I agree with you - but after years of doing it nobody has been hit by anything that I know of.
That gmc was in good shape😮
@@nunyabuziness8421 I’m glad it looked good to you. I worked very hard over six months with four abandoned trucks and some awesome vendors and sponsors to create that. Check out my playlist on my channel of how we built it.
Very entertaining, thanks.
Awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Damn Fall Guy Truck was Nice. WTF I would have Bought it the way it was.
It looked amazing on video - which was my goal. Looked pretty good in person too - check out the playlist of how we built it - would you still buy it after seeing how we did it? th-cam.com/video/bhM8t-UBJPI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tW4LzkbOftN302Vy
Ain't nothing like the life of a Hollywood
Stunt Man

Yes! You get it 100%
Those are some brave derivers!
Love it!
What Chevrolet model was the Anchorage police car?
Chevy Impala - about a 2009 or so....had a 3100 V6.
Yoo!!!! That crowd!!!
It is a wild event!!!!!
@@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures I agree! But is this the LAST ever event? I want it back next year
@@Ali_da_bigsuperkoolguy hard to say. Probably the last. The river bank is so eroded. There was barely room for safe spectators. Won’t know till the spring 2025 if it is going to be possible.
@@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures Oh man... Anyway, idk what is this car: 1:27 what is it?
I cant believe that ANYONE would sacrifice a RUNNING pickup truck! They're so damn USEFUL, no matter HOW beat they are!
That was my intention to create the illusion of a really nice truck. We built that out of four abandoned donated trucks, great sponsors and six months of time. I made a playlist here that shows how we got to July 4 and why with that build - th-cam.com/video/bhM8t-UBJPI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=p_d7GOpcapBnus8A
@@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures Oh! YOU built that! Well, you sure got the Squarebody crowd in a tizzy! I'm more of a Ford and Mopar guy, but you made that Chebby look great! I will watch the build!
@@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures Having seen the "launch", and the last 5 or 6 July 4th cliff dives, I'm tempted to bring up my 92 Silverado 2500, 2WD, extended cab, longbed. It's truly BEAT, 230K miles, rod knocking, no brakes, body HAMMERED! MY trouble is the expense of the trip from Seattle area to Alaska! I'm disabled and poor AF!
Have they launched a new (2024) car or truck? That would be a site to see.
Nope. But would be awesome
# poderiam me explicar, como fazem para os carros sairem sozinhos ⁉️⁉️⁉️
They put a pull strap
On the throttle and use a stick to push the gearshift into drive. The very first one was a manual transmission and those are a lot more difficult to go without stalling.

The Cop car into the pond was nice! Lots made it to the water this year, normally none or 1.
It was radical - especially the fire after.
What was that red convertible that went straight into the lake?
@@snowrocket Honda accord with the roof cut off.
The GMC. Why?
I built it as a replica of the stunt trucks used on the old TV show the Fall Guy so it would perform that last greatest stunt ever. Now...in a different situation I would have a perfectly restored Hero Truck that would have in the next scene drove off into the sunset like in all the TV movies and shows after a big stunt. But...we at least got the big stunt and the final destruction was TV show worthy. The way the roll bar popped off and it rolled was exactly what I was picturing. NOW - to know why THAT truck - look at my playlist on my channel for the fall guy. You will see from day one when it was delivered what I was working with and why/how we built it to what you saw.

That cop car that landed in the water was epic
It was epic! And it caught fire. So wild!!
Wow, that was cool.
@@joniportwood1974 thank you Joni. Wish you had been here with us!!!!
Getting bigger every year very cool
Yes! Thanks for watching!
Agree, I thought the squarebody was going to be rusted out. Shame to see it go.
Check out my playlist of how we built it. I link that here - it was pretty bad. It took four abandoned trucks to make that one. th-cam.com/video/bhM8t-UBJPI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tW4LzkbOftN302Vy
Is it me or is the crowd getting bigger and bigger each year? I live in South Africa and look forward to this every year, wish we had something like this. The timing of that plane was epic, what a show this year was, first time I seen the car actually land in the water, and not just once.
No doubt it IS getting larger crowds every year.
The crowd was huge - but the land area is smaller too - the river keeps claiming more and more of the bank. Not sure if they can pull it off next year.
@@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures fingers crossed they can still do it next year and a few years after that, very unique.
