Fitting an RS Spoiler to my MK6 Fiesta ST150

- I thought this would be one of those 'marmite mods' that some people would love and others would hate, but, after some sneaky posts on Instagram it seems as though most of you were keen for a spoiler mod and a lot of you suggested I get an RS style spoiler.... so here you go! I actually bought this thing a few months back but it was for sale in Scotland so it took me a while to physically get my hands on it. But my best mate Martyn lives just a few miles from where this was listed so he took delivery and I'd been patiently waiting for him to come down and visit!
So what are your thoughts on the RS spoiler for the MK6? I've tried to make it a little different to all the others out there by wrapping the end caps in the same satin matte chrome red vinyl as the rest of the car, while keeping the majority of the spoiler black. I've also tried to highlight that this is still very much an ST, I'm not trying to call this an RS, or make an RS replica or anything like that - so keep an eye out for the other little addition to the spoiler as a reminder of that.

***LINKS TO BUY*** For everyone who keeps asking for a link - I bought the spoiler second hand, as far as I know there is no longer anyone making these spoilers for the MK6. As I stated in the video they are a custom made piece, not an off the shelf part you could buy. Your best bet is Facebook marketplace or ask on the owners pages 👍🏻

The black one? Unfortunately the company aren’t trading anymore. They were a custom number plate company so try asking a few and they might be able to help, that would be my advice bud 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I think wrapping the end caps make it look better them leaving them black. Plus the little line of red looks brill
I have mk5 i suppose facelifted fiesta so ur st is the same i think.Im not sure if the original st roof spoiler ll fit but otherwise i ll buy some cheaper unpainted roof.

Car looks fantastic, all except the tyre branding! 😆 It detracts from the shape/look of the car in my opinion, and it makes the tyres look fatter. I think ordinary black tyres/gloss black wheels would work better.

Loving the vids man, just taking the engine out of my st150 for forge and turbo so any st150 youtubers are keeping me motivated!
Got a mk6 St myself, having a problem with rain water leaking through (I think) spoiler bolt holes into the boot skin and down through the lock mechanism into the spare wheel well. Wondered if you had a simaler thing? From what I can see from the video it looks like you might have filled the holes?
It’ll be the rear lights or 3rd brake light - I’ve done a video on how to fix this on the mk6, one of my earlier videos 👍🏻 Spoiler holes don’t go through into the boot.
@@MendItModIt thanks, interesting. I have changed the 3rd break light which I believe was leaking. Water is definitely coming out of the boot lock mechanism, and my spoiler holes aren't sealed like yours seem to be, you can see holes that go in between the two skins of the boot metal. 🤔
@@eddmeekums oh I’m not sure then, you might have to try and seal the holes when you put the bolts in
Get a Maxton diffuser to really finish it, if you haven't already of course
Car is looking good dude, the wrao in the end caps has made it suite the car. Always had a soft spot for the MK6 ST, I recently brought one myself but can't justify spending the money to modify it just yet 😂

Is the spoiler from a MK2 or MK3? Because I want this on my fiesta
It’s custom made mate, I’m not sure which one they use but it’s chopped up and grafted onto the fiesta spoiler I believe

Its a custom one moulded to the st150 .
You can expect to buy one from 400-600 quid .

You can either get them off ebay if you're lucky or fb in the fiesta groups .
But you can expect to pay nearly 500 quid for one
