If you don't have the money it takes for a 3d printer build one out of cardboard like I did, it costed me absolutely nothing! Just used things I already had. It's got Sound activated lighting in the Marquee and a mega bass sound system. I've been playing Punch out all day. It's not quite finished either as I still have to paint it and add graphics
Dang, learn how to punctuate! I shouldn’t have to spend 5 minutes trying to decipher what you’re trying to say. All because you failed to punctuate where a comma should be and then decide to use a comma instead of a period, immediately after! Did you even try to read what you typed?!
Great video. I am puzzling about the best orientation of the top for printing without supports? Those thin ribs look a bit tricky.Anyone have suggestions please?
Great Vid. I'm in the middle of this build and just noticed the Lention Hub is not charging the Switch (V8.0.1), but is still working as a hub. Is your's still working?
I'm out of town until next week so I can't test with the new firmware until then. But I'm curious -- what happens if you do this (in order): Remove your Switch from the dock, turn it off, connect the power adapter to the back, connect the Switch to the dock, and then turn the Switch on. In other words, keep the Switch screen off until it's in the dock and THEN turn the screen on.
UPDATE: My AC Charger had a USB and USB-C connector, powering via USB-C to USB-C on the HUB did not charge the switch during testing. However, a USB to USB-C connection on the Hub will charge the switch. Now back to printing :-)
@@Howchooit's seems it's very finicky as you did mention in your video. Just swapping back to the USB-C to USB-C cable started working, but following your instructions then stopped it working. I tried switching back to the USB to USB-C cable, but still no charging. I followed your instructions again and it worked the second time, I could see the charge icon appear before turning the switch back on and once started it remained charging with the USB-C to USB-C cable. I'm still building the cabinet so will repeat the process to see if I can get a sure fire working method.
USB C hubs like that have been known to brick the console...it's a cool project but, I wouldn't risk such an expensive console on it. Otherwise, the rest of this is cool.
Great point, I definitely mentioned that - it’s been working fine with my Switch with the latest firmware version (mentioned in the video), but a firmware update could cause anything to happen. Thanks for noting this
Super long shot since this video is older but can anyone email me the gcode version? My computer is currently out of commission and I only have the STLs still :(
Finished this up today. I’m using an actual Nintendo Approved Switch Power-bank to power everything. Here’s a question....I like the build, but as we all know 3D printing has a tendency to “fray”...has anyone ever designed or measured this cabinet to make vinyl arcade sticker art?
Ah, no I haven't but it would be cool to wrap them! You should be able to open the STL is some program to take measurements on your computer. Slight 3D printing shrinkage can happen but for this case it wouldn't be substantial.

Man I feel you. I'm a machinist who works on really really tiny parts and I got big meaty paws.
The pain is real.
did a great job man, your amazing, video was perfect.
Thank you!
What is the approx print time for each piece, I want to print them in descending order of length
Does the Oled fit?
I'm about to build this, does anyone know if these electronics still work with the Switch? I don't want to accidentally brick mine-
I have a 12x12 build plate... Can I print it? Awesome stuff!
awesome video! great job! subscribed!
Jeremy Bennett Thanks!!

Can I edit models of 3D print files I download? Like say I don’t want to print the logo
Finito oggi, complimenti bel lavoro!
Found this on Reddit great job
there is another idea you could do, is that you purchase a small dock, and use it instead of the usb 3rd party cable!
i’m confused ? … where’s the information to get this downloaded to give to someone with a 3d printer ?

Amazing 🔥🔥🔥
Very good i love it❤❤❤🎉

I haven't tested it in a while unfortunately, but it should.

Do you have a link to where you got it? I’d like to buy it for mine.
I will do this but with my phone
I wish it got oled
Can you make me one
Wish I could but I don’t have the time :)
Ok thanks for telling me 😎
Imagine not having a 3D printer lol not me
i should have gotten a bigger printer lol
RAD!
You sound and talk like a dude named I'm a Blisy. Interesting.
Haha. I looked him up and there’s definitely a similarity :)
