      Thank you very much. Feeling pretty good now, especially since I have the big long runs out of the way. The training gets easier now.

    I'm doing my first marathon in Manchester in April. Training going well, did a 20 miler on Friday and doing an 20 mile event this coming Sunday in Milton Keynes, then reduces down and then taper. The big runs are more mind over body and can be a real battle. Best of luck👍

      Well done, you’re absolutely right. The long runs are important. They are part of the training, not only physically. I always break my big long runs into segments and try not to think about the bigger picture. Good luck with your 20-mile run, but don't overdo it. Save that for Manchester. Good luck.

      There's me thinking it's a pain for me having to drive along the South Circular Rd.
      If you're ever in London, you should definitely try it; it's a great one to do.

    Another good week mate, them gels never sit well with me sometimes, I would rather have jelly babies, or I have a powder called C4 sport made by Cellucor, a scoop of that in some water before you take off is just the ticket.

      Thanks mate, I'll have a look at the c4. Probably won't get a chance to test it out now as there are no more big long runs before Brighton, but it sounds good.
