I think they look great 👍 Could you run (if you did a track day) 1 duct to the air filter and the other one split the duct (with smaller piping ) to each front brake.
Thank you mate. Well now you mention it I do have some brake upgrades planned and that would be a very cool idea. Maybe I’ll do some testing see if 2 vents to the filter is any better than 1 and if there’s not much in it look at cooling something like the brakes. Thanks for the the suggestion buddy 🙏🏻
Nooooo! I'm in the process of doing a rear disc conversion on a Mk6 Zetec s, and I will be refurbing the calipers, I was hoping to use your videos as a guide, do you think you will do a video to find out what failed?
@@benshier1152 well I spent more because I wanted all new parts where I could. I got the calipers/carriers/hubs off Facebook for £80. Everything else was new like the handbrake cable, dust guards, rebuild kits, new bearings for the hubs came to about £130.

@@MendItModIt hi Mike i've had a look at disassembling/reassembling the snap ring from the rear caliper, I think yours continued to leak because the snap ring wasn't fully seated as that's what applies pressure to the internal mechanism (the bit with the threaded bar) and in turn pushes on the little oring. Is there any reason why you reused the old oring and not the one from the Autofren rebuild kit?
@@MendItModIt as in say the fog delete for air ducts is round duct to a round hole. So wonder how it works with attaching round tubing duct to these due to their shape. I wonder if they would look nice in a subtle way if I got them and had them done glass black when I get my grills done gloss black.
@@DriveWithAndy oh, it’s just the outer face that’s that shape, the collector on the back is round so the ducting fits snugly and I can secure them with jubilee clamps or something 👍🏻
@@MendItModIt oh awesome. I was gonna buy the fog ducts but now I am thinking just tint the fog lens so doesn't stand out and then get these and gloss black them. Like how they have a modern shape. Will have to go check out your link for where to get
I’ve just bought these too, but my bottom grille is permanently screwed/glued into the bumper, is it possible to do this without removing it. Looks sick thou🔥 Thanks Stealth_mk6💪🏻
Possibly mate, definitely be a bit harder but with a bit of wiggling you’ll get there. Hardest bit will be lining the holes up. Might help if you take the bumper off so you’re not fighting with the rad
I would like the stealth look, I think it’s something that you’d see in person but would be hard to see on camera if you get me? But I would like both 😂
Great looking MOD, shame he doesn’t list them on eBay. Must help with under bonnet temps even without piping added.
Wrapping it was defo the right choice, great video again mate
Thanks buddy, glad you like them 👌🏻
I'm going to do the same thing on my semi-track ST150 but for the front brakes, might do something like this for the intake aswel
They look great! The wrap colour definitely was the best choice
cool, but i would print it by myself, is a model avaible?
Just solved a 3d printing issue i have with that putty spray 😂 nice one

I’ve already done calliper rebuild videos, they’re all on my channel 👍🏻

Really smart but gloss black for me 👍
I do think the stealth look would be cool too. Might mix it up now and again… when the wrap peels 🤫😂
Awesome mod!
Gotta say they are quite cool. How does the duct connect to them though so that all the air runs in smoothly and not a circle in a square type thing
I love them, I think they look so cool 😎 not quite sure what you mean though mate sorry?
