    Bangs look so much better after you did all the steps... And that birds nest part looked so much better after you zig zagged the part. Great job!!!!

    On camera, it is s o interesting that these very PT wigs never look overwhelming, but IRL or in photos they just swallow your head and face! This is especially evident in darker colors. Seville is lovely, and you made great modifications.

    I saw on another channel that you can take a hot comb & create a part at the top & use a chalk marker or under eye concealer to draw a natural top part.

    • @micheleswigreviews
      @micheleswigreviews  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Seville by Noriko is a synthetic (not heat friendly) style. The only heat I recommend using on traditional synthetic fibers is steam or the Hot Tools Professional plastic hot air brush (on dry fibers), because these fibers can melt. I would not use a hot comb. Also, I'm skeptical about being able to achieve a natural looking part with this method. Be careful about the advice you follow!💖

    Thanks Michelle for this video. I have thinned a few wigs and did it as you said, not taking the top layers. I like to wear a bob style and always try to put it behind my ears and they are usually too thick to do that. I will try what you said, taking a bit at a time and checking before going further.

    So I don't understand how you managed to do a pony, with your hair showing in back, with a full wig. I've did this with a topper, but don't understand how to incorporate my own bio hair in back when a full wig would normally cover that part of your hair/head. Can you please explain? Thanks so much for all of the info you've shared. 😀

    Very helpful video! I'm wondering, is there a way to take away some of the bulk in a mono top? Can you thin it the same way you thinned the sides? Or does that mess up your parting options if thinned? I'm referring to the actual mono top area & not the hair underneath it.

    • @micheleswigreviews
      @micheleswigreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much for your question, Mary! I would not thin the fibers in a mono top. I do think that would alter your parting options and might not look good. I have never seen a mono top wig that looked too dense in the actual mono top area. You could very carefully pluck some fibers (not in clumps). Here is a link to a video where I do some plucking - th-cam.com/video/Ma77NDPmdGo/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps!💖

    I purchased my first topper at a wig salon. I know it is synthetic hair but am wondering how I know if mine can take a hot air brush. The salon wants me to bring it to them to have it styled and that will be expensive. Hoping I can figure out how to do this myself.

    • @micheleswigreviews
      @micheleswigreviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use the HOT TOOLS Professional Hot Air Styling Brush or a steamer to style synthetic fibers. Here is a link to a video showing how I like to style a synthetic wig with steam - th-cam.com/video/jcDltchkQtU/w-d-xo.html. Here is a link to a video showing how I like to style a synthetic wig with this plastic hot air brush - th-cam.com/video/oOsczIUvfPU/w-d-xo.html. If you are concerned about damaging the fibers, I suggest testing the underside of your topper first. Hope this helps!💖

    Hi Michele, I just purchased my first WS1 clearance wig, United by EW. I love the style but have some of the same issues as you have with Seville. The main problem is the long front fringe falling in my face. I will purchase that Hot Tools brush, but do you recommend any type of styling spray? I see Hairuwear with the control settings around $30, a bit pricey! There are other Hairuwear sprays but want to make sure I get something that holds and can be used on both synthetic and HD fibers. I value your advice and keep making these videos! :)

    • @micheleswigreviews
      @micheleswigreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      United by Ellen Wille is a very pretty style! To answer your question, I don't use styling sprays. I believe many wig wearers like Jon Renau's Fiber Love Holding Spray (although it's pricey too!). It works for both synthetic and heat friendly synthetic fibers. Thanks so much for your kind words and for watching!😀💖
