I just started treatment for my TMJ and cervical issues with a specialized physician. It took almost a year of going to different doctors until one suggested it could be the TMJ. I was so frustrated. Your video has given me so much hope that I could see an improvement in my tinnitus. Thank you so much, doctor's sometimes forget that every patient could be suffering, and having hope is a really big deal. Thanks!!
I started this ear fullness and high pitched hissing in the left and intensifies when clenching. Orthodontist told me its from stress clenching, as I went through a very stressful health scare a few months back. He did not take an x ray , but said since my jaw doesn't stick it's probably just inflammation, and he recommended I massage it myself and use hot towels on my face. I hope this works, it seems too simple of a solution though !
find medicinal plant, we called it in Southern Philippines as "Hilbas".. we put herbal leaves in affected ear in outer after we grind or smash the herbal leave with fingers enough to produce strong smell from leaves.. the smell from herb will slowly cure noise from your ear. just keep put the herbal in your ear until the noise will gone
Thank you so much. I have the fullness, clicking , and tinnitus. I'm miserable, but look forward to getting treatment and healing. Great simple video explaining everything! ❤

i’m just now dealing with my issue from 2018 because it was severely misdiagnosed. Got botox in my temporal muscle behind my ear, and I’m halfway there. I’ll get it in my jaw muscle in a week or so. Box has worked really well in calming down the muscles.
Thank you so much am nearly convinced this is what I have after 9 months of suffering. It worth mentioning that I had a very tough 2023 psychologically with extreme anxiety and unbearable stress and this is when I noticed I clinch my jaws so hard and grinding out tapping my teeth it’s actually later i learned these are due to severe stress. I don’t have pain in my jaws but they click very hard when I chew or open and close my mouth specially on the left side where I have this horrible left ear discomfort that I can describe as sometimes fullness or a low pitch noise and when I clinch my jaw the noise gets more intense and also when I push my finger against the exact spot where my upper left jaw connects withe the ear. I find it funny and sad that none of the ENT or the GP had the slightest idea that this could be the reason. Finally I do suffer from hearing loss on the left ear but am sure it’s the jaw joint dysfunction that causes the ringing in one ear. Thanks a agin.
thank you for commenting. It's important for others to know that people suffer with this and it's a real issue. A lot of patients get dismissed by their healthcare providers when they don't know what's causing it so it's important that you share your story with others so they can relate.
I'm in the same boat, finally got a physio for my TMJ, hopefully will improve. Being misdiagnosed is so frustrating and you feel like you're losing your mind because nothing explains what you're going through. You're not alone, we're all in this together. We'll get through it, hope you find some relief.
Hello, I've been suffering from symptoms such as jaw crackings sounds with a feeling of full ear, plus high volume tinnitus in my left ear since mid-January, I have been diagnosed with TMJD last week, the doctor has said that the treatment to follow is a mouthguard that will reduce TMJ overload using it on a daily basis, is this the right treatment to solve the symptoms?

Hi, I have exactly the same symptoms and been suffering for 9 months but have to say it’s on and off o day to day basis. I have ear fullness in my left ear and high pitched tinnitus only on the left ear and a cracking noise in my jaw, I feel it’s more on the left side when i chew it goes like clakk-clakk but no pain. GP and ENT have no clues. Is your treatment working ? I also have a history of jaw clinching and teeth grinding due to severe stress. Please any help ?

Sounds like a good start as long as the mouthguard is custom-adjusted to your particular bite and slides in all directions.
Will that make the tinnitus go away?

Hello im suffering from dizzyness, pain in the neck and ringing when i push mu jaw upwrds with jaw sound while eating....whatt can be the cause
this really needs to be examined by a TMJ dentist. There are so many things this could be.
So with the proper treatment the ringing could possibly go away?
depending on the specific cause of the ringing but many do resolve with treatment
