- time to set up my kitchen in my studio apartment ! i am tackling everything one by one and this week i focus on setting up my kitchen in my brand new new york city apartment :) I do a lot of organizing, go for my first grocery run, ,set up all of my cabinets, and figure out how to make my kitchen functional & conducive to my lifestyle. i try and keep myself motivated while also having some fun breaks with friends with workout classes, a comedy show, and summer walks. it's a chaotic time but we get the kitchen all organized (and even set up my TV) !

Add dividers to give cabinets order. ...
Use pull-out shelves. ...
Rack and stack baking sheets and cutting boards. ...

@@LuciaCordaro I think you could get some plate shelves. The shelves in your cabinets are so high you could maximize your storage even more. If you are really interested in ideas I could go back through it and write down thoughts. One thing to keep in mind if you do store other things in there keep them far away from the stove where grease can accumulate. I had to do this is a studio I had I kept overflow linens and put them in storage bags.
Hi Lucia! Love your channel. Congrats on your new space. 🎉❤ If you have space in your tea drawer, I would suggest putting your zip lock bags, Saran Wrap, aluminum foil, etc. in there. It’ll be more accessible when you’re back in the flow of cooking and prepping. Just a thought. 😊

If you haven’t already, I would recommend getting one of those shelves to put above your plates so that you are able to stack another set of plates on top.

Hey Lucia, the utensil at 20:52 is a Scandinavian cheese slicer. They make the thinnest slices from cheese blocks and I really like them on buttered sour dough bread:)

It looks like your upper cabinet shelves are adjustable. I’d suggest lowering all of your upper shelves to help you access things on the 2nd and 3rd Shelf.

Those two storage cubes (greenish coloured ones) would look good in place of a couch on this space - in the area you said you were going to put a couch. Would work as a great little seating/putting on shoes area in the room :) And then your cute pink mirror would look great on the left hand side of the tv (facing the kitchen area) so you can see your outfits etc :) it is all coming together so well, love watching :) xx

Glad you are finally in your apartment. I hope you get some plants to put on your window skill to add a homey feeling. Maybe you can mount your T.V. on one of your walls so it will not need any type of table to place it on. A designer once said when you are in a small space with limited floor space you go up to the walls ceilings etc. There is an excellent Canadian designer, Alexander Gatoe and she has a TH-cam channel where she remodels places and many are small studio apartments, you might want to look her up for ideas, she is amazing. Your kitchen area is looking good and remember mirrors will make a room seem bigger when placed in the right spot and will even reflect light back into the room when placed in a certain way. Lucia! I find that lavender essential oil is the best spot treatment for my hormonal acne. Give it a try! Best applied right after cleansing at night, before putting on your lotions and other skincare. But then I have to be careful to not get it on my upper checks, which are super sensitive. Make sure to try a brand that is reputable. I trust Doterra and Young Living.

Get some under counter lighting. I think there is some out there that is not too expensive.
There's a Trader Joe's 1350 Willow Ave. In Hoboken if that's any help then there's one on Spring st. closer to FiDi. I admire ur fortitude in answering the comments! U have a lot of stamina! 😊
