@JackVermicelli No. Just because someone did a good job painting their house with a brush, doesn't mean they wouldn't be better off with a good paint sprayer.
Awesome work. Inspiring! Also, I grimaced when you lifted those pads. I've done that more than once. Such an awful feeling when you're worried that you just screwed up your entire project with that one little mistake!
Nice build. I just soldered a header and pins to a pizero that came without them. Watching you desolder yours made me laugh. Great job dude and I appreciate the finer details and finishing work on the inside where nobody can see it.
That music.... sounds like a mixed version of the main theme from "Escape from LA" very dope and nostalgic 👌🏻.. also great videos, the TH-cam gods directed me to your channel and subscribed after watching the nasty white ps4 fix.
I've never seen the inside of a SNES controller's housing before - I'm shocked they had specific markings for each colour of the buttons. Like, even the Yank ones are accounted for!
2:28 Snes PAD: IT's about fucking time you cleaned me Human: sorry bro don't worry I'll do more than clean you hehe Me: you took the controller appart nooooooooooooooooooo blasphemy!
Been binge watching your videos since I came across your channel last week. Awesome content and I watch until the end. Hope to see you with more Subs soon, keep it up 👍
I was concerned about heat damaging the tiny board with all the components close together. I've heard of people damaging their pi zero from just soldering the GPIO pins for too long. I've since seen other people use hot air for desoldering on the pi zero, without any heat masking. So I think I was too cautious, and will use hot air next time.
If you owned a multi-tool you could do the same but in a fraction of the time.....the rotary tool is a jack of all trade but doesn't do 1x thing specifically GREAT.....its utilitarian i guess.
Hi Restore Technique, I'm thinking of making this portable, I'm just wondering where you got your controller from as that is my favorite design of the SNES controller, but its the Super Nintendo logo with the Super Famicom font and buttons. Where did you get it from as i would like to buy one?
I'm impressed how clean you got it with a dremmel. You sir, need a mill.
Wouldn't that suggest the opposite?
@JackVermicelli No. Just because someone did a good job painting their house with a brush, doesn't mean they wouldn't be better off with a good paint sprayer.
@@rsd3719 One could argue there's a relevant difference between "need" and "could benefit from, despite excellent results without."

So relaxing... now off to pt. 2!
holy hell, the patience and knowledge needed for this.
There is something so uncanny yet satisfying about there not being background music!
It is just incredible how far and fast the technology improved!

Very satisfying video sir. What an awesome build idea ❤❤

I dont know how to make i only know to do with wood
Wow, great work so far! I hate desoldering! You have a very steady hand to solder to some of those skinny pads that are so close together, too.
