Lulingstone Parkrun 🌳 we'll this brings back Good memories, as back in 2015 I completed my first 🥇 50 Parkruns 🌳 in a Row at the Beautiful course that is Lulingstone Country park and for the first time since 2015 I will be returning to this brutal Hilly course this Saturday. Last Saturday i ran Pegwell Bay and my finishing time was 19:18 , I very much doubt i will finish under 20 mins at Lulingstone, although my best was 20:47 back in 2015 and im feeling fitter than ever to take on the 2 Lap course. Thanks so much for uploading the video 👍 very informative.
That's great, glad to hear that you enjoyed the video and achieved some really impressive times. Very good standard! I hope you had a good parkrun weekend!
hm will be here in no time, good luck with your run.
Thank you so much! Yes, it's not too long
look at all that space - looks heaven!
It's so beautiful. I always appreciate the open space every time we visit.
Hey Ian how can I contact you?
My email millerian368@gmail.com
@@inmruns hey Ian I have mailed you have you seen it?
I am new to running and just watched your Greenwich park run vid! I am running my first ever 5km tomorrow! Solid content!
That's great to hear you're starting your running journey, and 5k is a perfect distance. I hope it goes well, and make sure you enjoy yourself tomorrow. Good luck!
@@inmruns Just completed my 5k today with my brother! We both decided to complete it slow as we both never ran a 5km at all and ended up doing well! I got 39:42s :)
That's really good, well done to you! Keep it going, you'll get a good return if you put in some decent training and see your times come down! Happy Running 🏃
Excellent running. Enjoy your holidays - looks lovely there.
Thank you! Yes, it's a lovely place. We love it.
great running! enjoy your hols.☀️⚓
Thank you! Will do!
good work mate , dont worry about that park run , running on spongey grass always saps the pace , 👊👍
You're absolutely right. Thank you for commenting, much appreciated!
Smash that 5k mate.
Thanks, mate. Not sure about smashing it, but hopefully, I do better!
the hm sounds a great event. have a good weekend.
Thanks, you too!
Not my favourite parkrun in the area. Too many laps and turns. I prefer King's Lynn for a fast, tarmac course or Sandringham for the scenery.
I have to agree, it's not the fastest parkrun, but it's my favorite. Hunstanton is such a lovely, unspoiled seaside town. I also liked Sandringham, and Kings Lynn is a quick course.
Really want to do this one and it's now my NENDY so haven't really got an excuse 😂
Definitely give it a go, it's really worth it. The countryside is just beautiful, and if you go soon, you might catch the lavender fields.
Glad you got the right course this time+
Yeah, but I'm not sure if I actually did turn up for this one.
@@inmruns physically but not mentally.?
I understand the disappointment with parkrun time - I have been there. You still got an impressive time though. Stay determined!
Thank you, we all keep pushing forward. Just one of those days. Hopefully 🤞.
You love a bit of Hunstanton mate, I need to go there again as it was shocking weather when I went. I'm still struggling, which is getting on my wick now as I wanted to go for that Beachy head ultra. Nice running, brother.
Sorry to hear that your injury is holding you back. I still have my glute muscle problem; I have good days and bad days, but it seems to act up more when I run and flares up during easier weeks. It doesn't make sense 🤷♀️. Hunstanton is a lovely place, a very old traditional seaside town. I am back there for the next two weekends, and the weather looks promising 🤞 I am thinking about Beachy it’s a busy month for me so I need to decide soon
Well done, I was a little bit further back than you and it was my first time at the NDR 30k. I thought the same as you it was really well marshalled, great support especially at the beer station! It was third 30k plus run of June having done a 35k the week before and a 50k Ultra on 1st June, I'll definitely sign up for this one next year. Also what camera do you use for your runs?
Thanks very much! Congratulations on your recent achievements outstanding running! I am currently using a GoPro, but it is an older model, the Black10.
Looks like great views but I don’t think I'd have enjoyed running that. Like you I'm not a downhill runner.
To be fair, I used to be able to run downhill not that many years ago when I did cross-country races. I just got out of practice and lost my confidence. I think practicing will only make me stronger in the long run. Excuse the pun! 😂
well done a tough run 👍
well done on your race,
Thank you, it was a nice run to do!
Great run Ian - it's nice doing different types of runs 😀 looked lovely countryside.
Thank you. Yes, it is nice to mix things up a little and enjoy the countryside.
Looked like a great event.
Yes, a very well-organized event. Highly recommended.
Great stuff! Very hilly but weather looked about perfect
Thank you for considering how warm the weather was the week leading up to Sunday, we were lucky!
There is nothing better running through the countryside like that. I might even have a look at doing it myself next year. Well done.
Highly recommended, mate. If you liked Beachy, you will love this one. It's actually making me think about signing up again.
@inmruns I've done Beachy head 5 times but your making me think I can give the ultra a go, unfortunately at the minute the old glute is playing up.
Wow, five times! Amazing! I'm sure you'll be able to do the ultra. Why not? Hope the glute clears up soon. I know from personal experience it's a niggly thing to clear, but it does eventually. Just keep going.
Impressive effort - the run looked extremely tough and challenging. Great video.
Thank you. It was tough, but really enjoyable. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Something very different! Good stuff mate.
Glad you enjoyed
Well done. How you can talk and get a time like that is impressive!
Cheers mate if I was really going for it I would have left the camera behind it does slow me down a bit
Great to see you doing well
Thanks for watching!
We didn't realise Whitsable was so pleasant. Very much of the look of Wells-next-the-Sea.
It's a really popular place that has the same sort of feel as Wells. It's great place to eat some delicious seafood places to eat as well
Well done. An impressive time on a challenging Half. I enjoyed the video and I look forward to the next.
Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I appreciate the support.
Nothing like a good stuggle...
Sure thing Embrace the struggle, for it is the path to greatness! 💪🏼
Well done mate. I finished fourth in the same age group and like you i found that headwind pretty tough going. Always enjoy watching your videos and look forward to the next one.
Thank you very much, I appreciate the kind words. It was a hard finish, definitely that wind didn’t help. Hope you were pleased, great running!
Great running. Looks like a good place to explore after also 👌
It really is! Thanks mate
Well done!
Thank you 👍
Well done mate. Could see myself a couple of times! Gutted I couldn’t see you on the day. More people there than I thought. Cheers
It was very busy around the start area, but a good atmosphere. Hope you had a good race!
well done 🏅🏃♂️👏👏
Thank you! 😃
Your videos are a really useful way to preview Parkruns in the south east. Thanks! 👍
Thanks, Andrew. I wish I could find the time to do more parkruns and races to review.
@@inmruns we all need more Saturdays! 😄 Look forward to seeing more in the future. Cheers!
Lovely venue. Did it once in winter. You'd probably love Sheringham at this time of year with all the flowers.
Yes, I was thinking of going to Sheringham, but it’s about an hour's drive. I didn't really want to travel too far, so Sandringham is only 15 minutes away. I'll try to give it a go sometime when I don't feel so lazy 😂.
looks a lovely park run 😀 my vote for park run toilets go to Levengrove (Dumbarton) - spotless 😀 the park was stunning too 😃
Sounds great! If I ever find myself in that part of the world, I will be sure to check that one out.
At Sandringham, a couple of hours after you, did go to Hunstanton after, but the weather took a turn for the worst, will have to visit again, went to the other side of Norfolk to stay 2 days, some of the rain showers were shocking, never seen rain like it lol. Gorleston on sea was nice. Nice video and as you said the flowers were stunning driving in, the house was great.
Glad you enjoyed Sandringham. It was a shame about the weather - it did rain, but not as bad as you're saying. We went back to where we were staying and had some breakfast. We were going to attempt to go to Wells-next-the-Sea for a walk, but didn't bother and ended up spending the afternoon in a pub in Hunstanton. Cheers! 🍻
Congrats may friend , I m a Brazilian runner veteran 70 years old marathon 3:08:56 fantastic your race , good bless
Thank you for sharing, my friend! 🏃🇧🇷 That's amazing that you're a veteran runner still rocking marathons at 70 years old.
Just found your channel and realised we did this one together. I am the guy with the water bottle behind you in white at 4:05. Very hungover that day!
Well done for even showing up! I'm not sure if I could run with a hangover. 💪
Let’s go mate I’m doing the Saxon. Hope to see you there. Aiming for my first sub 1:40. Cheers.
Great! Please say hello if you see me, and good luck with your sub 1:40.
Keep the Videos coming... Also it was nice to meet you at bluewater the other day.
Thank you, Stewart, it was nice meeting you as well. I appreciate your support. Sorry we didn't get to chat for long!
Thanks for the update. I hope that all your Parkruns go well.
Thank you, Paul. Much appreciated 👍
You doing Beachy Head again in October Ian ?
I am tempted as I did really enjoy the event, even with the bad weather. With some luck, it would be good to take the challenge in some better conditions.
@@inmruns yes mate, I'll be there once again.
Hi Ian, just wondering which camera it is that you use on your hat, is it the Insta360? Cheers 😁
Hi Tom, yes, it's the Insta 360 Go 3. It's the first time I have used it for my channel. I wouldn't necessarily use it for normal filming, like when I talk to the camera, but it's more for POV shots. It's really great for that type of filming.
@@inmruns Great, thanks. I’ve been wanting to start recording some stuff myself and saw most using the Insta 360 for the POV stuff, little bit pricey but the quality of the footage does seem to be very good
@runningwithTom It's definitely worth the money, like everything, as long as it gets its use to justify the expense.
pleased your recovery is going well and well done,as always on your pr. looking forward to hearing about your next events. love the🐎🐎,what a great place to run !
Thanks, the recovery is taking time, still some way to go!! Thanks, it's certainly nice to have somewhere like that to run during my break time, good motivation.
the opening of this video i was like oh is this a differnet one today you in some flowers. good to see you back doing your sessions.
Thought you were watching Gardener's World for a while 😂.
Great work mate, I managed back to backs as well, 3,26 at Manchester and 3,25 at London (for the second year running). I'm now back in Perth, Australia, I just look at it as maximising my stay in the UK 🙂
Congrats on your two marathons and thank you. You must really like the Manchester and London marathons to travel from down under. Are you planning your next year as I believe London and Manchester are on the same dates?
@@inmruns I know re clash of dates! Stopped me going for a hat-trick mate! Undecided what to do at the moment, Manchester is cheap to enter and London is via a tour operator and $$$$. (I have family in Manchester so it's been a good way to catch up and do a couple of marathons in the process)
Good video well done I doing chester marathon oct my 4 marathon it will bein oct
Thank you! Good luck with your training. I hope all goes well. At least you have some decent weather, hopefully, for those long runs.
Good session. Will be interesting to see what you've got coming up.
Thanks, I really need to book some races to try for some decent times this year!
