Removing Density From a Wefted Wig

As someone who’s always had fine, thin hair, most wigs feel like too much hair for me. I typically send my wigs off to a specialty wig salon to have the density removed but I recently learned how to do it myself and I want to share this with you!
Please be sure to only attempt this with thinning shears as regular straight scissors will remove too much hair at once. The trick is to do just a couple of wefts, step back and look at your progress. Try on the wig. If you feel it’s still too much hair, go back and work on another row and alternate wefts for an even distribution of density.
