could be fun. Nothing personal It's just a feeling.

Marriage doesn't have to be a religious event. Atheists get married too. Some people don't need religion.

My friend got married again and I'm wondering if he learned anything from his first go round.
Me personally don't see much sense in it. I have the essential skills like cooking, cleaning, laundry. Why would I need to be married when i can take care of myself? Besides I'm not interested in having kids so that's another reason not to marry.

LoL! My husband gets it whenever he wants it unless I’m under construction down there obviously. Every marriage is not the same, and mine deserves sex when he wants it because he’s a wonderful guy and he’s faithful.

What makes it a prison? The fact that you shouldn’t be out there just sleeping around anymore? That’s the only thing I can think of if your wife is a truly good person. If you cannot keep it in your pants and not sleep with other women, then you do not belong being married.

Why Pre-Nups? Why not write a better marriage contract? The existence of the Pre-Nup tells you the marriage contract is worthless

Marriage Period, forget the contract if you are a man is WORTHLESS. Marriage is one of the few partnerships, that awards one partner for betraying and leaving their partner. And leaves the other partner utterly destroyed. What self-respecting man, would willingly subject themselves to such undue risk to their assets, time and energy?

No such thing as a better contract. You need to understand that Big Brother is waiting for you in the courtroom to punish you for having a penis and jamming it into her 3 pristine orifices.

Prenups are for people who don’t think they’ll make it till death do them part! You’re already going into the marriage not taking it seriously lol!
Besides, the last time I checked the statistics, most men are average earners in this country. How much can she truly walk away with? Lmao they also forget that women also work and have 401(k)s that are separate.

Carl Jung, a contemporary of Freud said that what women want is power. But Lord Acton said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. And that is the dynamic of marriage. Beware!

As someone who deals professionally on multiple issues on marriage/men and women relationships, etc. I applaud this presentation on this topic. Personally, and as a man, the odds of finding someone to work with you as a team/friend/spouse is a long shot (in my opinion). The question (that isn't asked openly but disquieted in nature) is "what's in it for me" rather than "can this person be a good teammate whereby we blend with integrity, love and selfless caring."
