Also, problem with Honda/Acura is seals go bad between 7 to 10 years as opposed to Toyota for 15/20 years not a single seal leaks.

Great video man, most other videos don’t tell you to take the crank pulley off before doing this job.

Acura made it harder requiring pulley to be removed that wasn’t needed in previous gen.

Acura and the 13-17 accords need pulley to be taken off. I just did my accord v6 and had to remove belt and pulley. Was easy since I have impact but it is time consuming compared to previous gen v6 that didn't have pulley in the way

Once the bolt is out can the pulley be put back on in any position or are there timing positions it has to follow?

It only goes one way. There is a guide pin on the crankshaft.

@@Ceas2000 I usually have to heat it with a torch and then use the impact gun on it.

@@Ceas2000 YOU NEED AN IMPACT WRENCH, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, AND FINALLY FIXED IT, DON'T HEATED, IT MIGHT RUIN THE BOTTOM SEAL.

Does the oil need to be emptied to change out?

No. You don’t need to drain oil.
