I just got a second hand Ripper, and I'm in love with this thing. At some point over the past year or two they stopped putting tritium vials in the switches. The one I have is just a glow-in-the-dark. I don't know if I'm going to go through the trouble of replacing it with the tritium valve, but just want to let everybody know.
Also Just wanna say Thanks LTK. Between the Quantity of knives you review at every Price. The Table sales that allow us to get knives we otherwise couldn't afford and now the steel testing! You do so so much for the knife community Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Over 10000 fires and its as smooth and hard hitting as day 1. Plus the screws have never needed tightened either. This knife is so bloody well made. Only a tad of play up as u cut down but in all all other 3 directions there's nothing. If u love otf knives get 1. This is better than my microtechs. I swear. Only 1 thing the titanium fire buttons a bit abrasive if u fire it a lot but that's true on my micros. I swear best money I ever spent. Seriously can't say this enough. Amazing quality. Amazing
I have had one for four or five years now have a lot of brand name knives. By far this is my favorite knife never even had to open it up always reliable and it still looks new only slight paint imperfections on wear edges.
Nicely done. Thank you for going the distance and getting a blade tested. Both the switch as well as the clip are TC4 Titanium. You should open one and see the internals. They really are beautifully made.
I have carried this knife every day since it showed up along with my Maxace Covenant from DH gate and i love it. Best OTF i have ever handled and my overall favorite knife i have ever owned. If you are on the fence about buying this Just do it you will not be disappointed. I will be buying another one very soon in blue.

This is great to hear that it tested real. I recently won a Vespa marked with S35vn and i would hope if the m390 is real then the other labeled metals are as well. The one i have seems to be quite well made. Even came with a tool that fits the real MT screws. Are you aware of any distributor in the US that has these?
Timothy Brabham that’s the problem is there are no US distributors due to all the copied designs they make and I think it’s not legal to import auto knives from China. Morally puts a dent to me because they undermine US companies by breaking the law.

I'm thinking of getting a vespa that's look like a microtech troodon... another nice knife that is from China is called Ganzo Firebird some have real carbon fiber scales and blade is 440 not to bad👍
Some shops on DHgate are having crazy sales right now. Just ordered one of these for less than $10. Might not ever get to me but I had to take a shot for the price.

Sent me a broken Vespa that I had to get fix, promised credit toward a future purchase and then ghosted me haha. What a jerk. seems like this video is going to change the game for high end knives. now that the cats out the bag and we know china isnt lying, things are going to get real. this or the darkstar is my next knife. i have kizer high end knives and i love them.
These are great knives and well priced considering materials and action. The aluminum handles are 7075 which is a better grade aluminum. These even have dual springs . Definitely a bargain.
If the Chinese ever start making original OTF designs with premium materials, the American manufacturers are in trouble. I have no loyalty to buying American, I just want the best product for the best price.
Thats me ordered mine today from Kevin at che. But until it actually arrives I'm gna feel sick with worry. I live in Scotland and in the past I've ordered atleast 11 otf knives and so far not 1 has got to me. I trust che but still they hav 0 control over my country's customs 🤷♂️ but he swears he'll send it stripped down and in 2 packages so let's wait and see. I'll update this if it gets here as promised
Update, yep they do got my double edge ripper in 4 weeks I did change the spring inside it was too difficult to fire imo and was worried about it damaging itself
I suspect those dhgate reviews are screened. I seen not one negative so I bought one. It lasted less than 2 weeks. Would not stay closed half the time, so blade slides out in your pocket on its own. Carbon fiber inlay simply fell off. It did look cool tho
Never had any problems with mine. If it comes off track you just pull it all the way out and it pops back onto the track. Same as the microtech or benchmade autos.
This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen . Can't find the $151price or I'd pick up one .$180 is A spyderco Kaparaso I cant go chineese for that price. If you get one on your table at sale time I'm buying it . If you buy and FORGET about it, it's quicker than you think. With that said, don't forget about it, of course. Just buy and don't check on tracking for 2 weeks (or a better surprise - it just shows up in your mailbox before then!). Forget your normal routine of expectation. I've had them come as quick as 9 days and as long as 35. Once I own something, I'm surprised when I look back at delivery date, like "oh shit that was 3 months ago?!" Feels like a new knife in my mind. I dunno. When you constantly have stuff showing up, it's easier too of course. I'm just stating a bunch of obvious shit. Sorry for the waste of a comment and time. I genuinely mean it though - if you purchase and don't anticipate - it goes quicker than you initially assume. 👍

Everybody wants to defend these blatant knockoffs and stolen intellectual property because of the price ! They feel that Benchmade, Microtech, And Gaurdian Tactical overcharge for their products. They don't understand (or care) about how much it cost to make a knife in the USA with quality components and labor. Unfortunately this line of thinking is what's causing so many problems in the world (because of China)from Knives to Spacecraft design, And everything in-between!
It's a lie they send you a little Asian kid and a metal working machine for 200 bucks kid still has not made me anything but a mess to clean up and sleepless nights listening to him yell in Chinese and a mix of crying....

These are great!. Most otfs will rub on internals and dull themselves. These have built in tolerances to remedy that shortcoming.
