- Police in England arrested a man Tuesday on suspicion of manslaughter in the death of American ice hockey player Adam Johnson, whose neck was cut by a skate during a game.

Exactly. I've played and watched hockey for many years. That is no accident. That dude intentionally put his skate blade up to that guys throat.

Disneyland does the same thing when someone does at their parks, they say they died in the hospital to avoid looking bad. So do many ski resorts... Looks better saying they died at the hospital... Pathetic.

So many people came out in support of the guy who killed him it was disgusting to read all the comments saying it was an accident. NO one in hell lifts their leg back and kicks at a guy passing behind them on accident. He is a dirty player and deserves a lifetime ban and years in prison.
There's no way this was an accident. No reason for ths goons leg to be that high in the air. This was a deliberate attempt to injure that resulted in death.

Took long enough. First thing your taught is to not lift your skates. Nobody does this. Not a freak accident, this was 100% intentional. I’ve coached hockey for 35 years, I’ve seen nothing REMOTELY close to this in my 40+ years in the sport. Obviously someone, or some group, is trying to protect this guy. Anyone deep in the sport, knows this is a no brainer. Unreal society we live in.

If you slow down the footage, the murderer actually kicks him twice. Not to mention, you can see by his helmet positioning, his eyes were in on what his leg was doing.

It looked like the defensive player was trying to prevent the offensive player from getting an open lane to the net. His momentum was going past and away from the O-player so he kicked his leg out to impede him, striking his throat with his skate blade. He meant to hit him, not kill him: textbook manslaughter.
I agree but is that kicking action a deadly action or is just a fluke outcome. Doing that exact thing 1000 times may only result in this 1 death which wouldn't make it manslaughter if they find that
