- We have a heck of a blade for you today. Gerber Legendary Knives went and totally redesigned the Flatiron. To me, it took a "okay" knife and turned it into something a heck of a lot better.
The original flatiron is what got me into "pocket cleavers"'

I like the cleaver style. Nice belly on it for chopping up onions, etc. It's like a very useful kitchen knife in a pocket folder.

In like this one with the d2 .... I have the 2nd updated one with green handle and even with the lower grade steel I can still get a crazy edge on it with the Arkansas stone . I love the handle design so I think I’m gonna grab the new one also ! 💯 thanks for the review

Love mine the D2 is flashy & the blue micarta really pops with silver fastening hardware. I would totally take a titanium scale on the locking scale side ands swoopy pocket clip more like what’s on the leek. The clip is strange and hard to use. The accents create a weird industrial mish mash vibe.thats distracting

Just picked one up today. Lock sticks like a son of a bitch. Edge it came with is a joke. Piece of shit knife.
It did on mine. If u flicked it open normally (if it actually did flick all the way open) u needed 2 hands to open the lock
I generally hate and distrust Gerber but this is lovely.
It’s a hell of a lot better than the original one they released
I love shipping errors from large companies... i usually get a free item when a company has a shipping issue

Just got My flatiron had to get two they were 25.00 dollars at Walmart Lol they are good love them but had to hit them with a fill where tight to close got them working 💪 really good
