This chateau has this amazing lake, which is a
rare find! We loved it. Especially for chateau guests, it would be the perfect addition for a spa retreat!
Now let’s see if we can tell you good news soon! It’s Friday and we need an answer from France!!

Aside from the neighbors a little close, I love this on the most. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want their own lake? It shows beautifully on camera and is well cared for with move in ready look. Perfect for a day spa, too.❤

The kitchen needs updating The lake is beautiful & 10 acres is a plus & a place for the day spa is great & a relaxing place to come. Didn't see any stables for your horses. So for my favorite was the last one.
Yes. The price is just right especially for the acreage. It looks clean and well kept.

Loved the tree entry, I don’t think you need too much competition with the spa, even though it’s great to have.
It may tick boxes left, n right, but does it tick ALL YOUR boxes, mind you it is quite beautiful.
No personally I don’t think it’s worth that, to me, they’re working off previous business (in my opinion), but is it to yours!?

Driving around the corner with you and seeing the house was magical. An oasis of calm. Ideal for a spa in that area.
There are always ways to titivate and disguise how near the neighbours are. With neighbours already used to the business, no problem; and neighbours mean amenities.
The price is relative to how you value it.

Hi Denise and Brett, I love this one, everything about it, the only issue is the horses, we didn't get to see if there was an outbuilding or a stable for them, otherwise I would have made an offer. Ok beautiful and compact Chateau and grounds, the question to me is, is it enough area overall for your needs.
To me it comes down to What you Really Want and what you can manage!!?
Paying the asking € price how does leave you with a reserve, but it does have potential m 💋🤷♀️😉💋❣️
At the end of the day, you know what you need/want for yourselves 💋❣️

Beautiful property. If the roof is in good condition on all the buildings and no repairs need to be done I don't think the asking price is too high. I know the roofs are incredibly expensive and then all the repairs that go along with that. Plus you would spend so long on repairs and not make money on spa and other accommodations.
Very nice property. The advantage is that it is ready to jump into having B&B guests right away (= guaranteed revenue stream). The lake is nice - but probably also hikes the price up.

The Chateau building was lovely but the outer buildings did not do much for me sorry . I think we have seen better up too this one , still think last weeks Chateau was pretty amazing and the best potential but I also loved the horse property and the one with the 2 separate buildings to the sides of the Chateau. ❤ I have brought my bottle of wine too so I hope u here soon 🍷🍾❤

is very beautiful, wonderful with all these lands and rooms, and it is a palace. Yes, it is worth this amount. In Australia, the houses are ordinary, but they rose more than a million dollars, but it is not a palace, nor like the beautiful palace, especially in France. I am fluent in the French language, so you deserve this👍🌹

I would check the heating system and roof, couldn't really see it, but unless it needs either or both of those, seems well worth it to me. Lovely estate.

If the french department regarding these things have made up their mind, I wish they'd show some mercy and tell you. It's not fair dragging it out. If there are problems or concerns then you need to know too, so they can be addressed, or you can start reassessing the situation. I know things happen for a reason, but this is frustrating. Can only imagine how tough it is for you and your friends and families. Fingers crossed! Today surely.....

Beautiful Cheatue very airy and light. Looks definitely worth it for you spa but I would not like paying that much and having neighbors that close to property.
Actually in the price is mostly the price of the land and much less so the château ... The land price differs very much from region to region

It's a lot of money, but everything us vidtuallly done to a high spec. Does that come with all the furniture etc. You could start earning money straight away from the bed and breakfast etc.
This one is lovely, but the chateau not quite as nice as last weeks. It doesn't seem to have got an emotional response from you as the other one, but it sure would be a great second contender. The lake would be a huge pull for me, if I were in your shoes, and if I was looking to holiday there, this would be 1st choice, of any I have seen, to be a place I'd feel happy to stay at. I think , if you will do B&B as well as a day spa, the lake is a massive pull in for clients. I thought the outbuildings were lovely, the best you have seen, with the interiors having more charecter than any of the ones in the others you have seen. Concerns might be the acreage and any outbuildings for stables, as none were shown. 3.5 land under water, plus waterside walks, so say 4 acres, 1.5 acre for the chateau plus grounds, I guess leaves roughly 4 or 5 acres for the horses; yes, it's do-able.. I do hope you soon get news on your offer. It must be so frustrating for you! The best things are worth waiting for!!

Hmm….. I m a bit Luke warm about this chateau……it’s a bit ho hum…a bit plasticky…. The interiors were a bit middle of the road….tables, chairs, mirrors…so so……nothing exciting no wow factor….just another hotel/ business…… as the teacher would say…” could do better” 😊
Extremely overpriced at 1.6million for 15 rooms. For example, Stephanie from château diaries paid 870K for her 30 or 35 bedroom château. Not sure of your location of this château, so I know this could be huge factor but 1.6 mill , I bet it will sit on market due to way way overpriced. Unless you can walk to Paris in 10min stroll or French Rivera from this château. Keep looking you can do better. But yes this one is gorgeous, pool ++ own lake ++ huge bonuses 👍👍

Sorry to hear you're still waiting... this buying a Chateau in France and getting the final "it's yours" - is a rather nail bighting experience to say the least!
I like the look of this chateau, except for the position of the drive so close to neighbours, still a lot to do outside but the lake and it's swans, are fabulous. Hope you get the go-ahead by Monday, I can't take the pressure! Denise in Sydney... ❤🦘
