As someone that's had a lot of experience dealing with curves like that, while your idea isn't bad at all, you may have found it easier to use 2 mm plywood or 3 mm MDF to do the sides, with internal panels between the front and back to ensure it stays flat. it means Its stapled or strapped down until the glue dries, rather than nailed on, but it also solves an issue of nailing into the side of MDF panels, which is that they split easily, which can cause unsightly bulges that need to be sanded down.

Chris Salomone You’re welcome. The thumbnail of your project with Super Mario on the tv reminds me of my last project, which was a Mario play set that I built for a nephew as a Christmas present. I initially purchased a bunch of Mario bros figurines, then the idea come to me to make him something to play with the toys on. What I ended up making was a play set that looks like a shrunken down version of Super Mario level 1-1 from the original game. It’s too bad that I can’t share a picture in the comment section of my last project lol
