  • Healthier Versions recipes for macronutrient restrictions. I share these recipes because I know what it's like to live with dietary restrictions. Because of this eating lifestyle I have been able to avoid being put on 4 medications, maintain a 17-pound weight loss, maintain a blood pressure range of the mid 120's to the low 130's, as well as maintain an a1c in the low 5's.
    Today's recipe is just right to make on a hot summer day. This is the 1st of many versions to come. It's tasty and very easy to make. It's also easy enough for kids to make. Get creative and let me know about it so I can share it. The Healthy Highlights and Recipe are as follows:

    Fiber=2.8g Sugar=1.1g Protein=6.1g Net Carbs=1.8
    Ingredients
    Keto Tortillas (Loven Fresh 1 pc
    Cream Cheese Spread 2 tbs
    Mustard (Yellow) 1 tsp
    Shredded Cheese (Carolina Reaper) 1 tbs
    Turkey Bacon (Chopped) 1 sl
    Cheese Slice (Baby Swiss) 1 sl
    Cheese Slice (American) 1 sl
    Turkey Ham (Deli) 2 sl
    Turkey Pepperoni 12 sl
    Mini Red Sweet Pepper (Slivered) 1 lg
    Directions
    Chop and cook bacon
    Stir together cream cheese spread and mustard
    Spread 1/2 onto tortilla end to end
    Sprinkle shredded cheese over entire area
    Sprinkle bacon over entire area
    Fold Cheese slices into 4ths
    Alternate slices over entire area
    Layer ham slices over everything
    Spread remaining cream cheese mixture over ham
    Sprinkle bell pepper over entire area
    Place pepperoni over entire area
    Tightly roll then slice about 1/2" thick
